Automated detection of military people based on the images in different environments plays an important role in accurately completing military *** the equipment gradually moving towards intelligence,unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)will be widely used for integrated reconnaissance/attack in the *** lightweight and compact design of the small UAV allows it to travel through dense forests and other environments to capture images with its convenient ***,as the camouflage has been designed to blend in with surroundings,which greatly reduces the probability of the target being ***,the lack of training data on camouflaged people detection will inhibit the training of a deep *** address these problems,a novel semi-supervised camouflaged military people detection network is proposed to automatically detect the target from the *** this paper,the camouflaged object detection dataset(COD10K)is first supplemented according to our mission requirements,then the edge attention is utilized to enhance the boundaries based on search identification ***,a semi-supervised learning strategy is presented to take advantage of the unlabeled data which can alleviate insufficient data and improve the detection *** demonstrate that the proposed semi-supervised search identification network(Semi-SINet)performs well in camouflaged people detection compared with other object detection methods.

An Enhanced Three-Dimensional Wind Retrieval Method Based on Genetic Algorithm-Particle Swarm Optimization for Coherent Doppler Wind Lidar

In this paper, a wind retrieval method based on genetic algorithm-particle swarm optimization (GA-PSO) for the coherent Doppler wind lidar (CDWL) is proposed. The algorithm incorporates an advanced optimization framework that considers wind field spatial continuity, simultaneously enhancing retrieval accuracy and computational efficiency. Comprehensive validations of the GA-PSO algorithm are conducted using a 1.5 μm all-fiber CDWL through ground-based and airborne experiments. In ground-based experiments, the GA-PSO algorithm extends the detection range by 20%~30% compared with traditional methods. The validation against meteorological tower data demonstrates excellent agreement, with mean deviations better than 0.27 m/s for horizontal wind speed and 3.07° for horizontal wind direction and corresponding RMSE values better than 0.36 m/s and 6.04°, respectively. During high-altitude airborne experiments at 5.5 km, the GA-PSO algorithm recovers up to 31% more horizontal wind speed and direction information compared with traditional algorithms, demonstrating exceptional performance in low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) conditions. Both simulation analysis and field experiments demonstrate that the GA-PSO algorithm achieves processing speeds comparable to traditional real-time methods, establishing its suitability for real-time, three-dimensional wind retrieval applications. © 2025 by the authors.

Passive acoustic positioning is the use of acoustic sensor array to receive target acoustic signals, Extracting spatial information of the sound source through signal processing, a positioning technique to determine the target orientation and distance. In this paper, the Kalman filter algorithm is used to estimate the delay of different sensor signals, and the spatial azimuth geometry algorithm is used to analyze the target azimuth and elevation angle. A control method is designed to keep the S curve of the motor smooth and simplify the S-curve acceleration and deceleration. The azimuth angle is controlled by the new S-curve to control the horizontal motor, which can effectively monitor the target.1 © 2018 IEEE.

This paper addresses an improved water-body extraction method by the multispectral remote sensing image of four-bands. Firstly, traditional multispectral water body extraction technologies are reviewed, and their features are compared. It shows that finding the most difference of the reflection ratio of the water body and the background is the core to improve the identification rate. Furthermore, combing data's feature of GF-01 and GF-02 satellites, an improved normalization index method by introducing the weighted average of the blue and green light bands was proposed. Finally, the comparative results illustrating the improvement of water body extraction are provided and analyzed. © 2016 IEEE.

Cognitive radio has emerged as a promising technology to exploit the unused portions of spectrum in an opportunistic manner. Spectrum assignment is a key mechanism that limits the interference between second users and primary users, enabling a more efficient usage of the wireless spectrum. The licensed channels are randomly occupied by primary users in the cognitive radio networks. The channel occupancy time of the primary user in different channels is different too. By assuming it is negative exponentially distributed and combining the channel selection criteria of the robust topology control algorithm (CRTCA), an improved channel assignment algorithm (ICAA) was proposed. The simulation results indicate that the channel assignment method of considering the channel occupancy time of primary user is more than CRTCA in throughput and less than CRTCA in collision rate. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

In this study, a fractional gradient descent (FGD) algorithm for nonlinear additive systems with unknown structure is proposed. The nonlinear model is turned into a linear-parameter model using the Weierstrass approximation approach. Then, a FGD algorithm is created to estimate all of the system's unknown parameters. A preconditioned matrix approach is also presented to improve the FGD algorithm's convergence rate. When intelligent fuse is detecting target acoustic signal, affected by external interference and other factors, the signal may bring on trend term. Existence of trend term may cause direct influence on the accuracy of target acoustic signal, so that it should be removed. In allusion to the problems in existing trend term removal methods, such as trend term type should be assumed in advance, and the calculation process is quite complicated, a smoothness priors approach based method is proposed to remove trend term of target acoustic signal. 3 categories of target acoustic signals were processed in the research. According to the results, the approach is effective in removing trend term of time domain waveform and power spectrum of target acoustic signal. Moreover, the method is simple and efficient, and is applicable to the trend term removal preprocessing of target sound signal. © 2016 IEEE.

With booming growth of Internet of Things technique, acoustic sensor networks comprised of microphone array nodes have been increasingly applied to multi-source speech enhancement (SE). Compared with conventional centralized SE algorithms, distributed approaches achieve comparable performance with many advantages such as convenience, low cost and scalability. However, existing distributed methods either need to run once for each desired source independently, or require the number of channels transmitted by each node to increase proportionally with the number of desired sources. Furthermore, it is also challenging for each node to acquire all the steering vectors as demanded by existing methods. To address these issues, a node-specific distributed generalized sidelobe canceler (NS-DGSC) algorithm is proposed in this article. Here, "node-specific"refers to scenarios where each node estimates individual desired source. First, microphone signals at each node are pre-filtered by a local generalized sidelobe canceler (GSC), yielding preliminary enhancement for individual desired source. Then, for each node, preliminary results exchanged from other nodes are utilized to expand the lower branch of local GSC. Finally, the expanded lower branch is employed to calculate a new noise canceler, leading to the final output at each node. Compared with state-of-the-art distributed algorithms, our approach only requires single-channel transmission at each node as well as available local steering vectors for simultaneously enhancing multiple desired sources. Simulations across various signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) input, reverberation time, source-to-node distance, and steering vector estimation error conditions reveal that the proposed approach considerably outperforms existing methods in terms of signal-to-distortion ratio (SDR) and robustness in practice, while provides comparable SINR improvement. Real-world experiments also verify its effectiveness. © 2014 IEEE.

Aimed at the segmentation problem of ultrawideband synthetic aperture radar (UWB SAR) image, a novel algorithm based on polynomial analysis of statistical distribution is proposed in this letter. Firstly, we estimate the probability density function (PDF) for each pixel via sparse decomposition of which the dictionary consists of orthogonal polynomials (OP). Secondly, the weighting coefficients of corresponding OP are used to segment image using their maximum value. The experimental results validate the efficiency of this algorithm. © 2019 IEEE.

Design of high performance power supply for acoustic shock acquisition system is discussed from the perspective of engineering practice of acoustic shock acquisition system. In this connection, design of multi-output power is proposed based on switching regulator. Moreover, by analyzing key components, the problem of high ripple with switching regulator is successfully solved, while power supply efficiency is further improved. The small-sized SMD package is adopted to improve the power density of switching regulator, making it more suitable for limited installation space of acoustic shock acquisition system. In practical applications, the proposal reaches expected design indexes. © 2016 IEEE.
