Image fusion technology is the basis of computer vision task,but information is easily affected by noise during *** this paper,an Improved Pigeon-Inspired Optimization(IPIO)is proposed,and used for multi-focus noisy image fusion by combining with the boundary handling of the convolutional sparse *** two-scale image decomposition,the input image is decomposed into base layer and detail *** the base layer,IPIO algorithm is used to obtain the optimized weights for fusion,whose value range is gained by fusing the edge ***,the global information entropy is used as the fitness index of the IPIO,which has high efficiency especially for discrete optimization *** the detail layer,the fusion of its coefficients is completed by performing boundary processing when solving the convolution sparse representation in the frequency *** sum of the above base and detail layers is as the final fused *** results show that the proposed algorithm has a better fusion effect compared with the recent algorithms.

In this paper, we investigate a transmission eigenvalue problem that couples the principles of acoustics and elasticity. This problem naturally arises when studying fluid-solid interactions and constructing bubbly-elastic structures to create metamaterials. We uncover intriguing local geometric structures of the transmission eigenfunctions near the corners of the domains, under typical regularity conditions. As applications, we present novel unique identifiability and visibility results for an inverse problem associated with an acoustoelastic system, which hold practical significance. © 2024, CC BY.

Nowadays, deep learning has made rapid progress in the field of multi-exposure image fusion. However, it is still challenging to extract available features while retaining texture details and color. To address this difficult issue, in this paper, we propose a coordinated learning network for detail-refinement in an end-to-end manner. Firstly, we obtain shallow feature maps from extreme over/under-exposed source images by a collaborative extraction module. Secondly, smooth attention weight maps are generated under the guidance of a self-attention module, which can draw a global connection to correlate patches in different locations. With the cooperation of the two aforementioned used modules, our proposed network can obtain a coarse fused image. Moreover, by assisting with an edge revision module, edge details of fused results are refined and noise is suppressed effectively. We conduct subjective qualitative and objective quantitative comparisons between the proposed method and twelve state-of-the-art methods on two available public datasets, respectively. The results show that our fused images significantly outperform others in visual effects and evaluation metrics. In addition, we also perform ablation experiments to verify the function and effectiveness of each module in our proposed method. Left ventricle (LV) segmentation in echocardiography is of paramount significance in cardiac function analysis. Recently, semi-supervised segmentation has garnered considerable attention due to its potential mitigation of labeling costs. Despite this, most semi-supervised methodologies tend to overlook the specialized anatomical priors specific to echocardiography, often yielding suboptimal outcomes. Simultaneously, atlas priors have been validated on other organs and imaging modalities. However, their direct application in echocardiography is fraught with challenges, primarily attributed to the indistinct boundaries of the LV and the presence of fan-shaped image edges, which impede atlas image registration. This paper presents a new method of semi-supervised segmentation using multi-atlas fusion, named SS- MAF, which is designed to incorporate atlas priors tailored for echocardiography while circumventing the intricate image registration process in traditional atlas-based methods. The SS-MAF comprises two components: a Multi-Task Learning (MTL) module and a Multi-Atlas Fusion (MAF) module. The MTL module serves precise landmark localization and segmentation estimation. The MAF module is primarily focused on the generation of probabilistic atlases, utilizing annotated atlas data with the guidance of key landmarks to facilitate the automatic annotation of unlabeled data, avoiding the traditional image-level registration, thus enhancing the performance of the MTL module. Our SS- MAF is rigorously evaluated on the publicly available CAMUS dataset, with results demonstrating its superiority over other state-of-the-art semi-supervised segmentation techniques in echocardiography.

High-resolution multispectral (HRMS) images combine spatial and spectral information originating from panchromatic (PAN) and reduced-resolution multispectral (LRMS) images. Pansharpening performs well and is widely used to obtain HRMS images. However, most pansharpening approaches determine the ratio of PAN and LRMS images through direct interpolation, which may introduce artifacts and distort the color of the fused results. To address this issue, an unsupervised progressive pansharpening framework, MSBANet, is proposed, which adopts a multistage fusion strategy. Each stage contains an attention interactive extraction module (AIEM) and a multiscale bilateral fusion module (MBFM). The AIEM extracts spatial and spectral features from input images and captures the correlations between features. The MBFM can efficiently integrate information from the AIEM and improve MSBANet context awareness. We design a hybrid loss function that enhances the ability of the fusion network to store spectral and texture details. In qualitative and quantitative experimental studies on four datasets, MSBANet outperformed state-of-the-art pansharpening techniques. The code will be released. © 2024 IEEE.

The purpose of partial multi-label feature selection is to select the most representative feature subset, where the data comes from partial multi-label datasets that have label ambiguity issues. For label disambiguation, previous methods mainly focus on utilizing the information inside the labels and the relationship between the labels and features. However, the information existing in the feature space is rarely considered, especially in partial multi-label scenarios where the noises is considered to be concentrated in the label space while the feature information is correct. This paper proposes a method based on latent space alignment, which uses the information mined in feature space to disambiguate in latent space through the structural consistency between labels and features. In addition, previous methods overestimate the consistency of features and labels in the latent space after convergence. We comprehensively consider the similarity of latent space projections to feature space and label space, and propose new feature selection term. This method also significantly improves the positive label identification ability of the selected features. Comprehensive experiments demonstrate the superiority of the proposed method. In recent years, multi-view multi-label learning (MVML) has gained popularity due to its close resemblance to real-world scenarios. However, the challenge of selecting informative features to ensure both performance and efficiency remains a significant question in MVML. Existing methods often extract information separately from the consistency part and the complementary part, which may result in noise due to unclear segmentation. In this paper, we propose a unified model constructed from the perspective of global-view reconstruction. Additionally, while feature selection methods can discern the importance of features, they typically overlook the uncertainty of samples, which is prevalent in realistic scenarios. To address this, we incorporate the perception of sample uncertainty during the reconstruction process to enhance trustworthiness. Thus, the global-view is reconstructed through the graph structure between samples, sample confidence, and the view relationship. The accurate mapping is established between the reconstructed view and the label matrix. Experimental results demonstrate the superior performance of our method on multi-view datasets. Low-light image enhancement (LLIE) restores the color and brightness of underexposed images. Supervised methods suffer from high costs in collecting low/normal-light image pairs. Unsupervised methods invest substantial effort in crafting complex loss functions. We address these two challenges through the proposed TroubleMaker Learning (TML) strategy, which employs normal-light images as inputs for training. TML is simple: we first dim the input and then increase its brightness. TML is based on two core components. First, the troublemaker model (TM) constructs pseudo low-light images from normal images to relieve the cost of pairwise data. Second, the predicting model (PM) enhances the brightness of pseudo low-light images. Additionally, we incorporate an enhancing model (EM) to further improve the visual performance of PM outputs. Moreover, in LLIE tasks, characterizing global element correlations is important because more information on the same object can be captured. CNN cannot achieve this well, and self-attention has high time complexity. Accordingly, we propose Global Dynamic Convolution (GDC) with O(n) time complexity, which essentially imitates the partial calculation process of self-attention to formulate elementwise correlations. Based on the GDC module, we build the UGDC model. Extensive quantitative and qualitative experiments demonstrate that UGDC trained with TML can achieve competitive performance against state-of-the-art approaches on public datasets. Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-assisted mobile edge computing (MEC) and data collection (DC) have been popular research issues. Different from existing works that consider MEC and DC scenarios separately, this paper investigates a multi-UAV-assisted joint MEC-DC system. Specifically, we formulate a joint optimization problem to minimize the MEC latency and maximize the collected data volume. This problem can be classified as a non-convex mixed integer programming problem that exhibits long-term optimization and dynamics. Thus, we propose a deep reinforcement learning-based approach that jointly optimizes the UAV movement, user transmit power, and user association in real time to solve the problem efficiently. Specifically, we reformulate the optimization problem into an action space-reduced Markov decision process (MDP) and optimize the user association by using a two-phase matching-based association (TMA) strategy. Subsequently, we propose a soft actor-critic (SAC)-based approach that integrates the proposed TMA strategy (SAC-TMA) to solve the formulated joint optimization problem collaboratively. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed SAC-TMA is able to coordinate the two subsystems and can effectively reduce the system latency and improve the data collection volume compared with other benchmark algorithms.
