The graph with complex annotations is the most potent data type, whose constantly evolving motivates further exploration of the unsupervised dynamic graph representation. One of the representative paradigms is graph contrastive learning. It constructs self-supervised signals by maximizing the mutual information between the statistic graph's augmentation views. However, the semantics and labels may change within the augmentation process, causing a significant performance drop in downstream tasks. This drawback becomes greatly magnified on dynamic graphs. To address this problem, we designed a simple yet effective framework named CLDG. Firstly, we elaborate that dynamic graphs have temporal translation invariance at different levels. Then, we proposed a sampling layer to extract the temporally-persistent signals. It will encourage the node to maintain consistent local and global representations, i.e., temporal translation invariance under the timespan views. The extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the method on seven datasets by outperforming eight unsupervised state-of-the-art baselines and showing competitiveness against four semi-supervised methods. Compared with the existing dynamic graph method, the number of model parameters and training time is reduced by an average of 2,001.86 times and 130.31 times on seven datasets, respectively. Among qualitative direction relation models, Oriented point relation algebra（OPRAm） is a remarkable model for robot navigation with uncertain direction information. It has great advantages in providing powerful expressions with very limited information compared with other point-based spatial relation *** original OPRAm is defined in 2D space, and its model and reasoning algorithm are found not applicable in 3D space. We proposed a novel direction relation model named OPRA3Dmto extend the original OPRAm to 3D space,and presented a new reasoning algorithm on Oriented point relation algebra in three dimension（OPRA3Dm）. A further study was carried out for composition reasoning on OPRA3Dm. The proposed reasoning algorithm will deduce new information which cannot be directly detected by hardware. The experiment showed the algorithm had some practical significance, it can be applied to the Unmanned aerial vehicle（UAV） navigation and similar scenarios.

TC-GAT: Graph Attention Network for Temporal Causality Discovery

The present study explores the intricacies of causal relationship extraction, a vital component in the pursuit of causality knowledge. Causality is frequently intertwined with temporal elements, as the progression from cause to effect is not instantaneous but rather ensconced in a temporal dimension. Thus, the extraction of temporal causality holds paramount significance in the field. In light of this, we propose a method for extracting causality from the text that integrates both temporal and causal relations, with a particular focus on the time aspect. To this end, we first compile a dataset that encompasses temporal relationships. Subsequently, we present a novel model, TC-GAT, which employs a graph attention mechanism to assign weights to the temporal relationships and leverages a causal knowledge graph to determine the adjacency matrix. Additionally, we implement an equilibrium mechanism to regulate the interplay between temporal and causal relations. Our experiments demonstrate that our proposed method significantly surpasses baseline models in the task of causality extraction. Copyright © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Grasping the intricacies of human motion, which involve perceiving spatio-temporal dependence and multi-scale effects, is essential for predicting human motion. While humans inherently possess the requisite skills to navigate this issue, it proves to be markedly more challenging for machines to emulate. To bridge the gap, we propose the Human-like Vision and Inference System (HVIS) for human motion prediction, which is designed to emulate human observation and forecast future movements. HVIS comprises two components: the human-like vision encode (HVE) module and the human-like motion inference (HMI) module. The HVE module mimics and refines the human visual process, incorporating a retina-analog component that captures spatiotemporal information separately to avoid unnecessary crosstalk. Additionally, a visual cortex-analogy component is designed to hierarchically extract and treat complex motion features, focusing on both global and local features of human poses. The HMI is employed to simulate the multi-stage learning model of the human brain. The spontaneous learning network simulates the neuronal fracture generation process for the adversarial generation of future motions. Subsequently, the deliberate learning network is optimized for hard-to-train joints to prevent misleading learning. Experimental results demonstrate that our method achieves new state-of-the-art performance, significantly outperforming existing methods by 19.8% on Human3.6M, 15.7% on CMU Mocap, and 11.1% on G3D. Microvascular invasion (MVI) in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is of great guiding significance for the formulating treatment strategies and accessing the prognosis before the surgery. However, in traditional medicine, the gold standard for the diagnosis of MVI is obtained by examining pathological images which can only be obtained by sampling and sectioning tumors after surgery. At this time, MVI results have lost the timeliness of guiding tumor resection surgery. In order to solve this problem, existing studies began to use deep learning-based methods for preoperative prediction of MVI using non-invasive imaging. Most of these methods adopt the fusion methods of multi-sequence images to predict MVI, but fail to make full use of the characteristics of multiply sequences as prior knowledge to combine into the model, resulting in no further improvement of prediction performance. So we propose a multi-sequence image difference and correlation deep learning model. The model can extract the difference and correlation information between sequences from different scales and combine them into the model. To validate proposed model, we collected a data set consists of 120 HCC patients, including 50 MVI-positive patients. Compared with existing studies, our method has greatly improved in all evaluation metrics. © 2022 IEEE.

Although several surveys on Neural Combinatorial Optimization (NCO) solvers specifically designed to solve Vehicle Routing Problems (VRPs) have been conducted, they did not cover the state-of-the-art (SOTA) NCO solvers emerged recently. More importantly, to establish a comprehensive and up-to-date taxonomy of NCO solvers, we systematically review relevant publications and preprints, categorizing them into four distinct types, namely Learning to Construct, Learning to Improve, Learning to Predict-Once, and Learning to Predict-Multiplicity solvers. Subsequently, we present the inadequacies of the SOTA solvers, including poor generalization, incapability to solve large-scale VRPs, inability to address most types of VRP variants simultaneously, and difficulty in comparing these NCO solvers with the conventional Operations Research algorithms. Simultaneously, we discuss on-going efforts, identify open inadequacies, as well as propose promising and viable directions to overcome these inadequacies. Notably, existing efforts focus on only one or two of these inadequacies, with none attempting to address all of them concurrently. In addition, we compare the performance of representative NCO solvers from the Reinforcement, Supervised, and Unsupervised Learning paradigms across VRPs of varying scales. Finally, following the proposed taxonomy, we provide an accompanying web page as a live repository for NCO solvers. Image super-resolution is essential for a variety of applications such as medical imaging,surveillance imaging,and satellite imaging,among ***,the most popular color image super-resolution is performed in each color channel *** this paper,we show that the super-resolution quality can be further enhanced by exploiting the cross-channel *** by the High-Quality Linear Interpolation(HQLI)demosaicking algorithm by Malvar et al.,we design an image super-resolution scheme that integrates intra-channel interpolation with cross-channel details by isotropic linear *** its simplicity,our super-resolution method achieves the accuracy comparable with the existing fastest state-of-the-art super-resolution algorithm at 20 times faster *** is well applicable to applications that adopt traditional interpolations,for improved visual quality at trivial computation *** comparative study verifies the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed super-resolution algorithm.

False claims that have been previously fact-checked can still spread on social media. To mitigate their continual spread, detecting previously fact-checked claims is indispensable. Given a claim, existing works retrieve fact-checking articles (FC-articles) for detection and focus on reranking candidate articles in the typical two-stage retrieval framework. However, their performance may be limited as they ignore the following characteristics of FC-articles: (1) claims are often quoted to describe the checked events, providing lexical information besides semantics;and (2) sentence templates to introduce or debunk claims are common across articles, providing pattern information. In this paper, we propose a novel reranker, MTM (Memoryenhanced Transformers for Matching), to rank FC-articles using key sentences selected using event (lexical and semantic) and pattern information. For event information, we propose to finetune the Transformer with regression of ROUGE. For pattern information, we generate pattern vectors as a memory bank to match with the parts containing patterns. By fusing event and pattern information, we select key sentences to represent an article and then predict if the article fact-checks the given claim using the claim, key sentences, and patterns. Experiments on two real-world datasets show that MTM outperforms existing methods. Human evaluation proves that MTM can capture key sentences for explanations. Nighttime traffic object detection via adaptively integrating event and frame domains

Intelligent perception is crucial in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), with vision cameras as critical components. However, traditional RGB cameras exhibit a significant decline in performance when capturing nighttime traffic scenes, limiting their effectiveness in supporting ITS. In contrast, event cameras possess a high dynamic range (140 dB vs. 60 dB for traditional cameras), enabling them to overcome frame degradation in low-light conditions. Recently, multimodal learning paradigms have made substantial progress in various vision tasks, such as image-text retrieval. Motivated by this progress, we propose an adaptive selection and fusion detection method that leverages both event and RGB frame domains to optimize nighttime traffic object detection jointly. To address the challenge of unbalanced multimodal data fusion, we design a learnable adaptive selection and fusion module. This module performs feature ranking and fusion in the channel dimension, allowing efficient multimodal fusion. Additionally, we construct a novel multi-level feature pyramid network based on multimodal attention fusion. This network extracts potential features to enhance robustness in detecting nighttime traffic objects. Furthermore, we curate a dataset for nighttime traffic scenarios comprising RGB frames and corresponding event streams. Through experiments, we demonstrate that our proposed method outperforms current state-of-the-art techniques in event-based, frame-based, and event and frame fusion methods. This highlights the effectiveness of integrating the event and frame domains in enhancing nighttime traffic object detection. © 2023 The Authors
