This paper proposes a method to identify micromotion parameters of radar echo with noise based on deep learning. The radar echo database is constructed from the point scattering model and the micro-Doppler spectrogram dataset is obtained then. The convolutional neural network is constructed to denoise radar echo with three kind of noises with different SNR, and target micro-motion parameters are identified. © 2022 IEEE.

The piecewise linear recursive convolution(PLRC) method based on finite difference time domain(FDTD) is used to calculate the reflection and transmission characteristics of electromagnetic waves from one-dimensional unmagnetized plasma. The results are shown that this method has obvious advantages in accurately calculating the electromagnetic problems of one-dimensional, small-scale and thin-layer dielectric materials. © 2022 IEEE.

In this article, a radiation patternreconfigurable patch antenna with tunable complementary split-ring resonators (CSRR) based on liquid metal (LM) and 3-D printed microfluidics is presented. The antenna is composed of three layers, a top coaxial fed rectangular patch, a middle ground plane with two CSRRs etched symmetrically, and two bottom microfluidics channels each adhered underneath the corresponding CSRR. Pattern reconfiguration is achieved by filling the microfluidic channels with the liquid metal plugs to change the physical parameters of the CSRR structure. By adjusting the length of the slot stubs in CSRRs, the main beam of the double CSRR-loaded antenna can be continuously scanned from -46° to 46° in elevation plane. © 2022 IEEE.

Target tracking with bearing-only measurement plays an important role for autonomous guidance and control ***,in some no-bearing measurement cases,the target motion should be predicted based on the available history *** this end,this paper compares two typical nonlinear Kalman filter techniques with the bearing measurement to firstly estimate the target state and ***,several Sigma points are chosen around the state by combining the unscented transform with the ***,for a long prediction time,the Sigma points are fed into the kinematic model to recursively obtain the target ***,the statistical properties are concluded from the Sigma points predictions,including the state mean and *** is shown that the covariance can provide an uncertainty region analysis for the target ***,the numerical simulation is given to validate the effectiveness of the proposed motion prediction approach.

The time-frequency images of radar modulation signals are similar at low signal-to-noise ratios, which will lead to lower recognition accuracy. This paper proposes an algorithm based on multi-branch fusion differences to identify radar modulation signals. The algorithm designs a multi-branch fusion differential module based on the attention mechanism and differential thinking, to extract time-frequency image fine-grained features and improve the Convolution Neural Network characterization ability. After that, a dual-branch differential network is proposed by combining vanilla convolution and multi-branch fusion difference module. The network can fuse global and detailed features of time-frequency images, which can achieve radar signal modulation recognition. The simulation results show that the recognition accuracy of the algorithm can reach 93.17% at 0dB. Therefore, the algorithm can obtain high recognition accuracy and has high recognition performance. © 2023 IEEE.

X-ray is an important tool for characterizing materials, which is based on the idea that all crystals are composed of atoms or molecules stacking in a particular type, basically expressing as unit cell, diffracting the incident ray with a proper type. In analogue, the periodic structures which are mostly constructed artificially show special desired properties, such as the properties of grating, frequency selective surfaces, metamaterials and metasurface. In this paper, A study was done on the insight of the relation of wave interaction with periodic structures based on X-ray diffraction and control of electromagnetic waves. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper presents a dual-frequency coding metasurface (CM) for vortex beam generation. The metasurface unit cell is realized with two symmetric metal layers separated by a dielectric substrate. Each metal layer consists of an outer square ring, a middle square ring, and an inner rhombus patch. Two out-of-phase transmitting states in two bands are achieved by rotating the inner rhombus patch by 90 °. Two 1 = + 2 vortex beams are then realized in two different bands by properly distributing the two states on the metasurface aperture. A metasurface with 30 × 30 elements is designed, simulated, and experimentally demonstrated. The experimental results agree well with the simulating ones, showing that the metasurface achieves a high transforming efficiency in both Ku (13.6-14.8GHz) band and Ka (26.7-27.7 GHz) band. © 2022 IEEE.

UAV formation networks are widely used in military and civilian industries due to their high flexibility and scalability, however, due to the complex space environment in which UAV formations are located, they are susceptible to different types of interference such as climate and radiation, resulting in changes in service transmission performance. Therefore, in order to evaluate the impact of interference on the performance of UAV formation network, this paper first constructs a UAV formation network model, then defines a series of index parameters to measure network performance from the perspective of network structure and network business, and conducts simulation experiments for the network spatial structure and performance of different user QoS (Quality of Service), and finally carries out theoretical analysis and simulation evaluation of the performance changes of the network before and after different types of interference. It provides a reference for the design and application of UAV formation network.

We propose a stability-based adaptive-period DSDV intra-cluster routing protocol that automatically adjusts the routing update period by the link stability among the nodes in the cluster structure, thus reducing the network overhead of the network structure in maintaining the routing table. We describe the link stability and adaptive period implementation and test the proposed routing protocol in the cluster structure based on network simulation. The implementation results show that the proposed routing protocol has better performance than the traditional DSDV routing protocol, can improve the network throughput and reduce the routing overhead in the network, and has good adaptability in the cluster with fast changing network topology. © 2022 IEEE.

In this paper, a microwave reflection method based on fusion algorithm is proposed to diagnose the peculiarity of plasma. This fusion algorithm is composed of genetic algorithm (GA) and neural network (ANN), that is GA-ANN. Only a single horn antenna is used to emit spherical waves to the preset plasma, and the scattering peculiarity of the horn antenna (impedance bandwidth, resonance point and gain) and the corresponding plasma characteristics (characteristic frequency, collision frequency) are obtained. The weight and bias of ANN are optimized by GA screening mechanism. Then GA-ANN is used to establish the mapping relationship between the scattering characteristics of antenna and plasma, which is finally used to diagnose the unknown plasma characteristics. The experimental results show that the relative error of plasma diagnosis using GA-ANN is 0.7 lower than that using ANN alone.
