Direct current coefficient is an essential parameter of I/V transducer, which directly affects the measurement results. Traditional method, comparing the measured transducer with the standard transducer, has limitations;failure to solve the problem in essence. To measure the direct current coefficient accurately, a measuring device was developed, which consists of direct current source, standard direct current ratio, adjustable standard direct current ratio, standard I/V transducer, voltage meter and null indicator. A measurement method was proposed, which fixes the value of direct current source and current flowing through the standard I/V transducer;adjusts the current through the high accuracy ratio conversion. The error measurement principle was employed to minimize the influence on the measurement results. Measure the current coefficient of an I/V transducer and restore its actual working state. The result shows that the current coefficients in the four current ranges are all negative, and are basically in the order of 10-5. The proposed method is characterized by breaking dependence on the superior standard device and meets the needs of precise measurement result correction. © 2023 IEEE.

In order to improve the accuracy of scanner measurement standard apparatus, a scanner measurement optimization method based on cluster analysis is proposed in the paper. The method firstly constructs a marker point layout with redundant information on the basis of the traditional scanner measurement of standard apparatus, and collects the measurement information of standard apparatus under this layout by a 3D laser scanner, and then optimizes the initial marker point layout by using a weight-based optimization strategy for the measurement results, and then performs the re-fitting of the length parameter of the standard apparatus under the optimized layout, and outputs the final standard apparatus measurement Finally, based on this optimization scheme, an experimental analysis of a 38.1 mm standard ball is carried out and compared with the CMM method with higher accuracy, which verifies that the optimized layout has an important impact on improving the measurement accuracy of the standard ball. The optimization method provides a new calibration scheme for realizing the quantity and value traceability of high-precision large-size 3D laser scanner, which is of good practicality and certain guiding significance. © 2024 SPIE.

The correct solution of weight function is very important to the analysis of induced potential distribution. In this paper, the weight function under the special boundary of Laplace equation is simulated and studied. Firstly, the boundary conditions are studied by using the electrical characteristics of the electromagnetic flowmeter sensor. Secondly, the weight functions of different conductivity and thickness measuring tubes are analyzed. Finally, the analysis conclusions are verified from the perspective of experiments. The research conclusion proves the correctness and validity of the research theory based on the special boundary weight function of electrical characteristics. The analysis method in this paper is of great significance in studying the influence of electromagnetic flowmeter wall contamination and electrode contamination on the weight function. © 2023 IEEE.

Electromagnetic flowmeter is a reliable and high linearity speed type liquid flow meter. The accuracy of electromagnetic flowmeter is affected by the distribution of the measured fluid. The cross section of the usual electromagnetic flow sensor is circular, which is to ensure that the flow field distribution in the sensor is symmetrical, but in many actual working conditions, it is necessary to use the electromagnetic flowmeter of the different diameter sensor to control the flow process. In this paper, the weight function of the electromagnetic flowmeter of the elliptical section sensor is analyzed, and the intentional conclusion is given. The weight function of the special-shaped sensor and the uneven distribution characteristics of the weight function are revealed, which provides a reference for optimizing the structure of the electromagnetic flowmeter and improving the measurement accuracy. © 2023 IEEE.

The measurement of non-full pipe uniform flow with circular section is the focus of energy saving and emission reduction and government regulation. In order to study the accurate measurement of non-full flow, a three- dimensional mathematical model was established, and the boundary conditions were determined. Based on the velocity distribution characteristics of non-full flow section, an electromagnetic non-full flow measurement device is constructed. Set up the non-full flow calibration device in the laboratory, and carry out the experiment of real flow measurement in the laboratory. In order to ensure the accuracy of non-full tube flow measurement, the flow stabilizing device and non-full tube electromagnetic flowmeter are designed based on the study of the flow field distribution of non-full tube flow. The experimental results show that the error is less than 1.3% and the expanded uncertainty is U = 0.025% (K = 2). The simulation model and parameter selection are also verified by the experimental results. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, a new corrugated horn antenna ranges from 40 GHz to 60GHz is simulated based on the static zone performance of the compact field, which satisfies measurement demands of feed antenna. After simulation and optimization, main parameters of the antenna, such as standing-wave coefficient, radiation pattern and radiation gain are highly improved, comparing with the traditional antenna. © 2023 Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society (ACES).

In this paper, a novel corrugated horn antenna is developed in a wide frequency ranges from 40 GHz to 60GHz ,which is used to evaluate performance of the compact field. After simulation and optimization, a novel manufactured corrugated horn antenna is developed, the main data of which show great consistency with simulated data in parameters of standing-wave coefficient, radiation pattern and radiation gain. In the end, the developed corrugated horn antenna is used to evaluate the performance of compact field, which meet the measurement needs. © 2023 IEEE.

In order to obtain the most accurate and effective sampling flow rate calibration method of air sampler, several different equipments were used under two different installation conditions in this paper. According to the experimental results, the calibration results of ultrasonic flowmeter and special orifice flowmeter will be affected by the installation conditions. Consequently, while ultrasonic flowmeter and special orifice flowmeter are used to sampling flow rate calibration, it is necessary to first calibrate the two flowmeters with filter paper, and then use the corrected results to calibrate the sampling flow rate. Based on the results of further experiments, calibration datas of gas roots flowmeter and special orifice flowmeter are consistent with the results obtained from gas flow standard facilities by negative pressure method, at the same time, there is still an error of 3%~5% when corrected ultrasonic flowmeter is used. Therefore, gas flow standard facilities by negative pressure method and gas roots flowmeter can be directly used for sampling flow rate calibration of air sampler, if it is not convenient, special orifice flowmeter which calibrated with filter paper is also a good choice, ultrasonic flowmeter is not recommended. © FLOMEKO *** rights reserved

Liquid lead-bismuth eutectic (LBE) is one of the preferred materials for accelerator driven subcritical(ADS) transmutation targets and coolants in fourth-generation nuclear reactors. Due to the complex and interacting physical and chemical factors in the measurement process of LBE in high temperature operating environment, it is very difficult to control the flow and on-line calibration, resulting in the slow development of LBE flow meter technology, which hinders the fourth Generation nuclear reactor technology development. Electromagnetic flowmeter is currently recognized as one of the most suitable LBE flow measuring instruments in the world. In this paper, the measurement characteristics of LBE electromagnetic flowmeter at high temperature are numerically analyzed and studied, the influence of temperature on magnetic field strength and flow field distribution is quantitatively given, and the measurement linearity of LBE electromagnetic flowmeter is analyzed. The research conclusions provide a certain reference for the detection of lead-bismuth alloy flow parameters and the on-line calibration of LBE electromagnetic flowmeters in the nuclear industry control process. © FLOMEKO *** rights reserved

Electromagnetic flowmeter(EMFM) is widely used in industrial field and single-phase flow measurement because of its excellent accuracy and stability. In the past decades, Multiphase flow measurement is widely used in petroleum, power, chemical, metallurgical and pharmaceutical fields. In recent years, The study of solid-liquid two-phase flow has become one of the hot topics. The traditional EMFM has many drawbacks in measuring multiphase flow. In terms of sensors, the weight function theory is extended. And aiming at the limitation that the traditional electromagnetic flow sensor needs symmetrical fluid distribution, a multi-electrode non-insulated tube wall electromagnetic flow sensor is designed. In terms of converters, The characteristics of the measured signal are analyzed comprehensively, and the compensation circuit is designed, and the signal amplification circuit is optimized. n the solid-liquid two-phase flow experiment, the theory of extended weight function is verified, and the accuracy and reliability of the designed electromagnetic flowmeter are verified. It provides a feasible way to solve the problem of asymmetric single-phase flow measurement widely existing in the industrial field. © 2022 IEEE.
