Autonomous vehicles in mining areas undertake substantial production tasks and are prone to various faults during operation. Early detection of abnormalities, along with timely fault warnings and diagnoses, can enhance transportation safety and increase vehicle turnout rates. This study utilizes driving data from autonomous vehicles in mining areas and considers the characteristics of unstructured road scenes. The driving area is segmented into distinct intervals, and Kullback-Leibler (KL) divergence is applied within each interval to detect anomalies in the vehicle's lateral deviation during operation. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves an anomaly detection accuracy of 91.4%, with a false negative rate of 8.3% and a false positive rate of 8.7%. © 2024 IEEE.

Different amounts of La_(2)O_(3)were added to ZK60 alloy to observe the changes in microstructure and mechanical properties of ZK60-XLa_(2)O_(3)(X=0,0.2 wt%,0.5 wt%)*** findings reveal that within the as-cast ZK60 alloy,the Mg-Zn binary phase is manifested as rod-shaped precipitates,exhibiting a dispersed distribution predominantly along the grain boundary *** the increase of La_(2)O_(3)addition,the rod-like Mg-Zn binary phases are gradually replaced by Mg-Zn-La ternary phases,and these Mg-Zn-La ternary phases are semi-continuously distributed around the grain *** ZK602 and ZK605 alloys result in a corresponding improvement in ductility after *** is noteworthy that the ductility of the as-extruded ZK605 alloy is increased by 59.4%compared to ZK60 at the expense of a reduction of only 3.9%in yield *** together,the significant increase in ductility of ZK605 is mainly due to the weakening of the basal texture,which is weakened by the redox reaction of La_(2)O_(3)with the a-Mg matrix,generating the La *** decrease in yield strength of ZK605 in the extruded state is closely related to the observed grain coarsening phenomenon and the basal texture *** the same time,the ultimate tensile strength of ZK605 shows a slight increase,which is mainly due to the second phase *** Mg-Zn-La ternary phase exhibits a notably hard character,and it is evident that the distribution of this phase becomes progressively denser as the La_(2)O_(3)content increases.

Alternative polyadenylation(APA)is a post-transcriptional process that typically determines the length of mature mRNAs'3'untranslated region(3'UTR).The global shortened 3'UTR alters mRNA stability,localization,and translation and contributes to cancer progression.1 The APA characteristics and its effects on acute myeloid leukemia(AML)remain to be comprehensively ***,we identified churchill domain containing 1(CHURC1)as an upregulated gene with a lengthened 3'UTR in CD34+enriched AML cells compared with healthy hematopoietic stem and progenitor *** for APA regulation of CHURC1,we found that rs6745 and RNA binding protein TIA1 potentially contribute to the distal poly(A)site usage in cis-and transways,***,a lengthened CHURC13'UTR affected the apoptosis of AML cells by disrupting the expression of DICER1 by sponging *** chemotherapeutic sensitivity of 8 drugs was associated with CHURC1 poly(A)site ***,our analysis indicated a previously undetected gene,CHURC1,that affected AML progression through 3'UTR length change resulting from *** collection and detailed analysis methods were described in the supplementary material.

Experimental deformation of shales at elevated temperature and pressure:Pore-crack system evolution and its effects on shale gas reservoirs

Although many studies based on naturally deformed samples have been carried out to investigate the pore-crack characteristics of shales,studies based on high temperature(T)and high pressure(P)deformation experiments,which can exclude sample heterogeneity factors,simulate deep T-P conditions,and generate a continuous deformation sequence,are still *** this study,shales with different deformation levels are generated by triaxial compression experiments,and methods including scanning electron microscopy,mercury injection,and gas sorption are utilized to characterize their influence factors and pore-crack *** indicate that T is the primary factor influencing shale deformation when P is low,while P is dominant under high P *** T<90℃ and P<60 MPa,shales undergo brittle deformation and their macropores decrease due to the compaction of primary pores,while mesopores increase because of the interconnection of *** 90℃200℃ and P>110 MPa,shales are subjected to ductile deformation,and their micro-and mesopores drop significantly due to the intense compaction in the matrix while macropores continuously increase with crack *** permeability of shale increases with the degree of deformation and ductile material contents are predicted to be a key factor determining whether open microcracks can be preserved after ductile *** account for these experimental results,an ideal model of micro pore-crack system evolution in deformed shales is further proposed,which can provide guidance for the exploration of shale gas resources in the deep or structurally complex zones.

Low PAPR FBMC-OQAM system Based on Data Mapping and DFT Spreading

Filter bank multicarrier with offset quadrature amplitude modulation (FBMC-OQAM) is considered as a promising waveform for Internet of Things (IoT) due to its capability to mitigate interference among asynchronous users. However, as a multicarrier technique, the FBMC-OQAM signal also has a high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR), which is detrimental to low-power transmission. To address this issue, this paper proposes a novel discrete Fourier transform (DFT)-spread scheme to exhaustively reduce the PAPR of the FBMC-OQAM signal. In this scheme, the transmitting data symbols are first mapped with a conjugate symmetry rule and then coded by the DFT. Using this method, the preprocessing step in FBMC-OQAM that involves separating the real and imaginary parts of the quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) symbols can be avoided. Compared with existing DFT-spread FBMC-OQAM schemes, the proposed scheme demonstrates better PAPR performance while maintaining equivalent spectral efficiency. Additionally, the computational complexity of the proposed scheme experiences only a slight increase, thereby preserving a relatively low computational burden. Numerical simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme. Furthermore, the effect of the prototype filter on the PAPR is investigated, and a trade-off exists between the PAPR and out-of-band performance. © 2014 IEEE.

High-efficiency mode group demultiplexing based on diffractive optical network

Space division multiplexing (SDM) can achieve higher communication transmission capacity by exploiting more spatial channels in a single optical fiber. For weakly coupled few-mode fiber, different mode groups (MGs) are highly isolated from each other, so the SDM system can be simplified by utilizing MG multiplexing and intensity modulation direct detection. A key issue to be addressed here is MG demultiplexing, which requires processing all the modes within a single MG in contrast to MG multiplexing. Benefiting from the great light manipulation freedom of the diffractive optical network (DON), we achieve efficient separation of the MGs and receive them with the multimode fiber (MMF) array. To fully exploit the mode field freedom of the MMF, a non-deterministic mode conversion strategy is proposed here to optimize the DON, which enables high-efficiency demultiplexing with a much smaller number of phase plates. As a validation, we design a 6-MG demultiplexer consisting of only five phase plates; each MG is constituted by several orbital angular momentum modes. The designed average loss and crosstalk at the wavelength of 1550 nm are 0.5 dB and-25 dB, respectively. In the experiment, the loss after coupling to the MMF ranged from 4.1 to 4.9 dB, with an average of 4.5 dB. The inter-MG crosstalk is better than-12 dB, with an average of-18 dB. These results well support the proposed scheme and will provide a practical solution to the MG demultiplexing problem in a short-distance SDM system.

Two-dimensional (2D) multiferroic materials have widespread application prospects in facilitating the integration and miniaturization of nanodevices. However, the magnetic, ferroelectric, and ferrovalley properties in one 2D material are rarely coupled. Here, we propose a mechanism for manipulating magnetism, ferroelectric, and valley polarization by interlayer sliding in a 2D bilayer material. Monolayer GdI2 is a ferromagnetic semiconductor with a valley polarization of up to 155.5 meV. More interestingly, the magnetism and valley polarization of bilayer GdI2 can be strongly coupled by sliding ferroelectricity, making these tunable and reversible. In addition, we uncover the microscopic mechanism of the magnetic phase transition by a spin Hamiltonian and electron hopping between layers. Our findings offer a new direction for investigating 2D multiferroic devices with implications for next-generation electronic, valleytronic, and spintronic devices.

Dear Editor,This letter proposes a high-precision seafloor transponder positioning method based on the correction of sound speed profile(SSP)temporal *** the proposed method,the ocean sound speed error is modeled as the temporal variation of a background SSP,and the linearized expression of the acoustic travel time with respect to the sound speed coefficient is derived based on the ray acoustic ***,the proposed method introduces the constraint of acoustic ranging observations between seafloor transponders and determines the weights of travel time and ranging observations using Akaike’s Bayesian information criterion(ABIC)to reduce the positioning error caused by the correlation between sound speed and position *** experimental results in the South China Sea show that the proposed method performs better than the global navigation satellite system-acoustic ranging combined positioning solver(GARPOS)[1],in terms of rigid distance errors and long baseline positioning accuracy.

It is highly desirable to design efficient and stable hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and oxygen evolution/reduction reaction(OER/ORR)electrocatalysts for the development of renewable energy ***,density functional theory(DFT)calculations were conducted to systematically investigate a series of TMN_(x)O_(4-x)-HTT(TM=Fe,Co,Ni,Ru,Rh,Pd,Ir and Pt;HTT=hexahydroxy tetraazanaphthotetraphene)analogs of two-dimensional(2D)conductive metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)as potential electrocatalysts for the HER,OER and *** thermodynamic and electrochemical stability simulations suggest that these designed catalysts are ***,CoO_(4)-HTT,RhN_(3)O_(1)-HTT and IrN3O1-HTT are predicted to be the most promising catalysts for the HER,OER and ORR,respectively,surpassing the catalytic activity of corresponding benchmark *** volcano plots were established based on the scaling relationship of adsorption Gibbs free energy of *** results reveal that regulating combinations of metal active centers and local coordination environments could effectively balance the interaction strength between intermediates and catalysts,thus achieving optimal catalytic *** findings not only opt for the promising HER/OER/ORR electrocatalysts but also guide the design of efficient electrocatalysts based on 2D MOFs materials.

Structural characteristics of electrohydrodynamic jets induced by a blade-plane actuator subjected to highly non-uniform electric fields:Parametric investigation through the particle image velocimetry techniques

This study set out to systematically investigate the structural characteristics of plane electrohydrodynamic jets through the particle image velocimetry(PIV)*** to the wide range of applied voltages and electrode gaps under various experimental conditions,an assessment of the image quality and a statistical analysis of the velocity fields are first performed to ensure the validity of the PIV measurements,which were originally applied purely to fluid *** results indicate that the time interval between two consecutive images should be pre-adjusted to reduce the number of uncorrelated vector ***,the minimum number of instantaneous fields should be achieved for an accurate calculation of the time-averaged *** equivalent electric field criterion adapted to the asymmetric electrode configuration is defined to find similarities in flow structures under different voltage and electrode gap *** the applied electric field increases,three injection regimes are identified and the current increases almost linearly,indicating a large conduction current *** decrease in charge density due to recombination proves to be relevant in all cases of this *** to the parametric analysis approach for classical jets and thermal plumes,the evolution of the coefficients of axial velocity,half-width and turbulence intensity are investigated.
