Transmembrane proteins (TMPs) serve as drug targets for more than half of the drugs currently available in the market. However, it had not been clearly explained how they realize their drug effects through multiple complex molecules bindings actions. Research into TMPs bindings and corresponding structural basis will provide key information for drug research and new drug development. In this study, we defined the binding domain of TMPs according to the binding region investigation of multiple conjugate types. A 3D deep learning model was architected to discover the structural universality inside those domains. The experimental results proved such binding domains existing on the surface of TMPs, and they are structural specific distinguishing to the surface regions without any binding activities. This work provides a new theoretical basis for TMPs binding research and can greatly boost the development of the drug industry.

A global planning algorithm for intelligent vehicles is designed based on the A* algorithm, which provides intelligent vehicles with a global path towards their destinations. A distributed real-time multiple vehicle collision avoidance(MVCA)algorithm is proposed by extending the reciprocal n-body collision avoidance method. MVCA enables the intelligent vehicles to choose their destinations and control inputs independently,without needing to negotiate with each other or with the coordinator. Compared to the centralized trajectory-planning algorithm, MVCA reduces computation costs and greatly improves the robustness of the system. Because the destination of each intelligent vehicle can be regarded as private, which can be protected by MVCA, at the same time MVCA can provide a real-time trajectory planning for intelligent vehicles. Therefore,MVCA can better improve the safety of intelligent vehicles. The simulation was conducted in MATLAB, including crossroads scene simulation and circular exchange position simulation. The results show that MVCA behaves safely and reliably. The effects of latency and packet loss on MVCA are also statistically investigated through theoretically formulating broadcasting process based on one-dimensional Markov chain. The results uncover that the tolerant delay should not exceed the half of deciding cycle of trajectory planning, and shortening the sending interval could alleviate the negative effects caused by the packet loss to an extent. The cases of short delay(< 100100 ms) and low packet loss(< 5%) can bring little influence to those trajectory planning algorithms that only depend on V2 V to sense the context, but the unpredictable collision may occur if the delay and packet loss are further worsened. The MVCA was also tested by a real intelligent vehicle, the test results prove the operability of MVCA.

Message-passing neural networks (MPNNs) have been successfully applied to representation learning on graphs in a variety of real-world applications. However, two fundamental weaknesses of MPNNs' aggregators limit their ability to represent graph-structured data: losing the structural information of nodes in neighborhoods and lacking the ability to capture long-range dependencies in disassortative graphs. Few studies have noticed the weaknesses from different perspectives. From the observations on classical neural network and network geometry, we propose a novel geometric aggregation scheme for graph neural networks to overcome the two weaknesses. The behind basic idea is the aggregation on a graph can benefit from a continuous space underlying the graph. The proposed aggregation scheme is permutation-invariant and consists of three modules, node embedding, structural neighborhood, and bi-level aggregation. We also present an implementation of the scheme in graph convolutional networks, termed Geom-GCN, to perform transductive learning on graphs. Experimental results show the proposed Geom-GCN achieved state-of-the-art performance on a wide range of open datasets of graphs. © 2020 8th International Conference on Learning Representations, ICLR 2020. Domain generalization aims to train a model that can directly generalize to unseen domains after learning from different source domains. Due to the significant distribution discrepancy between training domains and the unseen target domain, model performance can be significantly affected. To address the issue, one current trend is to develop contrastive learning frameworks that achieve clustering effects by aligning features in the embedding space. Among existing solutions under contrastive learning frameworks, contrastive-based methods interact with intra-class and inter-class samples indiscriminately with equal intensity. Such indiscriminate interaction can be insufficient for effectively clustering domains with large gaps due to the influence of domain discrepancy. In contrast, metric learning frameworks, as traditional approaches for embedding space optimization, widely implement constructing class proxies as their central technique. However, when applied in domain generalization, proxy-based methods tend to neglect the rich semantic relationships between samples and fail to account for the domain-specific distributional relationships among classes. To resolve these limitations, we integrate contrastive-based methods with proxy-based methods, proposing a dual-proxy contrastive learning framework. Focusing on sample relations, we pay special attention to same-class cross-domain samples and assign greater interaction intensity to reduce feature discrepancy across domains. For class relations, we build two groups of centroid proxies: random proxy groups that adjust class-internal distributions along model optimization and mean proxy groups that represent statistical information to calibrate class-external distributions. Ultimately, we integrate the explorations from both the sample and class perspectives. We evaluate our method on five benchmark datasets, including PACS, VLCS, OfficeHome, TerraIncognita, and DomainNet, and the results validate its effectiveness with

With the continuous development of e-commerce, buying online product has become a more desirable shopping option for modern people, but the product reviews which people need to consult when they buy goods are easily become the root cause of misleading consumption. Black profit chains of online sales make a lot of spam opinion makers flood the network who guide consumer’s choice by writing deceptive and misleading spam opinions. In order to eliminate the impact of this black interest chain and safeguard the interests of the mass consumers, we propose a new model by using the time series anomaly detection, reducing the time complexity of spam opinion detection found by time series analysis, while improve the performance of spam detection. Based on time series anomaly detection, we analyze the content of reviews and the characteristics of reviewers and take experiments on real dataset that demonstrate advantages and effectiveness of the proposed approach. © 2019, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

In this paper, an Augmented Reality Navigation Application based on iOS platform is designed. This application is composed of five modules: the Location Module, the Digital Map Module, the Approximate Module, the Estimate Module and the AR Module. The Location Module requests current location via GPS in real-time and obtains the details of destination from map server. The Digital Map Module provides a Satellite Imagery View which superimposes navigation routes with marks such as current location, starting and destination. The Approximate module produced an approximation to fix the bias when converting the geographical coordinates between WGS-84 and GCJ-02 system. The Estimate Module produced a 3D position estimation according to a geographical coordinate provided by GPS or map server. This estimation will be used for placing the marks and routes in AR view. The AR Module provides an Augmented Reality scene superimposed destination and the route on a real-world background with a real-world scale. © 2019 IEEE.

Spatial transcriptomics (ST) has enabled us elucidating tumor microenvironments, however, the technological limitations without single-cell resolution severely hinder its application. Here, we propose CellMirror, an interpretable contrastive learning model to decipher heterogeneous cell populations in ST data by single-cell RNA-sequencing (scRNA-seq) data. Specifically, CellMirror learns the disentangled shared (representing biological variations in both data) and salient features (specific to ST data) by two contrastive variational encoders, while constructing the relations between genes and features by a shared linear decoder. In various cancer samples, CellMirror outperforms other tools in learning common features for label transfer, and interpretation of features. Particularly, in breast cancer studies, CellMirror detects finer domains in ST data missed by other methods, and is robust to dissect cell populations in ST data using independent scRNA-seq data. These results demonstrate applications of CellMirror in interpreting the complex tumor structure in ST data by integrating scRNA-seq data.

In augmented reality, smart devices need to sense their own position in real physical space and complex scene structure to achieve good virtual reality interaction and three-dimensional registration. This paper proposes a technical framework of visual SLAM, which uses VO and BA methods based on feature points to obtain pose, and applies it to the augmented reality system to realize pose estimation, registration, tracking, collision and other effects of intelligent equipment independent of artificial or natural landmarks. © 2019 IEEE.

Aiming at the problem that the QR codes cannot be recognized due to factors such as motion blur caused by the hand tremor and environmental noise in the QR codes of the packaged product, this paper proposes an algorithm based on the Generative Adversative Network to remove QR codes motion blur. Compared with the traditional deblurring algorithm, this method eliminates the process of blur kernel estimation, directly restores the motion blurred image. Gradient L1 regularization is added on the basis of the traditional GAN, which enhances the edge features of the restored image and adds the perceptual loss term, so that the image generated by the generator is closer to the global structure of the target clear image. The results show that the generator can remove the blur and generate a QR code with high recognition rate. © 2019 ACM.

Wrong-labeling problem and long-tail relations severely affect the performance of distantly supervised relation extraction task. Many studies mitigate the effect of wrong-labeling through selective attention mechanism and handle long-tail relations by introducing relation hierarchies to share knowledge. However, almost all existing studies ignore the fact that, in a sentence, the appearance order of two entities contributes to the understanding of its semantics. Furthermore, they only utilize each relation level of relation hierarchies separately, but do not exploit the heuristic effect between relation levels, i.e., higher-level relations can give useful information to the lower ones. Based on the above, in this paper, we design a novel Recursive Hierarchy-Interactive Attention network (RHIA) to further handle long-tail relations, which models the heuristic effect between relation levels. From the top down, it passes relation-related information layer by layer, which is the most significant difference from existing models, and generates relation-augmented sentence representations for each relation level in a recursive structure. Besides, we introduce a newfangled training objective, called Entity-Order Perception (EOP), to make the sentence encoder retain more entity appearance information. Substantial experiments on the popular New York Times (NYT) dataset are conducted. Compared to prior baselines, our RHIA-EOP achieves state-of-the-art performance in terms of precision-recall (P-R) curves, AUC, Top-N precision and other evaluation metrics.
