In this paper a new algorithm for global navigation satellite system attitude determination based on CSO (Chicken Swarm Optimization) was developed. A distinct feature of this algorithm is the new optimization. The traditional LAMBDA algorithm for integer ambiguity resolution is time-consuming due to the large search space and complex calculation, so the attitude determination time is longer correspondingly. The optimization algorithm without search space based on least squares proposed in this paper improves the efficiency of fixing the integer ambiguity and applied to solve attitude problems. In conclusion, it is proven to work, offering a very efficient method of attitude determination. © 2018 IEEE.

Focus on the problem that indoor location accuracy is generally low and various indoor location technologies are not widely used because some factors such as cost and accuracy. A data fusion method based on adaptive unscented Kalman filter (UKF) indoor location is proposed by analyzing the limitations of signal strength value (RSSI) fingerprint location, geomagnetic localization and inertial navigation location. The algorithm uses six-position error calibration method and Kalman filter to compensate the MEMS-SINS data, and establishes the correlation between location data and RSSI/geomagnetic data based on feature sorting vector fingerprint matching method. Finally, it is proposed to combine the adaptive factor with the unscented Kalman filter for data fusion, which improves the data stability and indoor location accuracy. The experimental results show that the adaptive UKF data fusion using MEMS-SINS/RSSI/geomagnetic data in the indoor environment can combine various advantages and achieve high-precision indoor location with an average absolute position error of 0.563m under the premise of low cost.

In order to solve the problem of ambiguous acquisition of BOC signals caused by its property of multiple peaks, an unambiguous acquisition algorithm is proposed in this paper. The concept of sub quadratic correlation function and sub QBOC code are first defined in this letter by analyzing the auto correlation and quadratic correlation of BOC(n,n).Then a new correlation function without multiple peaks can be obtained by a simple combination of subquadratic correlation, which can be used to unambiguous acquisition for BOC(n,n). The theoretical analysis and simulation prove that the proposed algorithm not only can accomplish un ambiguous acquisition but also have more effective de-ambiguity, higher capture sensitivity and higher peak to average power ratio compared to the classical BPSK-like, SPCP and ASPeCT algorithms.

With the development of the Beidou satellite navigation system, the monitoring of ionospheric scintillation combined with GPS and Beidou system has become a trend. In this paper, the design and implementation of the upper computer software for ionospheric scintillation monitoring are introduced, and the related algorithms such as ionospheric amplitude scintillation monitoring, ionospheric phase scintillation monitoring and ionospheric TEC monitoring are discussed and analyzed. The ionospheric scintillation monitoring system developed in this paper can calculate the ionospheric amplitude scintillation index and ionospheric phase scintillation index of the L1/L2 frequency point of GPS satellite and the B1/B2 frequency signal of Beidou satellite in real time. It can also calculate the ionospheric parameters such as TEC, σ TEC , ROT and ROTI of each satellite, and can store the observed data and make the judgement and analysis of ionospheric scintillation events. Finally, the functional test results of ionospheric scintillation monitoring system are given, and discussed and analyzed.

When using a singular value decomposition (SVD) algorithm to estimate the pseudo code sequence of shortcode direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) signals directly under impulse noise, the pseudo code information extracted by the algorithm will be seriously interfered, and the estimation performance will deteriorate obviously. In this paper, proposed is a pseudo code sequence blind estimation algorithm based on fractional low order(FLO) joint M estimation. Under the condition of known pseudo code rate and pseudo code period, the received signal is segmented by the size of double PN period, and the fractional low order matrix of the received signal is constructed by using this algorithm in order to reduce the noise component, and then the matrix is decomposed by the SVD algorithm. By taking the summation and subtraction operation between the absolute value of the principal component and its complement sets to estimate the position of the out-of-step point of the pseudo code. Finally, the blind estimation of a pseudo code sequence is realized. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can greatly improve the performance of pseudo code sequence blind estimation in an impulse noise channel. When the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is about -5 db, the accuracy of the]pseudo code estimation can be kept above 90%.

In this paper, the propagation characteristics of electromagnetic wave in a glow discharge plasma with dust particles are experimentally studied. A special discharge structure has successfully produced argon AC glow discharge plasma. Measurements of the plasma parameters using Langmuir probes, in the absence of the dust particles, give plasma densities n e ~5×10 16 m -3 and electron temperatures ranging from Te=2 to 4 eV. Dusty plasmas are made by suspending 30 nm radius aluminum oxide (Al2O3) particles in the argon plasma. Dust in the device have densities n d ~10 10 -10 11 m -3 . The propagation characteristics of electromagnetic wave are determined by vector network analyzer with antennas in 4-6 GHz. An apparent attenuation by the dust is observed, and the measured attenuation data are approximately in accordance with the curve of theory calculation. The results show that the charged dust particles play a significant role of the microwave attenuation. The effects of gas pressure and input power is investigated in the dusty plasma. The results show that the transmission attenuation increase with the increasing gas pressure and input power.

In the field of ocean remote sensing and detection, the normalized scattering cross-section (NRCS), an important statistical feature of sea surface, is usually employed to assess the severity of sea state. In high sea states, the sea surface wave becomes breaking and generating foam and spray which will affect the scattering characteristic of the sea surface. This study presents a modified NRCS model for sea surface, taking into account the impacts of wave breaking and foam. Firstly, the NRCS of the non-wave breaking sea surface area is calculated utilizing the two-scale method (TSM). Then, the NRCS of the sea surface encompassing the breaking wave and foam regions is determined by integrating the breaking wave NRCS semi-empirical model and vector radiative transfer (VRT) theory. Finally, the total NRCS of the sea surface containing breaking waves and foam is derived employing the white cap coverage rate. This model modifies the NRCS of a wind-driven rough sea surface composite model with breaking waves and a foam layer at a moderate incident angle. Based on the modified model, the NRCS of the sea surface for both horizontal polarization (HH-Pol) and vertical polarization (VV -Pol) are calculated at moderate incidence angles. The validity of the modified model is verified by comparing the Geophysical model function (GMF) results. The simulation results show that the effects of spray and foam on the NRCS of the sea surface cannot be ignored, especially for the results of HH-Pol. The proposed model provides a reference for the analysis of microwave backscattering characteristics of the sea surface in high sea states.

To understand the radar scattering characteristics from breaking wave based on field experiment measurement are of great benefit for ocean remote sensing and ocean target recognition. It is well known that waves originating from deep water tend to break near the shore due to the shallowness of the water. In this study, breaking waves caused by shallow water depth near shore were used to investigate the radar scattering mechanisms associated with wave breaking. An Ultra-wideband radar C-band radar backscatter measurements was conducted at incident angles ranging from 20° to 60° with both horizontal polarization (HH-Pol) and vertical polarization (VV-Pol). Our research encompassed the investigation of normalized radar cross section (NRCS), and the Doppler characteristics of breaking waves. The experimental results indicated a substantial increase in radar returns, and the HH-to-VV polarization ratio approached unity near the breaking crests. In addition, the frequency shift and the band width of the Doppler spectrum of the scattered fields from breaking waves are both increasing. And the Doppler spectrum have multiple spectral peaks due to the stronger scattering intensity and higher velocity of the breaking waves.

The broadband microwave propagating characteristics of a novel, large volume, glow-discharge argon plasma is reported in this paper. A large volume, glow-discharge argon plasma was designed and the basic plasma parameters were determined using an Impedans Ltd. Langmuir probe under a variety of conditions. The transmission attenuation was recorded by using S parameters of a vector network analyzer with the frequency range from 2GHz to 18GHz and a propagation model was established using the Z transform FDTD method for simulating the attenuation of microwave. The effects of both the gas pressure and input power on the EM wave propagation are analyzed. The results showed that the theoretical and experimental results of transmission attenuation were in good agreement. Moreover, the electron density n e and the effective collision rate v c were found to play important roles in the propagation of microwave.
