Self-supervised graph learning with target-adaptive masking for session-based recommendation

Session-based recommendation aims to predict the next item based on a user’s limited interactions within a short *** approaches use mainly recurrent neural networks(RNNs)or graph neural networks(GNNs)to model the sequential patterns or the transition relationships between ***,such models either ignore the over-smoothing issue of GNNs,or directly use cross-entropy loss with a softmax layer for model optimization,which easily results in the over-fitting *** tackle the above issues,we propose a self-supervised graph learning with target-adaptive masking(SGL-TM)***,we first construct a global graph based on all involved sessions and subsequently capture the self-supervised signals from the global connections between items,which helps supervise the model in generating accurate representations of items in the ongoing *** that,we calculate the main supervised loss by comparing the ground truth with the predicted scores of items adjusted by our designed target-adaptive masking ***,we combine the main supervised component with the auxiliary self-supervision module to obtain the final loss for optimizing the model *** experimental results from two benchmark datasets,Gowalla and Diginetica,indicate that SGL-TM can outperform state-of-the-art baselines in terms of Recall@20 and MRR@20,especially in short sessions.

Integrated sensor combines multiple sensor functions into a single unit,which has the advantages of miniaturization and better application ***,limited by the sensing platforms of the sensor and the selectivity of the sensitive film,there are still challenges to realize multi-component gas detection in one ***,a principle integration method is proposed to achieve the multi-component gas detection based on the acoustics-electricity-mechanics coupling *** electrical and mechanical properties of the Bi_(2)S_(3)nanobelts materials in different atmospheres indicate the possibility of realizing the principle *** the same time,the surface acoustic wave(SAW)sensor as a multivariable physical transducer can sense both electrical and mechanical *** exposure to 10 ppm NO_(2),NH_(3),and their mixtures,the integrated SAW gas sensor shows a 4.5 kHz positive frequency shift(acoustoelectric effect),an 11 kHz negative frequency shift(mechanics effects),and a reduced 4 kHz negative frequency shift(acoustics-electricity-mechanics coupling effect),***,we realize wireless passive detection of NO_(2)and NH_(3)based on the SAW *** work provides valuable insights that can serve as a guide to the design and fabrication of single sensors offering multi-component gas detection via different gas sensing mechanisms.

Circuit sensitivity of sensors or tags without battery is one practical constraint for ambient backscatter communication *** letter considers using beamforming to reduce the sensitivity constraint and evaluates the corresponding performance in terms of the tag activation distance and the system ***,we derive the activation probabilities of the tag in the case of single-antenna and multi-antenna ***,we obtain the capacity expressions for the ambient backscatter communication system with beamforming and illustrate the power allocation that maximizes the system capacity when the tag is ***,simulation results are provided to corroborate our proposed studies.

Dynamic motion of quadrupedal robots on challenging terrain:a kinodynamic optimization approach

The dynamic motion of quadrupedal robots on challenging terrain generally requires elaborate spatial–temporal kinodynamic motion planning and accurate control at higher refresh rate in comparison with regular ***,conventional quadrupedal robots usually generate relatively coarse planning and employ motion replanning or reactive strategies to handle terrain *** resultant complex and computation-intensive controller may lead to nonoptimal motions or the breaking of locomotion *** this paper,a kinodynamic optimization approach is *** generate long-horizon optimal predictions of the kinematic and dynamic behavior of the quadruped robot on challenging terrain,we formulate motion planning as an optimization problem;jointly treat the foot’s locations,contact forces,and torso motions as decision variables;combine smooth motion and minimal energy consumption as the objective function;and explicitly represent feasible foothold region and friction constraints based on terrain *** track the generated motions accurately and stably,we employ a whole-body controller to compute reference position and velocity commands,which are fed forward to joint controllers of the robot’s *** verify the effectiveness of the developed approach through simulation and on a physical quadruped robot *** show that the quadruped robot can successfully traverse a 30°slope and 43% of nominal leg length high step while maintaining the rhythm of dynamic trot gait.

This study focuses on the spatiotemporal distribution,urban-rural variations,and driving factors of ammonia Vertical Column Densities(VCDs)in China’s Yangtze River Delta region(YRD)from 2008 to *** data from the Infrared Atmospheric Sounding Interfer-ometer(IASI),Generalized Additive Models(GAM),and the GEOS-Chem chemical transport model,we observed a significant increase of NH_(3)VCDs in the YRD between 2014 and *** spatial distribution analysis revealed higher NH_(3)concentrations in the northern part of the YRD region,primarily due to lower precipitation,alkaline soil,and intensive agricul-tural ***_(3)VCDs in the YRD region increased significantly(65.18%)from 2008 to *** highest growth rate occurs in the summer,with an annual average growth rate of 7.2%during the period from 2014 to *** emissions dominated NH_(3)VCDs during spring and summer,with high concentrations primarily located in the agricultural areas adjacent to densely populated urban *** within several large urban areas have been discovered to exhibit relatively stable variations in NH_(3)*** rise in NH_(3)VCDs within the YRD region was primarily driven by the reduction of acidic gases like SO_(2),as emphasized by GAM modeling and sensitivity tests using the GEOS-Chem *** concentration changes of acidic gases contribute to over 80%of the interannual variations in NH_(3)*** emphasizes the crucial role of environmental policies targeting the reduction of these acidic *** emission control is urgent tomitigate environmental hazards and secondary particulate matter,especially in the northern YRD.

Automatically generating a brief summary for legal-related public opinion news(LPO-news,which contains legal words or phrases)plays an important role in rapid and effective public opinion *** LPO-news,the critical case elements which are significant parts of the summary may be mentioned several times in the reader ***,we investigate the task of comment-aware abstractive text summarization for LPO-news,which can generate salient summary by learning pivotal case elements from the reader *** this paper,we present a hierarchical comment-aware encoder(HCAE),which contains four components:1)a traditional sequenceto-sequence framework as our baseline;2)a selective denoising module to filter the noisy of comments and distinguish the case elements;3)a merge module by coupling the source article and comments to yield comment-aware context representation;4)a recoding module to capture the interaction among the source article words conditioned on the *** experiments are conducted on a large dataset of legal public opinion news collected from micro-blog,and results show that the proposed model outperforms several existing state-of-the-art baseline models under the ROUGE metrics.

An Innovative K-Anonymity Privacy-Preserving Algorithm to Improve Data Availability in the Context of Big Data

The development of technologies such as big data and blockchain has brought convenience to life,but at the same time,privacy and security issues are becoming more and more *** K-anonymity algorithm is an effective and low computational complexity privacy-preserving algorithm that can safeguard users’privacy by anonymizing big ***,the algorithm currently suffers from the problem of focusing only on improving user privacy while ignoring data *** addition,ignoring the impact of quasi-identified attributes on sensitive attributes causes the usability of the processed data on statistical analysis to be *** on this,we propose a new K-anonymity algorithm to solve the privacy security problem in the context of big data,while guaranteeing improved data ***,we construct a new information loss function based on the information quantity *** that different quasi-identification attributes have different impacts on sensitive attributes,we set weights for each quasi-identification attribute when designing the information loss *** addition,to reduce information loss,we improve K-anonymity in two ***,we make the loss of information smaller than in the original table while guaranteeing privacy based on common artificial intelligence algorithms,i.e.,greedy algorithm and 2-means clustering *** addition,we improve the 2-means clustering algorithm by designing a mean-center method to select the initial center of ***,we design the K-anonymity algorithm of this scheme based on the constructed information loss function,the improved 2-means clustering algorithm,and the greedy algorithm,which reduces the information ***,we experimentally demonstrate the effectiveness of the algorithm in improving the effect of 2-means clustering and reducing information loss.

Crystal structure, phase compositions and microwave dielectric properties of Gd1-xCaxV1-xMoxO4 ceramics

Gd1-xCaxV1-xMoxO4 (0 ≤ x ≤ 1) solid-solution/composite ceramics with low permittivity were synthesized via the solid-state reaction method, and their crystal structures, phase compositions, and microwave dielectric properties were investigated. As the substitution of Ca2+ and Mo6+ increased, phase evolutions were observed: tetragonal zircon (I41/amd) for x 1/a) for x > 0.8. GdVO4, a tetragonal zircon, exhibited a low Εr (11.48) and a near-zero τf (−13.2 ppm/°C), yet its Q × f value is suboptimal (9400 GHz). This limitation stems from its low structural stability, attributed to the prevalent edge-sharing polyhedra and high magnetic susceptibility of Gd. With the increased substitution of Ca2+ and Mo6+, the Q × f value of Gd1-xCaxV1-xMoxO4 ceramics rose to 79,300 GHz (x = 1), while the τf value concurrently dropped to −61.7 ppm/°C. The inherent factors affecting the microwave dielectric properties were determined by Raman scattering and infrared reflection (IR) spectra, dielectric temperature spectrum, magnetic susceptibility, and thermal expansion analysis. © 2025 Elsevier Ltd and Techna Group S.r.l.

Unraveling abnormal buried interface anion defect passivation mechanisms depending on cation-induced steric hindrance for efficient and stable perovskite solar cells

Although ionic liquids(ILs)have been widely employed to heal the defects in perovskite solar cells(PSCs),the corresponding defect passivation mechanisms are not thoroughly understood up to ***,we first reveal an abnormal buried interface anion defect passivation mechanism depending on cationinduced steric *** IL molecules containing the same anion([BF4]^(-))and different sizes of imidazolium cations induced by substituent size are used to manipulate buried *** was revealed what passivated interfacial defects is mainly anions instead of *** and experimental results demonstrate that the large-sized cations can weaken the ionic bond strength between anions and cations,and facilitate the interaction between anions and SnO2as well as perovskites,which is conducive to interfacial defect passivation and ameliorating interfacial *** can be concluded that interfacial chemical interaction strength and defect passivation effect are positively correlated with the size of *** discovery breaks conventional thinking that large-sized modification molecules would weaken their chemical interaction with *** with the control device(21.54%),the device based on 1,3-Bis(1-adamantyl)-imidazolium tetrafluoroborate(BAIMBF4)with maximum size cations achieves a significantly enhanced efficiency of 23.61%along with much increased moisture,thermal and light stabilities.
