With the booming development of electronic information science and 5G communication technology,electromagnetic radi-ation pollution poses a huge threat and damage to *** novel and high-performance electromagnetic wave(EMW)ab-sorbers is an effective method to solve the above issue and has attracted the attention of many *** a typical magnetic material,ferrite plays an important role in the design of high-performance EMW absorbers,and related research focuses on diversified synthesis methods,strong absorption performance,and refined microstructure ***,we focus on the synthesis of ferrites and their composites and introduce recent advances in the high-temperature solid-phase method,sol-gel method,chemical coprecipitation method,and solvent thermal method in the preparation of high-performance EMW *** review aims to help researchers understand the advantages and disadvantages of ferrite-based EMW absorbers fabricated through these *** also provides important guidance and reference for researchers to design high-performance EMW absorption materials based on ferrite.

Wetting front migration model of ion-adsorption rare earth during the multi-hole unsaturated liquid injection

In the process of ion-adsorption rare earth ore leaching,the migration characteristics of the wetting front in multi-hole injection holes and the influence of wetting front intersection effect on the migration distance of wetting fronts are still ***,wetting front migration distance and leaching time are usually required to optimize the leaching *** this study,wetting front migration tests of ionadsorption rare earth ores during the multi-hole fluid injection(the spacing between injection holes was 10 cm,12 cm and 14 cm)and single-hole fluid injection were completed under the constant water head *** the pre-intersection stage,the wetting front migration laws of ion-adsorption rare earth ores during the multi-hole fluid injection and single-hole fluid injection were *** the postintersection stage,the intersection accelerated the wetting front *** using the Darcy’s law,the intersection effect of wetting fronts during the multi-hole liquid injection was transformed into the water head height directly above the ***,based on the Green-Ampt model,a wetting front migration model of ion-adsorption rare earth ores during the multi-hole unsaturated liquid injection was *** analysis results showed that the proposed model can accurately simulate the infiltration process under experimental *** research results enrich the infiltration law and theory of ion-adsorption rare earth ores during the multi-hole liquid injection,and this study provides a scientific basis for optimizing the liquid injection well pattern parameters of ion-adsorption rare earth in situ leaching in the future.

Injury Prediction of Nonstandard Posture Occupants in Typical Intelligent Vehicle Frontal Impact

As future intelligent vehicles are gradually brought into use, the vehicle driving scenario may show a predictable and highly diversified trend, which introduces a new challenge to the design of occupant injury protection in vehicle collisions. In this regard, quantitatively analyzing the sensitivity of occupant injury responses to highly diverse occupant postures and accurately predicting the risk of occupant injury related to specific OOP (out-of-position) postures are crucial for designing the crash safety of intelligent vehicles. In this study, a variety of typical occupant OOP postures are considered. Numerical simulations are conducted with existing occupant restraint systems and human body numerical models to investigate the correlation between OOP posture factors (such as AEB (automatic emergency braking) level, torso left/right tilt angle, body size, and seatback tilt angle) and the predicted injury responses. An OOP occupant injury prediction model for frontal collisions is established using BP (backpropagation) neural networks based on the simulation data. Our study shows that the OOP posture factors are correlated with various injury criteria to different extents. The seatback tilt angle is significantly and positively correlated with neck injury and is also clearly related to upper leg injury. The occupant torso left/right tilt angle is remarkably negatively correlated with chest injury, especially chest compression. The occupant size mainly affects lower leg injury, particularly tibia force, while the effect of AEB is less notable than these factors. The BP neural network-based model for the prediction of OOP occupant injury showed Adequate prediction performance in terms of consistency index (higher than 0.9 for all injury criteria) and prediction accuracy (higher than 84 for all injury criteria, except for the viscous criterion VC and neck extension bending moment). 2023年5月加拿大发生极端野火事件并持续4个月时间.野火污染物排放对当地和下风向的空气质量造成了严重影响.本文对驱动此次野火事件的气象因子和相关大尺度环流进行了探究.研究表明,此次极端野火排放的二氧化碳相较往年同期增长了0.37Gt (527.1%).受罗斯贝波频散影响,同期加拿大中西部区域出现持续的位势高度正异常,促进气流下沉并引发局地高温,中西部区域5-6月最高温平均上升8.11℃,部分区域甚至超过10℃,导致野火排放的显著增长.受有利地形和泛北极地区快速增暖的影响,预期未来加拿大中西部发生极端野火的概率可能会显著上升.

Achieving color-tunable room-temperature phosphorescence(RTP),especially including blue RTP from a single-component polymer still faces a formidable ***,we wisely choose conformation-dependent phenothiazine with trifluoromethyl substituent as the side group of the phosphor monomer(Cz PT)and then copolymerize it with N-isopropylacrylamide(NIPAM)through photopolymerization to obtain polymers PPCz ***-dependent color-tunable phosphorescence from unusual quasi-equatorial(eq)to quasi-axial(ax)conformers are obtained,and the RTP color changes from orange(550 nm)to blue(470 nm)with phosphorescence lifetime up to 0.96 *** theoretical calculations confirm that the quasi-axial conformer is the preferred structure that facilitates the formation of intramolecular hydrogen bonds on the trifluoromethyl *** EPR spectra illustrate that the persistent UV irradiation generates radical cations to induce the conformational transitions first,followed by photopolymerization immobilizing the ax conformation in PPCz *** of data encryption and anti-counterfeiting are fabricated to show prompt and delayed multicolor *** work affords a simple and feasible avenue for two-dimensional color tunable room temperature phosphorescence from a single-component polymer.

Building integrated photovoltaic(BIPV)windows impact building performance by balancing daylighting availability,visual comfort,solar power generation,and building energy *** this balance is crucial for improving overall building energy efficiency and indoor environment *** study introduces a novel curved photovoltaic window design aimed at increasing daylight transmittance while maintaining the same photovoltaic area as a flat PV *** annual daylighting availability,visual comfort and building energy performance of three types of flat/curved PV windows(180°,120°,0°-flat)in a reference office room was comparatively studied across five different climate zones in China(Xiamen,Harbin,Nanjing,Kunming,and Beijing).The PV model was validated by the experimental *** results showed that the room with curved PV windows had significantly higher daylighting availability compared to flat windows,with the growth rates of the spatial useful daylight illuminance ranging of 3.94%–4.78%and 5.56%–5.94%,respectively,for the curved PV windows at central angles of 120°and 180°across different climate *** 120°curved PV windows achieved the lowest net energy used intensity(Net_EUI),suggesting the advantages of curved PV windows and proposed the existence of an optimal curvature for achieving the lowest Net_EUI.

Implications of the extremely hot summer of 2022 on urban ozone control in China

Frequent occurrences of extreme heat are causing severe ozone pollution over *** study examined the driving factors of urban ozone pollution in China during the extremely hot summer of 2022 and the impact of emission control strategies using surface measurements and the GEOS-Chem *** results show that ozone pollution was extremely severe in summer 2022,with a significant rebound by 12-15 ppbv in the North China Plain(NCP),Yangtze River Delta(YRD),and Sichuan basin(SCB),compared to *** over the NCP,the MDA8(maximum daily 8-hourly average)ozone exceeded 160 ppbv,and the number of ozone exceedances was over 42 *** on an IPR(integrated process rate)analysis,the authors found that the net chemical production was the dominant factor contributing to the strong ozone increase in summer *** example,in June over the NCP,the net chemical production resulted in an increase by 3.08 Gg d^(−1)(∼270%)in ozone mass *** simulations showed that both NO_(x)(nitrogen oxides)and VOC(volatile organic compound)reductions were important over the NCP,and NO_(x)reductions were more important than VOCs over southern *** keep the ozone of 2022 at the same level as 2021,a joint reduction of NO_(x)and VOCs by at least 50%-60%would have been *** study highlights the urgency to develop effective ozone management since extreme heat will become more frequent.

The low photoelectric conversion efficiency of photoelectrode is an important factor that limits the application in photoelectrochemical cathodic protection(PECCP)field for marine anti-corrosion of metallic *** this work,a photoelectrode of TiO_(2)/CdZnS/ZnS triple-phase heterojunction was fabricated by loading the narrow-band CdZnS associated with the broad-band ZnS via hydrothermal and continuous ion layer adsorption methods,*** composite of CdZnS enhances the photoelectric conversion ability of TiO_(2),while the ZnS composite can prevent the CdZnS from photo-corrosion and suppress the spillover of the photogenerated *** three-phase heterostructure effectively improves the PECCP performance on 316 L stainless steel(SS)under simulated solar irradiation,especially in 3.5 wt%NaCl solution without the sacrificial *** addition,the prepared TiO_(2)/CdZnS/ZnS photoelectrode also performs anti-biofouling effect evidenced by the high removal efficiency of Pseudomonas aeruginosa(***),which can be attributed to the oxidizability of photogenerated *** TiO_(2)/CdZnS/ZnS triple-phase heterojunction with desirable performance is a promising semiconductor material for the applications of PECCP and anti-biofouling.

Abstract: Three new coordination compounds, [Zn2(Dpb)(2-Btc)(OH)]n·0.5nH2O (Ι), [Cd2(Dpb)2(m-Bdc)2]n (II), [Cd(Dpb)(HBtc)(H2O)2]·H2O (III) (Dpb = 2,6-di(pyrazin-2-yl)-4,4'-bipyridine, H3(2-Btc) = benzene-1,2,4-tricarboxylic acid, m-H2Bdc = 1,3-benzenedicarboxylic acid, H3Btc = benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxylic acid), were designed and synthesized. Their structures have been characterized by elemental analyses, infrared spectra and X-ray single-crystal diffraction analyses (CCDC nos. 2373881 (Ι), 2080659(II) and 2373880 (III)). Compound Ι and II exhibit 2D structure, and compound III shows a mononuclear structure. The differences in the structures of Ι–III reveal that the auxiliary ligand exerts an important effect on the ultimate structures. Moreover, Hirshfeld Surface analysis of coordination compounds Ι–III were performed by Crystal Explorer 21 program. Furthermore, the solid-state luminescence emissions, the fluorescence decays and the CIE chromaticity coordinates of Ι–III were also investigated. © Pleiades Publishing, Ltd. 2025.
