Nitrogen-vacancy(NV)quantum defects in diamond are sensitive detectors of magnetic *** rapid development of NV-center magnetic sensor has higher requirements for high-speed and high-precision data acquisition,weak signal detection and ***,the existing sensing technologies based on diamond NV centers rely on bulky and expensive instruments,which must be replaced by a more compact *** we combine NV quantum sensing technology with integrated circuit technology to create a compact and easy-to-operate platform,which includes microwave source module,transistor-transistor logic(TTL)modulation module,digital lock-in amplifier(DLIA)module,*** order to confirm the reliability of the experimental platform,we not only tested the performance of each individual module,but also carried out optical detection magnetic resonance(ODMR)*** this platform,we can obtain a magnetic sensitivity of 465 nT/Hz^(1/2).This experimental platform with convenient operation and low noise has the potential to become an independent magnetic measuring instrument.

Uncertainty-aware Superpoint Graph Transformer for Weakly Supervised 3D Semantic Segmentation

Weakly supervised 3D semantic segmentation has successfully mitigated the labor-intensive and time-consuming task of annotating 3D point clouds. However, reliably utilizing the minimal point-wise annotations for unlabeled data in complex and large-scale scenes is still challenging, such as only 20 points labeled in 2 million points. To tackle this challenge, we propose a new Uncertainty-aware Superpoint Graph Transformer (UaSGT) framework that utilizes minimal annotations for unlabeled data learning through reliable long-range supervision propagation from labeled superpoints to unlabeled superpoints. First, we propose a superpoint graph transformer to achieve long-range supervision propagation along the attention-based fuzzy subsets defined on superpoints. The attention-based fuzzy subset measures the membership of unlabeled superpoints to clusters centered on labeled superpoints. Second, we employ an uncertainty-aware membership rectification technique on the fuzzy subset to ensure reliable propagation among superpoints within the same category. This technique integrates an uncertainty prediction module to mask the influence of unreliable membership and a spatial prior refinement module to reduce uncertainty in intra-class membership degrees. Finally, experimental results on two large-scale benchmarks S3DIS and ScanNet-V2 demonstrate the superiority of our approach compared to the state-of-the-art with at least 90% annotation reduction, and our method also achieves comparable performance to fully supervised methods with less than 0.1% labeled points. High-performance field-effect transistors (FETs) based on atomically thin two-dimensional (2D) semiconductors have demonstrated great promise in post-Moore integrated circuits. However, unipolar p-type 2D semiconductor transistors yet remain challenging and suffer from low saturation current density (less than 10 µA·µm^(−1)) and high contact resistance (larger than 100 kΩ·µm), mainly limited by the Schottky barrier induced by the mismatch of the work-functions and the Fermi level pinning at the metal contact interfaces. Here, we overcome these two obstacles through van der Waals (vdW) integration of high work-function metal palladium (Pd) as the contacts onto monolayer WSe2 grown by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method. We demonstrate unipolar p-type monolayer WSe2 FETs with superior device performance: room temperature on-state current density exceeding 100 µA·µm^(−1), contact resistance of 12 kΩ·µm, on/off ratio over 107, and field-effect hole mobility of ~ 103 cm2·V^(−1)·s^(−1). Electrical transport measurements reveal that the Fermi level pinning effect is completely effectively eliminated in monolayer WSe2 with vdW Pd contacts, leading to a Schottky barrier-free Ohmic contact at the metal-semiconductor junctions. Combining the advantages of large-scale vdW contact strategy and CVD growth, our results pave the way for wafer-scale fabrication of complementary-metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) logic circuits based on atomically thin 2D semiconductors.

The simultaneous detection of multiple stimuli,such as pressure and temperature,has long been a persistent challenge for developing electronic skin(eskin)to emulate the functionality of human ***,the demand for integrated power supply units is an additional pressing concern to achieve its lightweightness and ***,we propose a self-powered dual temperature–pressure(SPDM)sensor,which utilizes a compressible ionic gel electrolyte driven by the potential difference between MXene and Al *** SPDM sensor exhibits a rapid and timely response to changes in pressure-induced deformation,while exhibiting a slow and hysteretic response to temperature *** distinct response characteristics enable the differentiation of current signals generated by different stimuli through machine learning,resulting in an impressive accuracy rate of 99.1%.Furthermore,the developed SPDM sensor exhibits a wide pressure detection range of 0–800 kPa and a broad temperature detection range of 5–75C,encompassing the environmental conditions encountered in daily human *** dual-mode coupled strategy by machine learning provides an effective approach for temperature and pressure detection and discrimination,showcasing its potential applications in wearable electronics,intelligent robots,human–machine interactions,and so on.

Toward Analytical Homogenized Relaxation Modulus for Fibrous Composite Material with Reduced Order Homogenization Method

In this manuscript,we propose an analytical equivalent linear viscoelastic constitutive model for fiber-reinforced composites,bypassing general computational *** method is based on the reduced-order homogenization(ROH)*** ROH method typically involves solving multiple finite element problems under periodic conditions to evaluate elastic strain and eigenstrain influence functions in an‘off-line’stage,which offers substantial cost savings compared to direct computational homogenization *** to the unique structure of the fibrous unit cell,“off-line”stage calculation can be eliminated by influence functions obtained *** the standard solid model to the ROH method enables the creation of a comprehensive analytical homogeneous viscoelastic constitutive *** method treats fibrous composite materials as homogeneous,anisotropic viscoelastic materials,significantly reducing computational time due to its analytical *** approach also enables precise determination of a homogenized anisotropic relaxation modulus and accurate capture of various viscoelastic responses under different loading *** sets of numerical examples,including unit cell tests,three-point beam bending tests,and torsion tests,are given to demonstrate the predictive performance of the homogenized viscoelastic ***,the model is validated against experimental measurements,confirming its accuracy and reliability.

Microwave heating entails the interaction of multiple, interconnected physical fields. Traditional numerical methods cannot directly compute the temperature distribution of materials during microwave heating. This paper analyzes two calculation methods: the explicit Euler difference method and the Crank-Nicolson difference method. The performance of these two methods in simulating the temperature distribution of deionized water under microwave heating is compared. Through simulation experiments, it is demonstrated that both methods yield results within a high accuracy range. The explicit Euler difference method has slightly lower computational accuracy but is simple and fast, while the Crank-Nicolson difference method offers higher precision at the expense of greater computational complexity. Depending on specific requirements, the suitable method can be selected to simulate the microwave heating process, thereby supporting the application of this technology. © 2024 IEEE.

Ground-state cooling of the mechanical degree of freedom is a fundamental requirement for quantum state transfer between relevant optical and mechanical ***,we fabricate optomechanical crystal cavities with co-localized mechanical and optical modes on a monolithic *** typical linewidth of the optical modes at telecom wavelength is as low as 0.95 GHz,and the mechanical resonant frequency is around 5 GHz,which means the optomechanical system can be operated in the resolved sideband *** the statistics of the asymmetry in the scattering rates of red and blue detuning driving processes,we initialize and characterize the mechanical system in its quantum ground-state of motion,with a mean thermal phonon occupancy nth=0.018±0.0034,corresponding to a mode temperature of 57.3 m *** is a general platform for quantum state transfer between relevant optical and mechanical systems,as well as the quantum entanglement between these systems.

In the new wave of technological development, autonomous driving technologies have become the top priority of the innovation of future transportation. Although many technologies are involved in autonomous driving, it is an autonomous mobile robot in essence, mainly including three parts: perception, positioning, and decision-making. Ensuring its security is one key challenge to realize its widespread applications. Therefore, it is necessary to systematically consider security issues of autonomous driving from the sensor level, the autonomous driving system level, and the underlying communication protocol level. In this thesis, we built an automatic driving platform on the ROS system based on the existing hardware infrastructure - - SiLaR, a landrover of the Simplexity Lab. Furthermore, we analyzed security issues of each module of SiLaR. Especially in the process of map construction, due to the limitation of the working principle of LiDAR, some specular reflective materials in the operating environment will interfere with the construction. We also used the sensor cross fusion to calibrate the environmental information through the depth camera during the composition process to ensure the accuracy of map construction. © 2024 IEEE.

Amid the rise of mobile technologies and Location-Based Social Networks (LBSNs), there’s an escalating demand for personalized Point-of-Interest (POI) recommendations. Especially pivotal in smart cities, these systems aim to enhance user experiences by offering location recommendations tailored to past check-ins and visited POIs. Distinguishing itself from traditional POI recommendations, the next POI approach emphasizes predicting the immediate subsequent location, factoring in both geographical attributes and temporal patterns. This approach, while promising, faces with challenges like capturing evolving user preferences and navigating data biases. The introduction of Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) brings forth a transformative solution, particularly in their ability to capture high-order dependencies between POIs, understanding deeper relationships and patterns beyond immediate connections. This survey presents a comprehensive exploration of GNN-based next POI recommendation approaches, delving into their unique characteristics, inherent challenges, and potential avenues for future research. © The Author(s) 2024.
