A bifunctional competitive antigen-enhanced dynamic light scattering (DLS) immunosensor was developed for the ultrasensitive detection of furosemide in slimming products. The bifunctional competitive antigen (Furo@BSA@GA) was synthesized by co-labeling furosemide and gallic acid with a cis-diol structure on bovine serum albumin (BSA). This innovative DLS immunosensor employs monoclonal antibody-coated magnetic nanoparticles (MNP@mAbs) as DLS probes to competitively bind the furosemide with bifunctional competitive antigen. Then, the polyvalent phenylboronic acid-labeled bovine serum albumin (PBA@BSA) further triggers the aggregation of the MNP@mAbs and Furo@BSA@GA complex, and the variation in the hydrodynamic diameter of the DLS probe is inversely proportional to the concentration of furosemide. The highly efficient boronate-affinity interaction between PBA@BSA and Furo@BSA@GA significantly reduces the detection time to 25 minutes and dramatically enhances the sensitivity of the DLS immunosensor, achieving a detection limit of 196.33 fg mL−1, which is 1251 times lower than that of traditional enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays. © 2025, The Authors. Chromatographic separation is an indispensable and efficiency technology in the manufacturing process of chemical products and biomedicine. Simulated moving bed (SMB) is a kind of process that can increase the efficiency of adsorbents in the adsorbent bed. SMB system contains several sectors of flow rate, the switching time of valves and other possible influencing variables, Because of its complexity;it is very difficult to achieve precise prediction and control. The software on the market is basically used for specific materials, and the parameters are set manually, so it is impossible to control and adjust the process. This paper firstly digitalization the simulation process, then analysis sensitivity of regional flow velocity on export concentration, on this basis, the rule of fuzzy control is established. The article implemented an uncertainty evaluation method for output power of microwave digestion system, based on the adaptive Monte Carlo method and the correlation of inputs. The result is compared with that obtained by GUM method. By using Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Normal probability method, the probability distribution of the output has deviated from normal distribution in a certain interval. The Result of GUM method is not validated, and MCM method is proved to be faster and more efficient in the case of complex models and correlative cases.

The proposed method aims to address problems associated with transformer fault recognition rate and stability by introducing the Chaotic Pareto Sparrow Search Algorithm (CPSSA). The CPSSA approach fused fractional order chaotic mapping and improved lens imaging backward learning strategies to optimize the fault diagnosis model of Support Vector Machine (SVM). These strategies were used to increase sparrow population diversity, convergence speed, and accuracy by reducing the impact of local extremes. CPSSA was employed to optimize kernel function parameters and penalty factors of SVM to create a CPSSA-SVM based model for diagnosing transformer faults. Experimental results demonstrate that the CPSSA-SVM model can identify faults with a high accuracy of 92.36%. These findings highlight the potential of this approach for real-time monitoring of transformer operations and ensuring safe grid operation.

To make coal-fired power generation more environmentally friendly,China has initiated a series of ultra-low emission ret-rofits to the air pollution control(APC)system of the existing power *** this study,a life cycle assessment(LCA)is conducted to analyze the environmental net benefits for the typical ultra-low emission retrofit of a 1000 MW power *** key processes,substances,and APC devices are verified and *** results confirm that the retrofit effectively decreases the environmental stress of acidification potential(AP),eutrophication potential(EP),and photochemical ozone creation potential(POCP)by 69%-79%,which can be attributed to significantly reduced emissions at the ***,the retrofit has also increased other impact categories by 24%-79%,primarily due to the consumption of additional elec-tricity and *** retrofit of selective catalytic reduction,electrostatic precipitator(ESP),and wet limestone flue gas desulfurization devices has a dominant effect on the impacts of EP,human toxicity potential(HTP),and AP.A newly installed wet ESP shows some environmental benefits(only for AP),but causes considerable burdens,in particular for the investigated impact categories global warming potential(GWP),marine aquatic ecotoxicity(MAETP),and abiotic depletion fossil(ADP fossil).The obtained results indicate that the hidden environmental consequences,which are associated with the production of energy and materials,need to be examined more comprehensively to inform the development of ultra-low emission technologies and strategies effectively.

Geographic Origin Traceability and Stable Isotope Prediction of Pgi Hongyuan Yak Milk by Ftir

The geographical origin of Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) Hongyuan yak milk and three other non-PGI milk samples were distinguished by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) combined with chemometrics analysis, which was also used to predict δ13C, δ15N, δ2H, and δ18O values in the milk samples. Principal component analysis (PCA), orthogonal partial least squares discriminant analysis (OPLS-DA), linear discriminant analysis (LDA), and support vector machine regression (SVMR) were used for data analysis. The classification accuracies of LDA and OPLS-DA reached 90.9% and 94.1%, respectively. Meanwhile, the best SVMR calibration models for predicting the four stable isotopes of milk (δ13C, δ15N, δ2H, and δ18O) were moderately to well predicted by FTIR (R2: 0.62 to 0.75). The results show that FTIR combined with chemometrics provides a rapid and non-destructive method for milk origin differentiation and δ13C, δ15N, δ2H, and δ18O prediction. © 2025, The Authors. Environmental Occurrence, Human Health Risk, and Ecological Risk Assessment of Herbicides in the Taihu Lake Basin, China

The occurrence of herbicides in large basins' surface water has attracted significant attention. Here, we investigated the occurrence and spatiotemporal distribution of 26 herbicides in the surface water of 41 sampling sites in the Taihu Basin, China, and assessed water quality safety and ecological health risk. In brief, all 26 herbicides were detected in the surface water of the Taihu Lake Basin, with 18 herbicides detected across all seasons and sampling sites and 13 herbicides showing a detection rate of 100%. And concentrations of 25 and 21 herbicides showed significant differences across different seasons and rivers, respectively. The risk assessment results indicate that the detected concentrations of the 26 herbicides in surface water comply with China's drinking water standards and pose negligible non-carcinogenic risks to human health. However, the herbicides detected in spring, summer, and winter posed medium to high risks to aquatic organisms across fish-algae-crustaceans three trophic levels, and pentazocine, isoproturon, atrazine, and prometryn were identified as reaching high-risk levels. In summer and autumn, the herbicides detected in surface water posed higher risks to submerged plants than fish-algae-crustaceans;herbicides already posed medium risks to submerged plants in autumn, with B-type herbicides being the key contributors to this outcome. © 2025, The Authors. In this paper，the feasibility of tracing the origin of yak meat in Xizang Autonomous Region based on stable isotope combined with multivariable statistics was researched. The stable isotope ratios of C, N, H and O in yak meat was determined by stable isotope ratio mass spectrometry, and the data were analyzed by analysis of variance, fisher discriminant analysis, back propagation (BP) neural network and orthogonal partial least squares discrimination analysis (OPLS-DA). DC current ratio error is an essential measurement performance of DC current ratio instrument, for example, DC current comparator, DC current transformer and DC current sensor. Error determination contributes to the instrument rational use. Based on the principle of secondary differential current measurement, self-calibration method, equal-ratio calibration method and stage-connection equal-ratio calibration method were put forward according to the characteristics of different calibrated instruments. Then, the actual value and error of DC current ratio were available. Meanwhile, circuit diagrams, calibration process and examples were provided; measurement uncertainty was evaluated. The result shows that the proposed methods meet the calibration requirements of DC current ratio instruments; the expanded uncertainty for the 1 A: 1 A～ 1000 A: 0.5 A ratio is 1.7×10-8～8.4×10-6. The automatic measurement program can effectively improve the work efficiency.

Introduction: Insulin resistance (IR) is associated with multiple pathological features. Although p53- or TRIB3-orchestrated IR is extensively studied in adipose tissue and liver, the role of p53-TRIB3 axis in myocardial IR remains unknown, and more importantly target-directed therapies of myocardial IR are missing. Objectives: Considering the beneficial effects of sulforaphane (SFN) on cardiovascular health, it is of particular interest to explore whether SFN protects against myocardial IR with a focus on the regulatory role of p53-TRIB3 axis. Methods: Mouse models including cardiac specific p53-overexpressing transgenic (p53-cTg) mice and Trib3 knockout (Trib3-KO) mice, combined with primary cardiomyocytes treated with p53 activator (nutlin-3a) and inhibitor (pifithrin-α, PFT-α), or transfected with p53-shRNA and Trib3-shRNA, followed by multiple molecular biological methodologies, were used to investigate the role of p53-TRIB3 axis in SFN actions on myocardial IR. Results: Here, we report that knockdown of p53 rescued cardiac insulin-stimulated AKT phosphorylation, while up-regulation of p53 by nutlin-3a or p53-cTg mice blunted insulin sensitivity in cardiomyocytes under diabetic conditions. Diabetic attenuation of AKT-mediated cardiac insulin signaling was markedly reversed by SFN in p53-Tg^fl/fl mice, but not in p53-cTg mice. Importantly, we identified TRIB3 was elevated in p53-cTg diabetic mice, and confirmed the physical interaction between p53 and TRIB3. Trib3-KO diabetic mice displayed improved insulin sensitivity in the heart. More specifically, the AMPKα-triggered CHOP phosphorylation and degradation were essential for p53 on the transcriptional regulation of Trib3. Conclusion: Overall, these results indicate that inhibiting the p53-TRIB3 pathway by SFN plays an unsuspected key role in the improvement of myocardial IR, which may be a promising strategy for attenuating diabetic cardiomyopathy (DCM) in diabetic patients. © 2024
