Security evaluation has become a hot topic in the research field of water resource management. In this paper, we established a novel water resource security indicator system based on the Pressure-Status-Response (PSR) framework using grey relation analysis and technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS). A case study of Beijing from 1996 to 2007 was conducted to verify the evaluation system. Results showed that the grey relative closeness degrees of water resource security to the positive ideal solution were low, with the least one of 0.360 in 1999 and largest one of 0.527 in 2007, implying that Beijing was facing severer challenges with water resources during the concerned time. Also, the analysis of water resource security indicated that the pressure of water resource was constantly increasing. Finally, factor analysis was employed to calculate the grey relation degrees of evaluating indices with the ideal solutions so as to reveal the relativity of water resource security of Beijing, which may contribute to a better understanding of the urban water resource management and regulation.

In this paper,an improved mean-square exponential stability condition and delayed-state-feedback controller for stochastic Markovian jump systems with mode-dependent time-varying state delays are obtained. First,by constructing a modified Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional,a mean-square exponential stability condition for the above systems is presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Here,the decay rate can be a finite positive constant in a range and the derivative of time-varying delays is only required to have an upper bound which is not required to be less than 1. Then,based on the proposed stability condition,a delayed-state-feedback controller is designed. Finally,numerical examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.

This paper provides consensus analysis for networked continuous-time multi-agent systems via sampled control. The sampled control protocol is induced from a continuous-time consensus protocol by using periodic sampling technology and zero-order hold circuit. Meanwhile, time-varying delay that can be both smaller and larger than the sampling interval is taken into account. Based on graph theory and stability theory, a sufficient condition is proposed to guarantee the consensus achievement under the condition that communication channels suffer from time-varying delay. The main contribution of this paper is to provide a valid distributed consensus algorithm that explicitly describes which state information may be received in the concerning sampling interval. The results are illustrated by some simulations.

This paper investigates the problem of robust exponential admissibility for a class of continuous-time uncertain switched singular systems with interval time-varying delay. By defining a properly constructed decay-rate-dependent Lyapunov function and the average dwell time approach, a delay-range-dependent sufficient condition is derived for the nominal system to be regular, impulse free, and exponentially stable. This condition is also extended to uncertain case. The obtained results provide a solution to one of the basic problems in continuous-time switched singular time-delay systems, that is, to identify a switching signal for which the switched singular time-delay system is regular, impulse free, and exponentially stable. Numerical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the obtained results.

The conventional constrained least squares constant modulus algorithm (LSCMA) can suffer significant performance degradation in the presence of the slight mismatches between the actual and assumed signal steering vectors. In this paper, to combat the mismatches, a novel robust constrained LSCMA is proposed for implementing double constraints with Taylor-series expansion and Lagrange multipliers method, which is based on explicit modeling of uncertainties in the desired signal array response. The proposed robust constrained LSCMA provides an improved robustness against the signal steering vector mismatches, enhances the array system performance under random perturbations in sensor parameters and makes the mean output array SINR consistently close to the optimal one. Computer simulations demonstrate a visible performance gain of the proposed algorithm compared as linear constrained LSCMA algorithm.

Particularly, the stability and stabilization of Boolean (control) networks are reviewed. This paper presents an adaptive robust dynamic surface control (ARDSC) algorithm for the position control of DC torque motors which are modeled as third-order nonlinear systems with parametric and nonlinear uncertainties. Based on the dynamic surface control (DSC) approach, the "explosion of terms" problem in the normal adaptive robust control (ARC) is avoided, which enhances the practicability of the controller. Furthermore, besides theoretically proving that the tracking error is uniformly ultimate bounded or asymptotically converge to zero in presence of parametric uncertainties only, the true estimates of the unknown parameters are achieved by designing a novel adaptation law, which improves the system performance and can be used in system monitor and diagnosis on-line as byproducts. Finally, the comparative simulation results illustrate that the proposed algorithm is very effective.
