Online social networks not only facilitate the dissemination of information, but also increase the risk of rumors. This paper focuses on studying the unidirectional spread of rumors from online social networks to offline environments. To describe the dynamic process of rumor spreading, we derive a unidirectional coupled network structure and mean-field equations. We illustrate the performance of rumor spreading under various scenarios using computer simulations. The simulations reveal that rumors in unidirectional coupled networks spread faster and wider than those in single layer networks. Furthermore, with the assistance of unidirectional links, rumors tend to persist for a longer duration and cause more severe damages.

To overcome the main drawbacks of global minimal for active contour models (L. D. Cohen and Ron Kimmel) that the contour is only extracted partially for low SNR images, Method of boundary extraction based on Schrödinger Equation is proposed. Our Method is based on computing the numerical solutions of initial value problem for second order nonlinear Schrödinger equation by using discrete Fourier Transformation. Schrödinger transformation of image is first given. We compute the probability P(b,a) that a particle moves from a point a to another point b according to I-Type Schrödinger transformation of image and obtain boundary of object by using quantum contour model.

Discrete Hartley transform (DHT) is an important tool in digital signal processing. In this paper, based on our previous work of performing DHT via linear sums of discrete moments, we have made development to eliminate multiplications in discrete Hartley transforms by performing appropriate bit operations and shift in binary system, which can be implemented by integer additions of fixed points. An efficient and regular systolic array is designed to implement it, and the complexity analysis is also given. Different to other fast Hartley transforms, our algorithm can deal with arbitrary length signals and get high precision. The approach is also applicable to multi-dimensional DHT and DHT inverses.

Convolution is an important and useful operation in the fields of digital signal processing. In this paper, based on the previous work of performing discrete Fourier transform (DFT) via linear sums of discrete moments, we have made development to eliminate multiplications in discrete Fourier transforms by performing appropriate bit operations and shift operations in binary system, which can be implemented by integer additions of fixed points; then using the convolution theorem with the DFT, we compute the convolution with two DFTs, a point-by-point product, and an inverse DFT. Our algorithm involves fewer multiplications and can deal with arbitrary length signals.

Purpose. To assess the recognitionpattern of dynamic action by visual prosthesis' wearers. Methods. Twenty volunteers (classified by gender and experience) were recruited to carried out action recognition test in simulated prosthetic vision. Twenty-three common dynamic actions video clips usually see in daily life were selected and formed the experimental action set which was divided into three parts including combined actions, simple actions and difficult actions in turn. The action animations made by 3D Studio Max were recorded by Banicam to convert to MP4 video format and processed to phosphene video clips by MATLAB in different resolutions (16 × 16, 24 × 24, 32 × 32, 48 × 48, 64 × 64, 128 × 128). Result. Comparing the recognition results, male group and female group had no significant difference. 48 × 48 resolution was the considerable latent capacity which subjects had stable performance. After a period of study, the performance of prosthesis wearers could be improved significantly.
