The nitric acid generated by partial discharge and the temperature rise caused by heat are the main deterioration factors of the composite insulator core rod during operation. This paper considers the influence of temperature changes in the degradation test of the nitric acid corroded core rod, and carries out the acid-heat degradation test of the acid-resistant core rod with different test temperature, nitric acid concentration, and deterioration time. And through macro analysis and micro analysis methods based on SEM and CLSM, comparative analyzing the morphological differences between the intact core rod, the acid etching core rod at room temperature, the acid-heat degraded core rod and the actual decay-like core rod. The macroscopic and microscopic morphology observation results show that the glass fiber of the acid-resistant core rod after acid etching at room temperature does not appear to be significantly broken. And the acid-resistant core rod after acid-heat deterioration has a serious deterioration process of glass fiber breakage and degradation of the epoxy resin matrix. It is proved that the temperature increase will accelerate the process of nitric acid corrosion of the core rod. The comparison of morphology shows that the acid-heat deterioration core rod and the actual decay-like core rod have more consistent characteristics in the macroscopic and microscopic morphologies. The acid-heat deterioration test method can better simulate the actual aging process of the core rod, and provide a direction for explaining the decay-like fracture mechanism of composite insulators. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Dear Editor,Hand,foot,and mouth disease(HFMD)is a common illness among children that is usually mild and ***,in some severe cases,patients may rapidly develop neurological and systemic complications that can be fatal(Ooi et al.,2010).HFMD is caused by a few serotypes of human enterovirus A(HEV-A)species(Yu and Cowling,2019),with enterovirus A71(EV-A71)and coxsackievirus A16(CV-A16)being the most typical causative agents(Yu and Cowling,2019).Furthermore,severe neurological sequelae are more common in cases with EV-A71 serotype infection than other serotypes(Ooi et al.,2010;Yu and Cowling,2019).There has been a significant increase in EV-A71 epidemic activity throughout the Asia–Pacific region(McMinn,2002)since EV-A71 was first isolated from a patient with central nervous system(CNS)disease in 1969(Schmidt et al.,1974).EV-A71 is a small non-enveloped virus belonging to HEV-A species of the genus Enterovirus in the family Picornaviridae(Nasri et al.,2007).Its genome is a single-stranded positive-sense RNA of approximately 7400 bp in length and contains only one complete open reading frame(ORF),which encodes a large polyprotein(Solomon et al.,2010).

The Stackelberg equilibrium approach is based on the traditional dynamic programming technique, which requires an understanding of the system model to solve the optimal control problem. Therefore, we propose a Q-learning algorithm based on actor-critic structure to solve the optimization problem of Stackelberg game in nonlinear systems with unknown system model data. Currently, the Q-learning algorithm is mainly used in the study of linear systems in this direction, and the study of nonlinear system problems is limited. In addition, the stability of the system is ensured by proving the consistency of the system state and the ultimate boundedness of the neural network weight estimation error. Finally, the effectiveness of the algorithm is verified by simulation experiment.

The reaction of carbonyl-to-imine/hemiaminal conversion in the atmospheric aqueous phase is a critical pathway to produce the light-absorbing N-containing secondary organic compounds(SOC).The formation mechanism of these compounds has been wildly investigated in bulk solutions with a low ionic ***,the ionic strength in the aqueous phase of the polluted atmosphere may be *** is still unclear whether and to what extent the inorganic ions can affect the SOC *** we prepared the bulk solution with certain ionic strength,in which glyoxal and ammonium were mixed to mimic the aqueous-phase *** characterization by High-resolution Mass Spectrometry was performed to identify the N-containing products,and the light absorption of the mixtures was measured by ultraviolet-visible ***-nine N-containing compounds were identified and divided into four categories(N-heterocyclic chromophores,high-molecular-weight compounds with N-heterocycle,aliphatic imines/hemiaminals,and the unclassified).It was observed that the longer reaction time and higher ionic strength led to the formation of more N-heterocyclic chromophores and the increasing of the lightabsorbance of the *** added inorganic ions were proposed to make the aqueous phase somewhat viscous so that the molecules were prone to undergo consecutive and intramolecular reactions to form the *** general,this study revealed that the enhanced ionic strength and prolonged reaction time had the promotion effect on the lightabsorbing SOC *** implies that the aldehyde-derived aqueous-phase SOC would contribute more light-absorbing particulate matter in the industrial or populated area where inorganic ions are abundant.

The A-GNSS terminal Over-The-Air (OTA) test system is a system for OTA performance of terminals that support A-GNSS. Terminals supporting A-GNSS can search for satellite navigation signals quicker than terminals only supporting GNSS. Active test is to measure the radiant power and receiving sensitivity of terminal over the air in a microwave anechoic chamber, which displays radiation performance of whole terminal obviously. Many test plans for OTA have been released, and among them the most recognized one is released by CITA. The instruments are mainly provided by Spirent and R&S. This paper introduces test plans, test situation of network operators and test institutions, compares 2 solutions provided by Spirit and R&S, describes test procedures, and simulates sensitivity test process.

The long pulse reflection method was used to detect the internal defects of the impact damage of carbon fiber reinforced plastics. Under the excitation of halogen lamp, the thermal imager synchronized the change of the surface temperature field of the test block and stored in the form of infrared sequence images. In order to improve the imaging quality of infrared images, a variety of infrared sequence image processing algorithms were studied, including polynomial fitting method, robust principal component analysis, independent component analysis and pulse phase method. The performance of each sequence image processing algorithm was quantitatively analyzed by using peak signal-to-noise ratio, root mean square error and entropy. The results show that the image quality evaluation indexes of these four sequence image processing algorithms are better than those of the original image, indicating that these four algorithms are suitable for enhancing the infrared thermal image of impact damage. In particular, the peak signal-to-noise ratio and entropy of the robust principal component analysis enhancement results are optimal among all the processing methods, and the root mean square error is suboptimal.

In radiation emission measurement, it is necessary to switch different types of measuring antennas or adjust the polarizations of the antennas. Therefore, there is a large risk of measurement data errors in the radiation emission measurement system. However, the current intermediate validation method used for the measurement system is time-consuming and not suitable for frequently checking the system compliance. In this paper, a real-time check method for radiated emission measurement system is proposed to achieve real-time validation of the measurement system during the measurement process. Meanwhile, the influences of the reference signals and electromagnetic wave reflections from the multi-frequency reference source device on measured data are avoided. The accuracy and reliability of the measured data can be ensured.

Whether epoxy resin is degraded or not in composite insulators is the most direct criterion to distinguish Decay-like fracture from brittle fracture and normally mechanical fracture. During the actual operation of composite insulators, the nitric acid produced by partial discharge and abnormal heating will accelerate the degradation and deterioration of epoxy resin of composite insulators. In this paper, the experimental platform under acid-heat condition is built by using heating furnace, grinding bottle and serpentine condensation tube, and the acid-heat deterioration experiments are carried out under 60 °C (3 mol/L and 5 mol/L) and 80 °C (3 mol/L and 5 mol/L) condition. The macroscopic and microscopic morphologies of epoxy resin after acid-heat deterioration are analyzed, and the morphology changes of epoxy resin under the influence of acid-heat coupling field are studied. Firstly, it is concluded that the epoxy resin changes directly from colorless to light yellow, and then from light yellow to dark yellow under the influence of acid-heat deterioration. In addition, in the early stage of deterioration, the bulge on the surface of epoxy resin decreases gradually. Meanwhile, the maximum height difference and standard deviation of the surface profile of epoxy resin also gradually decreases, and the roughness decreases. In the later stage of deterioration, cracks appear on the surface of epoxy resin and some epoxy resins fall off. At the same time, the maximum height difference and standard deviation of surface profile of epoxy resin increases. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This study proposes a novel detection approach utilising the canny algorithm to address the low accuracy issues in traditional icing thickness detection on overhead transmission lines. Employing an unmanned aerial vehicle equipped with a camera for collecting icing images, noise interference is mitigated via compressive sensing theory. Converting the images into greyscale enables edge detection using the canny algorithm. Utilising random Hough transform for extracting edge lines, which are then fused with edge images for subsequent processing and ice thickness calculation. Experimental results validate the substantial enhancement in detection accuracy and efficiency for icing thickness detection on overhead transmission lines with the application of this method. © 2024 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.
