ChatG PT,an artificial intelligence generated content (AIGC) model developed by OpenAI,has attracted worldwide attention for its capability of dealing with challenging language understanding and generation tasks in the form of *** paper briefly provides an overview on the history,status quo and potential future development of ChatGPT,helping to provide an entry point to think about ***,from the limited open-accessed resources,we conclude the core techniques of ChatGPT,mainly including large-scale language models,in-context learning,reinforcement learning from human feedback and the key technical steps for developing *** further analyze the pros and cons of ChatGPT and we rethink the duality of ChatGPT in various *** it has been widely acknowledged that ChatGPT brings plenty of opportunities for various fields,mankind should still treat and use ChatG PT properly to avoid the potential threat,e.g.,academic integrity and safety ***,we discuss several open problems as the potential development of ChatGPT.

Heterogeneous information network(HIN)has recently been widely adopted to describe complex graph structure in recommendation systems,proving its effectiveness in modeling complex graph *** existing HIN-based recommendation studies have achieved great success by performing message propagation between connected nodes on the defined metapaths,they have the following major *** works mainly convert heterogeneous graphs into homogeneous graphs via defining metapaths,which are not expressive enough to capture more complicated dependency relationships involved on the ***,the heterogeneous information is more likely to be provided by item attributes while social relations between users are not adequately *** tackle these limitations,we propose a novel social recommendation model MPISR,which models MetaPath Interaction for Social Recommendation on heterogeneous information ***,our model first learns the initial node representation through a pretraining module,and then identifies potential social friends and item relations based on their similarity to construct a unified *** then develop the two-way encoder module with similarity encoder and instance encoder to capture the similarity collaborative signals and relational dependency on different *** experiments on five real datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of our method.

Seeking new strategies to tune the intrinsic defect and optimize the thermoelectric performance via no or less use of external doped elements(i.e.,plain optimization)is an important method to realize the sustainable development of thermoelectric ***,creating dislocation defects in oxide systems is quite challenging because the rigid and stiff ionic/covalent bonds can hardly tolerate the large strain energy associated with ***,taking BiCuSe_(O) oxide as an example,the present work reports a successful construction of dense lattice dislocations in BiCuSe_(O) by self-doping of Se at the O site(i.e.,Se_(O) self-substitution),and achieves plain optimization of the thermoelectric properties with only external Pb *** to the self-substitution-induced large lattice distortion and the potential reinforcement effect by Pb doping,high-density(about 3.0×10^(14 )m^(−2))dislocations form in the grains,which enhances the scattering strength of mid-frequency phonon and results in a substantial low lattice thermal conductivity of 0.38 W m^(−1) K^(−1) at 823 K in Pb-doped BiCuSe_(O).Meanwhile,PbBi doping and Cu vacancy markedly improve the electrical conductivity while maintaining a competitively high Seebeck coefficient,thereby contributing to a highest power factor of 942μW m^(−1) K^(−2).Finally,a remarkably enhanced zT value of 1.32 is obtained at 823 K in Bi_(0.94)Pb_(0.06)Cu_(0.97)Se_(1.05)O_(0.95) with almost compositional *** high-density dislocation structure reported in this work will also provide a good inspiration for the design and construction of dislocations in other oxide systems.

Time-triggered architecture,as a mainstream design of the distributed real-time system,has been successfully applied in the aerospace,automotive and mechanical ***,time-triggered scheduling is a challenging NP-hard *** are few studies that could quickly solve the scheduling problem of large distributed time-triggered *** solve this problem,a communication affinity parameter is defined in this paper to describe the degree of bias of the shaper task towards sending or receiving *** on this,an innovative task-message decoupling model named D-scheduler is built to reduce the computation complexity of the scheduling problem in large-scale ***,we provide mathematical proof that our model is a convex optimization that is easy to solve with existing computational *** experiments substantiate the efficacy of the *** dramatically reduces the scheduling complexity of large-scale real-time systems with a small loss of solving space compared to the federal scheduler.

Solution of Smoluchowski coagulation equation for Brownian motion with TEMOM

The particle number density in the Smoluchowski coagulation equation usually cannot be solved as a whole,and it can be decomposed into the following two functions by similarity transformation:one is a function of time(the particle k-th moments),and the other is a function of dimensionless volume(self-preserving size distribution).In this paper,a simple iterative direct numerical simulation(iDNS)is proposed to obtain the similarity solution of the Smoluchowski coagulation equation for Brownian motion from the asymptotic solution of the k-th order moment,which has been solved with the Taylor-series expansion method of moment(TEMOM)in our previous *** convergence and accuracy of the numerical method are first verified by comparison with previous results about Brownian coagulation in the literature,and then the method is extended to the field of Brownian agglomeration over the entire size *** results show that the difference between the lognormal function and the self-preserving size distribution is ***,the thermodynamic constraint of the algebraic mean volume is also *** short,the asymptotic solution of the TEMOM and the self-preserving size distribution form a one-to-one mapping relationship;thus,a complete method to solve the Smoluchowski coagulation equation asymptotically is established.

Antenna Pattern Reconstruction Based on Mid-field Phaseless Measured Data Using Simplified Extrapolation Technique

With the rapid development and commercialization of 5G technology, calibration and RF testing using over-the-air (OTA) is becoming increasingly important. Due to the large size of the massive MIMO base station, it is very challenging to fulfill direct far-field (DFF) conditions in OTA tests. Conventional near-field (NF) testing methods suffer from long measurement times due to the stringent sampling requirements (e.g. NF to far-field (FF) transformation) or the requirement for expensive test equipment (e.g. compact antenna test range). In this paper, we propose a simplified extrapolation technique (ET) strategy to reconstruct FF radiation pattern based on mid-field (MF) phaseless measurements, with high measurement efficiency. The traditional ET uses polynomials with many terms to fit the radiated power of an arbitrary antenna at the radial direction, while the simplified ET only use few terms to fit the power variation in the MF, taking into account the structure and element excitation characteristics of common arrays such as base stations. The relationship between the element excitation mode and the coefficients of each fitted term is determined by detailed theoretical derivations. Then, the best-fitting polynomials are determined for different excitation modes. The antenna pattern of the base station is successfully reconstructed in an anechoic chamber by power measurements at two or three different distances of less than 1/4 of the FF distance. The robustness and effectiveness of the proposed method is experimentally verified by comparing the accuracy of the antenna pattern reconstruction with different fitting polynomials in the anechoic chamber for a practical base station antenna. © 1963-2012 IEEE.

A flower-like SnO_(2)–SnO/porous Ga N(FSS/PGaN) heterojunction was fabricated for the first time via a facile spraying process, and the whole process also involved hydrothermal preparation of FSS and electrochemical wet etching of GaN,and SnO_(2)–SnO composites with p–n junctions were loaded onto PGaN surface directly applied to H_(2)S sensor. Meanwhile,the excellent transport capability of heterojunction between FSS and PGaN facilitates electron transfer, that is, a response time as short as 65 s and a release time up to 27 s can be achieved merely at 150℃ under 50 ppm H_(2)S concentration, which has laid a reasonable theoretical and experimental foundation for the subsequent PGaN-based heterojunction gas *** lowering working temperature and high sensitivity(23.5 at 200 ppm H2S) are attributed to the structure of PGaN itself and the heterojunction between SnO_(2)–SnO and PGaN. In addition, the as-obtained sensor showed ultra-high test *** simple design strategy of FSS/PGaN-based H_(2)S sensor highlights its potential in various applications.

Cooperative perception is a promising paradigm to tackle the perception limitations of a single intelligent vehicle (IV) to enhance the driving safety and efficiency in intelligent vehicular networks. However, the real-time transmission and computation-intensive fusion of raw sensing data raise new challenges for satisfying the stringent delay requirement of delay-sensitive applications. In this paper, we formulate a joint optimization problem of the cooperative IV selection, compression ratio selection, transmit power control, task offloading decision and computation allocation to minimize the end-to-end delay consisting of compression, transmission and computation. In particular, to meet the perception probability requirement, the quality and quantity-aware matching algorithm is proposed to optimize the cooperative IV selection. To guarantee the queue stability of offloading tasks, we develop the Lyapunov optimization algorithm to determine the upper bound of the offloading tasks and the corresponding optimal computation allocation. The Lyapunov aided deep reinforcement learning algorithm is further proposed to dynamically adjust the task offloading decision and compression ratio selection to minimize the end-to-end delay with the transmit power control being optimized by the successive convex approximation algorithm. Simulation results demonstrate that, compared to several benchmark algorithms, our proposed algorithm achieves the lowest end-to-end delay while guaranteeing the requirements on perception probability and queue stability effectively. © 1967-2012 IEEE.

For electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction(CO_(2)RR),CO_(2)-to-CO conversion is considered an ideal route towards carbon neutrality for practical ***(Au)is known as a promising catalyst with high selectivity for CO;however,it suffers from high cost and low mass-specific *** this study,we design and prepare a catalyst featuring uniform S-doped Au nanoparticles on N-doped carbon support(denoted as S-Au/NC)by an in situ synthesis strategy using *** S-Au/NC displays high activity and selectivity for CO in CO_(2)RR with a Au loading as low as 0.4 wt.%.The Faradaic efficiency of CO(FECO)for S-Au/NC is above 95%at−0.75 V(***);by contrast,the FECO of Au/NC(without S)is only 58%.The Tafel slope is 77.4 mV·dec−1,revealing a favorable kinetics ***,S-Au/NC exhibits an excellent long-term stability for CO_(2)*** functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal that the S dopant can boost the activity by reducing the free energy change of the potential-limiting step(formation of the*COOH intermediate).This work not only demonstrates a model catalyst featuring significantly reduced use of noble metals,but also establishes an in situ synthesis strategy for preparing high-performance catalysts.
