Dc GA20ox2 and DcGA2ox1 alter endogenous gibberellin contents and adjust lignin accumulation in carrot

Gibberellins(GAs)are a class of plant hormones that can affect plant growth and ***-oxidases are rate-limiting enzymes,which play a direct role in GA accumulation in ***,the roles of GA-oxidase on carrot(Daucus carota L.)taproot development are still *** this study,two GA-oxidase genes,DcGA20ox2 and DcGA2ox1,were identified in *** carrot plants were obtained by using Agrobacterium-mediated genetic transformation *** results showed that overexpression of DcGA20ox2 significantly promoted the accumulation of active GAs in carrot,increased plant height,generated more branches,and enhanced xylem *** of DcGA2ox1 significantly reduced the total contents of active GAs compared with the control group,resulting in a dwarf phenotype and markedly increased lignin content of the transgenic *** expression profiling showed that the genes of GA metabolic pathway responded to the negative feedback regulation *** the same time,the expression of most genes in lignin biosynthesis and polymerization process was up-regulated,corresponding to the massive accumulation of *** findings indicated that DcGA20ox2 and DcGA2ox1affected carrot growth and development by regulating the levels of endogenous *** results from current work might shed light on further studies aimed to regulate lignification in carrot and other crops.

Steel slag contains a large amount of calcium silicate,which can react with CO_(2)to generate CaCO_(3)and SiO_(2)colloid,thus steel slag may become a cementitious material with a certain *** strength porous steel slag carbonated brick was prepared by adding easily decomposed bicarbonate solid into steel slag as pore-forming agent and then accelerating carbonation.A variety of characterization methods were used to characterize the composition and micro-structure of the *** effects of different pore-forming agent dosage and carbonation time on the properties of pore steel slag blocks were *** results show that the addition of ammonia bicarbonate promotes the nucleation and growth of columnar *** strength of steel slag block mixed with 30%pore forming agent can reach 24.8 MPa after 1 day of carbonation,and then the strength development tends to slow down.

When taking salvaging missions, helicopters play important roles but still face high risk because of complex circumstance. Emergency Floatation System (EFS) is critical to ensure flight safety and conduct emergency rescue for helicopters. To achieve this goal, the reliability of EFS itself is the first concern during its design and development. This paper presents a health assessment strategy for EFS of helicopters, based on multi-signal flow graph modeling, fault tree based diagnosis and Bayesian Networks (BN) based assessment. The simulation results can show that the developed strategy is feasible to evaluate the health status of EFS, which will be helpful for the maintenance division to take proper precautions to avoid potential accidents. © 2022, The Editor(s) (if applicable) and The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
