This study aims to enhance the adhesion strength and anti-corrosion performance of the cold galvanizing coating(CGC)applied on the hot-dip galvanized steel(HDG).Polydopamine(PDA)is deposited on the HDG surface with different time ranges and as an interlayer between CGC and HDG through covalent *** surface morphology and the covalent interaction between PDA/HDG are exhibited by scanning electron microscope(SEM),atomic force microscopy(AFM)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The pull-off adhesion tests before and after neutral slat spry tests show an enhanced dry adhesion strength and less adhesion loss of the hybrid CGC/PDA coated HDG compared with the direct CGC coated *** addition,open circuit potential(OCP)reveals that the corrosion protection performance of the hybrid CGC/PDA coated HDG increases by 200%(up to 201 d)and the corrosion density icorrattaining about 4.45×10^(-7)A/cm^(2).Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)measurements and X-ray diffraction(XRD)analysis confirm that the precipitate of the stable chelation formed by PDA and Zn^(2+)between CGC and HDG substrate can also improve the corrosion protection *** a strategy of strengthening adhesion and forming the chelate compound at the HDG surface promises a new route to corrosion protection of CGC on HDG.

In this letter, targeting a more practical case, we aim to detect the oneshot DA, with the purpose of revealing the DA once it is ***, we first formulate an optimization problem to generate one-shot DAs. Then, an unsupervised data-driven approach based on a modified local outlier factor(MLOF) is proposed to detect them.

To improve the separation capacity of uranium in aqueous solutions, 3R-MoS2 nanosheets were prepared with molten salt electro- lysis and further modified with polypyrrole (PPy) to synthesize a hybrid nanoadsorbent (PPy/3R-MoS2). The preparation conditions of PPy/3R- MoS2 were investigated and the obtained nanosheets were characterized with scanning electron microscope (SEM), high resolution transmis- sion electron microscope (HRTEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray photoelectron spectro- scopy (XPS). The results showed that PPy/3R-MoS2 exhibited enhanced adsorption capacity toward U(VI) compared to pure 3R-MoS2 and PPy;the maximum adsorption was 200.4 mg/g. The adsorption mechanism was elucidated with XPS and FTIR: (1) negatively charged PPy/3R-MoS2 nanosheets attracted by an electrostatic interaction;(2) exposed C, N, Mo, and S atoms complexed with U(VI) through co- ordination;(3) Mo in the complex partly reduced the adsorbed U(VI) to U(IV), which further regenerated the adsorption point and continu- ously adsorbed U(VI). The design of the PPy/3R-MoS2 composite with a high adsorption capacity and chemical stability provides a new direc- tion for the removal of radionuclide.

Recently, perpendicular shocks have been generated in laboratory experiments by the interaction between a laser-produced supersonic plasma flow and a magnetized ambient plasma. Here, we explore the ion dynamics and the formation of such kinds of shock with a one-dimensional(1D)particle-in-cell simulation model using achievable parameters for laser experiments. A small part of the ambient ions is first reflected by the laser-driven piston. These piston-reflected ions interact with the upstream plasma and form a shock then. By analyzing the contribution of the electric force and the Lorentz force during the reflection, shock-reflected ions are found to be accelerated by two different mechanisms: shock drift acceleration and shock surfing acceleration,where shock drift acceleration is the dominant one. Very few ions are reflected twice by the shock and accelerated to a large velocity, implying that a more energetic population of ions can be observed in future experiments.
