A new cable-driven soft endoscopic system is designed for cardiac ablation in a minimally invasive manner in this paper. The system is totally made of soft materials and has no rigid structures inside. In order to perform operation in the limited pericardium, a modified behavior-based control method inspired from animals is applied in this system. Experiments are performed to demonstrate the concept of prototype and manipulation approaches are feasible. As showed in these experimental results, the cable-driven soft endoscopic system has a strong potential in cardiac surgery.

When wind farm accepts grid scheduling, target load needs to dispatch to each wind turbine to complete. In order to improve the power control capability of the wind farm in the case of random wind fluctuations, a wind farm power control strategy, based on wind wheel rotation energy storage of variable speed wind turbine, is proposed. Firstly, a wind turbine energy storage assessment model is established, and an energy storage state evaluation method, which considers the balance of wind turbine rotational energy and regulating ability, is proposed. Based on this, a mathematical model of wind farm energy storage optimum is pretended, and a solving strategy based on genetic algorithm is designed, too. Finally, the platform for the implementation of the proposed control strategy is introduced. The control strategy proposed in this paper can effectively enhance the ability of the wind turbines' power control and reduce the impact of the uncertainty wind speed to the power response of the wind farm.

The input-to-state stability for a class of nonlinear switched descriptor systems is considered for two cases. Based on the average dwell time approach, sufficient conditions are derived to guarantee that the whole system is input-tostate stable through designing an appropriate switching rule. Compared with the existing methods, it is more convenient to design the controller for each subsystem, because it does not require to construct the input-to-state stable control Lyapunov function and to design the specific structure of the control inputs. Finally, two numerical examples show that the results obtained in this paper are feasible and effective.

A head pursuit optimal adaptive sliding mode guidance law is proposed to intercept high speed target in a novel head pursuit scenario with low maneuver requirement and energy consumption. Head pursuit is a new trajectory strategy which the interceptor with smaller velocity is placed in front of the target and both of them fly in the same direction. This engagement could reduce relative speed and energy consumption by its special trajectory strategy. Optimal strategy is derived on the basis of minimal control energy to achieve satisfactory precision. But this optimal strategy could only deal with non-maneuver target. Thus, an adaptive sliding mode method is implemented to eliminate the error, which is caused by the target maneuver. And implementation of this method does not need to know the detail information of target acceleration but some estimation to its limitation. What's more, with the constraint the optimal strategy exerts on the acceleration, the maneuver requirement is reduced and the energy consumption is cut down. The robustness and stability of this method has been proved theoretically. At last, the performance and precision of this method is verified with some numerical instances.

In view of the current domestic glass production enterprise which is lack of method to detect glass stones, cracks and other important defects. an online detection system for glass defect based on support vector machine is proposed in the paper. The paper is based on the research of image processing, feature extraction and pattern recognition. By using of object-oriented Visual c + + 6.0 programming tools, and combined with OpenCV computer vision library, this system can realize glass defect on-line detection and classification. The successful rate for the defect inspection of the system can reach over 95%.
