As the novel research of space technologies, non-terrestrial-network (NTN) is one of the most important technologies. Mega satellite constellation is the baseline of the NTN technologies. Unfortunately, as the density of satellite deployment, the risk of collisions between satellites also increases significantly. Therefore, sensing technology is an important solution to avoid collisions within constellation. In this article, a sensing system for satellite constellation is proposed. It contains multiple subsystems working together to ensure measurement accuracy. An accurate laser measurement based on frequency swept interferometer (FIS) is the core of the sensing technologies. With a sensing distance of a few hundred meters, the specific FSI system can realize microns meterss accuracy in many experiments. Those results guarantee the well performance of the sensing system. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Aiming at the complex mechanism of coal slime water thickening process in coal preparation plant, which has the characteristics of multivariable and strong nonlinearity leading to the difficulty of realizing the intelligent optimization control, a model predictive control method based on back propagation neural network (BPNN) and Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy neural network (TSFNN) cascade (BP-TSFNN-MPC) is proposed. Further, in order to realize the intelligent optimization control of the thickening process, the BP-TSFNN-MPC controller is constructed, and the gradient descent optimization algorithm is used to solve the optimization problem. In the experimental part, the effectiveness of the model and control method is verified by combining the production data of the slime water concentration process and the simulation model of the thickener. The results show that the BP-TSFNN model has high prediction accuracy for the concentration process and BP-TSFNN-MPC has good control performance. © 2024 IEEE.

SAR target Automatic Target Recognition (ATR) is indispensable in SAR image interpretation. Recently, deep learning technology has been widely used in SAR target recognition tasks. Most networks achieve incremental improvements in target recognition by modifying their structures to extract visual features of targets. However, due to the unique imaging mechanism, relying solely on visual features often leads to the loss of target information. In contrast, the ASC model, which captures the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of the target, plays a crucial role in target recognition tasks. Unfortunately, traditional parameter estimation methods for extracting the ASC model are computationally expensive and time-consuming, making them impractical for real-world applications. To address these issues, we propose a novel target recognition method based on electromagnetic scattering features in this paper. First, a lightweight network-based feature extraction module is designed. Then, the target ASC image is used as the ground truth for guidance, with image intensity and target structure serving as the loss functions during training. Finally, an ASC model-guided feature fusion network is designed, utilizing the fused features for target recognition. On the MSTAR dataset, a visual assessment experiment demonstrated that the proposed feature extraction module effectively extracts electromagnetic scattering features under various operating conditions. Subsequently, in downstream classification tasks, the inclusion of the proposed module resulted in improved accuracy compared to other networks. Additionally, a visualization analysis of the classification network showed that, under the guidance of electromagnetic scattering features, the network achieved good interpretability. © 2024 IEEE.

Current protein nuclear localization assays encounter multiple challenges that underscore the constraints of conventional biochemical assays and sequence-based procedures. This paper highlights the emerging interest in utilizing artificial intelligence to surmount these limitations. Specifically, a supervised deep learning algorithm, employing the HTRNN model, is presented to identify mechanisms responsible for the nuclear location of proteins. This methodology embraces an entire data-driven end-to-end structure, making expert experience or previous biological knowledge unnecessary. By utilizing amino acid sequence features from both the head and tail regions, the algorithm displays remarkable detection and generalization capabilities, which have been validated by experimental results on present tagged nuclear location protein datasets. Overall, the data-driven algorithm plays a crucial role in enhancing the identification of protein nuclear localization properties. © 2024 IEEE.

A Morphological Study of Two Young Multipolar Planetary Nebulae

We carry out an optical morphological and infrared spectral study for two young planetary nebulae(PNs)Hen2-158 and Pe 1-1 to understand their complex shapes and dust *** space Telescope optical images reveal that these nebulae have several bipolar-lobed structures and a faint arc with a clear boundary is located at the northwestern side of Pe *** presence of this arc-shaped structure suggests that the object interacts with its nearby interstellar *** IRS spectroscopic observations of these young nebulae clearly show prominent unidentified infrared emission features and a weak silicate band in Pe 1-1,indicating that Hen 2-158 is a carbonrich nebula and Pe 1-1 has a mixed chemistry dust ***,we construct two three-dimensional models for these PNs to realize their intrinsic *** simulated models of the nebulae suggest that multipolar nebulae may be more numerous than we *** analyses of spectral energy distributions for Hen 2-158 and Pe 1-1 show that they have low luminosities and low stellar effective temperatures,suggesting that these nebulae are young PNs.A possible correlation between typical multipolar young PNs and nested nebulae is also discussed.

Chalcogenide superlattices Sb_(2)Te_(3)-GeTe is a candidate for interfacial phase-change memory(iPCM) data storage *** employing terahertz emission spectroscopy and the transient reflectance spectroscopy together,we investigate the ultrafast photoexcited carrier dynamics and current transients in Sb_(2)Te_(3)-GeTe *** orientation and excitation polarization dependences of the THz emission confirm that ultrafast thermo-electric,shift and injection currents contribute to the THz generation in Sb_(2)Te_(3)-GeTe *** decreasing the thickness and increasing the number of GeTe and Sb_(2)Te_(3) layer,the interlayer coupling can be enhanced,which significantly reduces the contribution from circular photo-galvanic effect(CPGE).A photo-induced bleaching in the transient reflectance spectroscopy probed in the range of~1100 nm to~1400 nm further demonstrates a gapped state resulting from the interlayer *** demonstrates play an important role in the development of iPCM-based high-speed optoelectronic devices.

This paper presents a new method to achieve passive pulse compression using a lossless dielectric loaded waveguide (DLW). The method demonstrates an obvious performance in controlling the dispersion characteristics of the DLWs. Efficient pulse compression in a specific frequency range is achieved by varying the radius and thickness. In the simulation, the compression factor of 85.6 is obtained by compressing a linear frequency-modulated pulse with a duration of 20 ns and a frequency range of 34.8-39.8 GHz into a Gaussian-envelope pulse. © 2023 IEEE.

Viruses are serious pathogenic contaminants that gravely threaten human health. There is an urgent need for environment-friendly and novel disinfection methods to inactivate various viruses. In this study, we applied the technique of cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) for virus disinfection. Particularly, we utilized the cold atmospheric plasma jet (CAPJ) and the plas-ma-activated solution (PAS) approaches for the treatment of bacteriophage MS2, and we added NaCl in the treatment system to enhance the disinfection efficiency. The inactivation effects under different CAPJ-PAS conditions using various plasma working gases were investigated. Also, the involved inactivation mechanisms due to respective active species were scrutinized. Our results showed that the addition of NaCl could considerably enhance the virus inactivation efficiency in the air/oxygen-CAPJ-PAS treatment, and during the direct CAPJ treatment, the primary inactivation factors were attributed to ·OH,1O2, ONOOH and ClO–, while for the indirect PAS treatment, the major inactivation contributors stemmed from1O2 and ClO–. This work therefore demonstrates the usefulness of NaCl in the CAPJ-PAS treatment in the virus inactivation and offers new perspectives on the application of CAP technology in disinfection of viruses. © 2023 by Begell House, Inc. ***.
