Study on Electromagnetic Exposure of High-Speed Railway Platform Staff Workers Induced by Contact Wires

The bodies of platform staff workers in high-speed railway stations absorb induction electric field when being exposed to the electric field environment of contact wires with 25 kV high-voltages. To analyze the safety of electromagnetic exposure of the station platform staff workers with different numbers of tracks, this paper establishes a model with 6 tracks, 2 platforms, and 4 staff workers on the platform simulating the actual situation. It then analyzes the distribution of induction electric field present in their human body tissues, which in the electric field environment is generated by the high voltages of the contact wires of 1 track, 3 tracks, 6 tracks, respectively. Calculation results show that the maximum induction electric field of staff worker on the platform with different track numbers appears at the scalp, and the electric field intensity levels in the skull and brain are relatively small. For example, on the two platforms with 6 tracks, the maximum induction electric field of the staff worker is found in the scalp, and the values are 58.86 times and 1688.52 times of those of the skull and brain, respectively. For the staff worker at the safety white line, the maximum induction electric field in a human central nervous system is 0.61 mV/m, which is far less than the basic limit of 100mV/m occupational exposure in the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) guidelines. With the increase in the number of tracks, the maximum induction electric field of the staff also increases correspondingly at the same position. Research results can provide data reference for the formulation of electromagnetic protection and standards for high-speed railway platform staff workers. © 2023, Electromagnetics Academy. To calculate the induced fields in the human body of the driver in an electric vehicle, the power cables of the electric vehicle are taken as the electromagnetic exposure source. The finite elements method is used to construct the electromagnetic environment model, which consists of the vehicle body, the power cables, and the driver body. The maximal values of the magnetic flux density inside the driver's trunk and head are 4.63 μT and 0.12 μT, respectively. The maximal induced electric field intensity values are 670 mV/m and 99.7 mV/m, respectively. All values are below the safety limits of the ICNIRP. The results show that the electromagnetic environment induced by the power cables is safe for the driver. The study could provide a reference for improving electromagnetic exposure standards for electric vehicles. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In this paper,an improved sag control strategy based on automatic SOC equalization is proposed to solve the problems of slow SOC equalization and excessive bus voltage fluctuation amplitude and offset caused by load and PV power variations in a stand-alone DC *** strategy includes primary and secondary *** them,the primary control suppresses the DC microgrid voltage fluctuation through the I and II section control,and the secondary control aims to correct the P-U curve of the energy storage system and the PV system,thus reducing the steady-state bus voltage *** simulation results demonstrate that the proposed control strategy effectively achieves SOC balancing and enhances the immunity of bus *** proposed strategy improves the voltage fluctuation suppression ability by approximately 39.4%and 43.1%under the PV power and load power fluctuation conditions,***,the steady-state deviation of the bus voltage,△U_(dc) is only 0.01–0.1 V,ensuring stable operation of the DC microgrid in fluctuating power environments.

With the development of urban rail transit and the installation of rigid catenary in low clearance tunnels during electrification renovations, the dynamic coupling of pantograph catenary in AC rigid contact network system has become a new hot topic. This article studies the coupling characteristics of the pantograph catenary under the operating conditions of dual pantographs. Equivalent AC rigid contact network to Euler Bernoulli beam based on beam theory, the pantograph model is established using three mass blocks, and the dual pantograph catenary model is established using penalty functions. The results show that under the operating condition of the AC rigid catenary, the train speed is inversely proportional to the span of the AC rigid catenary;Among the commonly used spans, a span of 8 or 10 m is suitable for train speeds below 80 km/h, while a span of 6 or 8 m is suitable for train speeds of 80–140 km/h. © 2024, Beijing Paike Culture Commu. With the large-scale construction and the requirement of speed increase of high-speed railway in China, non-crossing crossover has been widely used in high-speed railway catenary. In order to satisfy the requirements of smooth operation of the line, a model of No. 18 non-crossing crossover based on the whole running process is proposed. Based on the whole process of driving through No. 18 non-crossing crossover, the operating principle of No. 18 non-crossing crossover is introduced, the whole model of No. 18 non-crossing crossover composed of line center and contact line model is established, the process of driving through two special sections of No. 18 non-crossing crossover initial contact area and contour area is studied, the influence of special section on the model of no-crossing crossover is considered, and the special section model of No. 18 non-crossing crossover is established. Based on the laboratory platform, the software of No. 18 non-crossing crossover is developed, and the model is validated by using the measured data of high-speed field of Ningdong Station from Yinchuan to Zhongwei of Yinlan Passenger Dedicated. The calcu-lation results show that the proposed model has the characteristics of validity, accuracy and real-time, and is suitable to the calculation of No. 18 non-crossing crossover in various situations. © 2024, Beijing Paike Culture Commu. Research on Shielding and Electromagnetic Exposure Safety of an Electric Vehicle Wireless Charging Coil

To address the problems of large volume, heavy weight, and inconvenient installation of the shield board of a wireless charging coil (WCC) installed on the body of an electric vehicle (EV), a new shielding method is proposed in this paper. From the perspective of engineering practice, according to the principle of passive shielding, and in line with the vertical direction of WCC with ferromagnetic material shielding, this novel shielding method involves only a low permeability metal shielding ring set around the transmitting coil in the horizontal direction. Using the finite element simulation software COMSOL Multiphysics, the EV model, the magnetic coupling resonance (MCR) WCC model, and the pedestrian body model at the observation point are designed. The influence of the metal shielding ring on the self-inductance and mutual inductance of WCC is calculated. The magnetic induction strength (B) and electric field strength (E) of pedestrian body at observation points before and after adding a metal shielding in the horizontal direction are evaluated, and the electromagnetic exposure safety of a pedestrian body in this electromagnetic environment is analyzed. Compared with the shielding method of only adding ferromagnetic material in the vertical direction and after using new shielding, the maximum B of a human trunk is reduced by 43%, the maximum E reduced by 44%, the maximum B of human head reduced by 44%, and the maximum E reduced by 39%. After adding the metal shielding ring, the maximum B and E of human trunk decreased from 8.56 × 10−1 times and 2.28 × 10−1 times of the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) exposure limit to 4.89 × 10−1 times and 1.27 × 10−1 times, respectively, and the maximum B and E of human head decreased from 1.62 × 10−3 times and 8.58 × 10−4 times of the ICNIRP exposure limit to 9.18 × 10−4 and 5.25 × 10−4 times, respectively. This study proposes a target extraction algorithm for array GM-APD lidar based on hybrid domain features, designed to address the challenges of accurately extracting target region based on the image in complex scenes and high noise interference. We extracted the temporal features of the echo signals and transformed the echo signals into the image domain to enhance the information content and further extract image features. By integrating multi-view K-means clustering and AdaBoost classification methods, we introduced a dynamic weight adjustment mechanism and a region adjustment method based on a correlation coefficient to achieve pixel-type discrimination and target region extraction. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method exhibits good robustness and adaptability in complex detection environments. Under conditions of different occlusion, different signal-to-noise ratios, and different target reflectivity, the proposed algorithm significantly outperforms traditional region-growing segmentation methods in terms of accuracy of target region extraction. © 2025 SPIE.

To address the rapid energy depletion and short network lifespan in traditional clustering protocols for wireless sensor network (WSN), specifically the Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH), this paper introduces a collaborative LEACH protocol (C-LEACH). The proposed protocol refines the cluster head election threshold by incorporating the nodes' residual energy, neighbor count, and distance to the base station, optimizing the probability of a node being selected as a cluster head. Secondly, nodes compute the cost function by considering the cluster head's energy, the number of neighboring nodes, and the distance to them, ensuring an optimal and scientific selection of the cluster head. Finally, regarding the transmission method, the cluster head communicates with the base station through collaboration among individual cluster heads based on their distance from the base station, reducing the energy consumption of the cluster head. The results show that the C-LEACH protocol extending the network life cycle by 144.3% and 97.4% compared to LEACH and ILEACH, respectively, thereby reducing energy consumption and extending the network's operational time. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper describes a visual localization and map construction method based on ground texture. The ground texture is scanned twice in a zigzag pattern and divided into a grid to avoid distortion of the stitched image. A global optimization method is used to calculate the image pose by reprojection constraint and key frame selection to stitch the global map. For positioning, the global positioning is transformed into a local positioning process through global search and local optimization, which improves the speed and accuracy of positioning. For map updating, local optimization is performed by constructing loopbacks for possible stain occlusion or breakage problems to solve tracking loss and repositioning problems. Experimental results show that the ground texture stitching and localization results after global optimization match well with the true values, and the global maps constructed by stitching are aligned with the true physical locations. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2023.
