The development of multifunctional materials and synergistic applications of various functions are important conditions for integrated and miniaturized ***,we developed asymmetric MXene/aramid nanofibers/polyimides(AMAP)aerogels with different modules using an integrated molding *** asymmetric modules(layered MXene/aramid nanofibers section and porous MXene/aramid nanofibers/polyimides section)interactions are beneficial for enhanced performances,resulting in low reflection electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding(specific shielding effectiveness of 2483(dB·cm^(3))/g and a low R-value of 0.0138),high-efficiency infrared radiation(IR)stealth(ultra-low thermal conductivity of 0.045 W/(m·K)and IR emissivity of 0.32 at 3–5μm and 0.28 at 8–14μm),and excellent thermal management performances of insulated Joule ***,these multifunctional AMAP aerogels are suitable for various application scenarios such as personal and building protection against electromagnetic pollution and cold,as well as military equipment protection against infrared detection and EMI.

In this study,we analyzed the performance of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)-based mixed Underwater Power Line Communication-Radio Frequency(UPLC-RF)*** this network,a buoy located at the sea is used as a relay to transmit signals from the underwater signal source to the UAV through the PLC *** assume that the UPLC channel obeys a log-normal distribution and that the RF link follows the Rician *** this model,we obtained the closed-form expressions for the Outage Probability(OP),Average Bit-error-rate(ABER),and Average Channel Capacity(ACC).In addition,the asymptotic analysis of the OP and ABER was performed,and an upper bound for the average capacity was ***,the analytical results were verified by Monte Carlo simulation thereby demonstrating the effect of impulse noise and the altitude of the UAV on network performance.

In the field of tomato disease spot detection, despite significant advancements in convolutional neural network technology, challenges still persist in detecting small-sized tomato disease spots. This study aims to enhance the tomato disease spot detection model to improve the accuracy of detecting small disease spots on tomatoes. Firstly, the concept of DenseNet is introduced, and a Dense_C3 module is constructed, which incorporates two 3×3 convolutional layers within the Bottleneck of C3 to achieve dense feature propagation and reuse. Secondly, the Convolutional Block Attention Module (CBAM) is employed to weight the feature maps, enhancing the focus on local and spatial information to enhance model accuracy. To validate the effectiveness of the proposed improvements, experiments were conducted on tomato disease spots of different scales, including Septoria Leaf Spot, Early Blight, Late Blight, and Tomato Yellow Leaf Curl Virus. The experimental results demonstrate that the introduction of the Dense_C3 structure and CBAM improves the detection accuracy for small-scale targets. In a comprehensive evaluation, the improved YOLOv5s model shows increases of 2.4% in F1 score and 2.1% in mAP. © 2024 SPIE.

Artificial intelligence (AI) techniques are increasingly being used for the inverse design of microwave devices. However, several challenges, including intensive computation costs for training samples, high-dimensional data, nonuniformity, and low-quality samples in the design space, can negatively impact the final modeling performance. To alleviate these issues, a high-quality sampling inverse design scheme incorporating wavelet transform deep learning (HQS-WTDL) is proposed to achieve customized, automated microwave filter design. In the forward simulation-based sampling, particle swarm optimization (PSO) is used to tentatively select rule-defined samples. Multilabel synthetic minority over-sampling technique (MLSMOTE) is then applied to enlarge the training samples and improve their uniformity in the design space. An inverse modeling approach using neural networks to map the nonlinear relationship between a given set of S-parameters and required filter structural parameters is presented. Given that the dimension of the S-parameters is much higher than that of the structure parameters, the corresponding neural network used in this approach is deep and complex, with multiple layers and neurons. To reduce the number of input variables, the S-parameters are subjected to wavelet transformation, allowing for more efficient representation by the neural network. The proposed method is validated using a band-pass microstrip hairpin filter as an example. Results demonstrate that the proposed approach achieves better modeling effectiveness and inverse design efficiency than conventional methods. In addition, the proposed method allows for fast customization of device parameters, such as center frequencies and bandwidths with good prediction accuracy. © 1982-2012 IEEE.

Performance-Optimize Adaptive Robust Tracking Control for USV-UAV Heterogeneous systems With Uncertainty

This paper investigates the performance-optimized tracking control problem of the heterogeneous system consisting of the unmanned surface vehicle (USV) and the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) under uncertain dynamics. Based on the target tracking strategy, a performance optimization control framework for cooperative tracking in sea-air 3D space is established. To avoid the singularity of the UAV in the position loop inverse solution of the desired attitude, the saturation control strategy is designed to solve the UAV guidance problem, and the UAV position loop obtains bounded thrust. For the kinematic layer of the USV-UAV system, based on the prescribed performance control and optimal control methods, a prescribed performance-optimized control strategy is designed to optimize the virtual control input while ensuring the prescribed control performance. In addition, to reduce the impact of uncertainty on the USV-UAV control system, a prescribed performance compensation control scheme is proposed in the kinetic loop, which improves the USV-UAV control system robustness. The established sea-air 3D cooperative target tracking control framework can also be extended to complex formation control. Finally, experimental simulations verify the effectiveness of the designed control scheme. © 1967-2012 IEEE.

Insight into the effect of gel drying temperature on the structure and desulfurization performance of ZnO/SiO_(2)adsorbents

A series of ZnO/SiO_(2) adsorbents were prepared by a sol-gel method using tetraethyl orthosilicate,ethylene glycol(EG)and nitrates as *** effect of gel drying temperature on the structure and desulfurization performance of the adsorbents were investigated in *** is found that the low drying temperature led to a weak interaction among EG,Si AOH/H_(2)O and the nitrates in the gel system,which caused the oxidation of EG by NO3-and formed zinc glyoxylate complex during the gel calcination process,whereas this oxidation process also occurred at a high drying temperature during the gel drying *** formed zinc glyoxylate complex promoted the generation of monodentate carbonate on the surface of Zn O,which resulted in the inferior desulfurization performance of adsorbents despite they have smaller Zn O *** gel dried at 120°C formed the hydrogen bonds between EG and Si AOH/H_(2)O and a strong interaction between zinc oxo-clusters and NO3-was also found in the gel system,which avoided the oxidation of EG by NO3-during the preparation process and the Zn O nanoparticles with sizes of 6 nm were formed by a combustion *** adsorbent affords a highest sulfur capacity of 104.9 mg·g^(-1) in this *** addition,the gel drying temperature has a significant influence on the textural properties of the adsorbents except their surface area.
