A disturbance observer based intelligent control for nonstrict-feedback nonlinear systems

Focusing on one class of nonlinear systems with input saturation,the adaptive fuzzy dynamic event-triggered control problem is successfully solved.A dynamic event-triggered mechanism is adopted to save the communication burden of the system,and is integrated into the controller design process based on the backstepping *** handling the asymmetric input saturation,an auxiliary system with the same order as the considered system is *** problems caused by unknown continuous functions are efficiently tackled by applying the approximation theory of fuzzy logic *** is proven that all the signals of the resulting closed-loop system are bounded via Lyapunov stability *** numerical and practical simulations are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.

The stabilization of the formamidinium lead iodide(FAPbI_(3))structure is pivotal for the development of efficient photovoltaic *** two-dimensional(2D)layers to passivate the threedimensional(3D)perovskite is essential for maintaining the a-phase of FAPbI_(3) and enhancing the power conversion efficiency(PCE)of perovskite solar cells(PSCs).However,the role of bulky ligands in the phase management of 2D perovskites,crucial for the stabilization of FAPbI_(3),has not yet been *** this study,we synthesized nanoscale 2D perovskite capping crusts with=1 and 2 Ruddlesden-Popper(RP)perovskite layers,respectively,which form a type-Ⅱ 2D/3D *** heterostructure stabilizes the a-phase of FAPbI_(3),and facilitates ultrafast carrier extraction from the 3D perovskite network to transport contact *** introduced tri-fluorinated ligands to mitigate defects caused by the halide vacancies and uncoordinated Pb^(2+)ions,thereby reducing nonradiative carrier recombination and extending carrier *** films produced were incorporated into PSCs that not only achieved a PCE of 25.39%but also maintained 95%of their initial efficiency after 2000 h of continuous light exposure without *** findings underscore the effectiveness of a phase-pure 2D/3D heterostructure-terminated film in inhibiting phase transitions passivating the iodide anion vacancy defects,facilitating the charge carrier extraction,and boosting the performance of optoelectronic devices.

Membrane distillation(MD)has gained extensive attention for treating highly saline ***,membrane scaling during the MD process has hindered the rapid development of this *** approaches to mitigate scaling in membrane distillation focus primarily on achieving enhanced hydrophobicity and even superhydrophobicity via utilizing fluorinated fibrous membrane or introducing perfluorosilane *** the environmental hazards posed by fluorinated compounds,it is highly desirable to develop non-fluorinated membranes with enhanced anti-scaling properties for effective membrane *** this study,we present a non-fluorinated liquid-like MD membrane with exceptional anti-scaling *** membrane was facilely fabricated by grafting linear polydimethylsiloxane(LPDMS)onto a hydrophilic polyether sulfone(PES)membrane pre-coated with the intermediate layers of polydopamine and silica(denoted as LPDMS-PES).Remarkably,LPDMS-PES manifested a drastically improved scaling resistance in continuous MD tests than its perfluorinated counterpart,i.e.,1H,1H,2H,2H-perfluorooctyltrichlorosilane-modified PES membrane(PFOS-PES),in both heterogeneous nucleation-dominated and crystal deposition-dominated scaling processes,despite the latter having a smaller surface ***-PES demonstrated a reduction of crystal accumulation of approximately 85%for Na Cl and 73%for Ca SO_(4) in the heterogeneous nucleation-dominated scaling process compared to ***,in the crystal deposition-dominated scaling process LPDMS-PES exhibited a reduction of about 70%in scale *** results explicitly evidenced the great potential of the liquid-like membrane to minimize scaling in membrane distillation by inhibiting both scale nucleation and adhesion onto the *** believe the findings of this study have important implications for the design of high-performance MD membranes,particularly in the quest for environmentally susta

Training machine learning models in virtual environments often fails to generalize effectively to real-world applications. The discrepancy between simulated and real environments results in suboptimal performance of the learned models. Various approaches have been proposed to address this"simulation-to-reality gap," including refining training images within simulations or randomizing virtual environments to narrow the disparity. A CycleGAN model is used to convert simulated images into real ones for correction, but this method remains task-agnostic and does not preserve task-specific information, which can negatively affect task performance. Critical features, particularly those directly related to the task, may be lost during translation, which can compromise task success. To address this issue, conditional information is introduced during the image transformation process to ensure that task-relevant features, such as location data, are retained. This method makes the transformation task-aware rather than task-agnostic. Additionally, skip connections are implemented to mitigate blurring in the generated images. The proposed method has been trained on a custom dataset from a laboratory environment and validated on a robotic arm. This approach significantly improves the accuracy of image conversion tasks and enhances the efficiency of sim-to-real image translation. © 2024 IEEE.

Non-intrusive Load Monitoring (NILM) represents a cost-efficient technological advancement in meticulously monitoring electricity consumption patterns. However, external noise interference in practical load identification poses challenges for accurate monitoring. To address this, a multi-task learning framework is proposed, concurrently tackling load identification and signal de-noising. To extract effective information from load signals, a novel feature representation called variational mode decomposition-instantaneous amplitude (VMD-IA) was introduced. To ensure optimal performance across the different tasks, a multi-gate mixture of expert architecture (MMOE) module is integrated into the proposed model. The proposed approach was evaluated on a self-collected load dataset, as well as public NILM datasets. The experimental results indicate that the proposed model outperforms state-of-the-art methods in all tasks. © 2024 IEEE.

Blind watermarking plays a significant role in copyright protection and information *** enhance the security of watermark image information,a dual encryption method is proposed,which combines block shuffling with Logistic chaos encryption using two sets of random numbers as *** dual encryption technique is applied to blind watermark images,utilizing a combination of discrete wavelet transform(DWT)and discrete cosine transform(DCT)as the embedding ***,the watermark image is divided into small blocks,which are shuffled and rearranged using one set of random numbers as the key,while recording the shuffling sequence of block ***,the shuffled blocks are reassembled into an image,and another set of random numbers is used as the key for Logistic chaos encryption,rendering the watermark image chaotically ***,a double DWT is applied to the carrier image,followed by a DCT,allowing the encrypted watermark image to be *** achieves the concealment of the blind *** results demonstrate that this method exhibits robustness,excellent invisibility,and secrecy.

Extended state observer(ESO) is a class of high-gain observers and plays a significant role in output feedback control theory for uncertain nonlinear systems. However, it faces a challenge in industrial applications when the output is corrupted by high-frequency measurement noise, which means the core parameter, referred to as bandwidth, cannot be too large. It faces a trade-off between convergence rate and noise suppression. In this paper, A new cascade finite-time nonlinear ESO(FTNESO) combining cascade structure and finite-time nonlinear observer, which provides extra degree of freedom to design the controller, is proposed to improve the estimation performance in the presence of measurement noise. Based on the proposed cascade FTESO, an active disturbance rejection control scheme(ADRC) is established, and the controller is applied to the nonlinear gas turbine model to show its effectiveness. © 2023, ICST Institute for Computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering.

Currently, design units manually design the computer interlocking upper machine interface in railway station signal layout diagrams and use AutoCAD software for drawing. In order to reduce the demand for manual operation, improve the reliability and accuracy of data, a computer interlocking upper machine interface image recognition method based on OpenCV is proposed. By quantifying the geometric characteristics of various types of signal equipment on the upper machine, this method can quickly and accurately extract the screen coordinates of signal equipment, enabling users to easily obtain an overview of the layout of signal devices in the station. © 2024 SPIE.

The level of industrial automation has gradually improved in recent years. Various industries gradually realize automatic welding through the combination of robot system and field equipment. To overcome the defects of traditional welding process, such as high labor costs, low safety, low welding efficiency, and unstable welding quality, a welding robot control system based on visual recognition technology is designed. The system includes three modules, namely visual module, control module and execution module. By Combining visual recognition technology, through the weld image feature measurement and processing method, the system can achieve functions such as weld image acquisition and recognition, weld feature point extraction, welding robot motion trajectory planning, and welding motion control. The system can make the welding quality and efficiency higher and is an automatic innovation of industrial welding technology. © 2023 ACM.
