With very rich real-time data in DCS, how to turn real-time data into process-monitoring information and to present it effectively to the users, have been a difficulty of designing DCS-human interface for the process-monitoring. This paper presents an informationsystem model for the production process monitoring using IDEF0*. By putting into several levels of monitoring demand, the paper provides a design of human-machine interface for the monitoring information, fault reasons, operation scene and incidence. With this method, DCS monitoring system was designed for the distillation process as an example, and the effectiveness of this method was illustrated.

Marriage in Honey Bees Optimization (MBO) is a new swarm-intelligence method, but existing researches concentrate more on its application in single-objective optimization. In this paper, we focus on improving the algorithm to solve the multi-objective problem and increasing its convergence speed. The proposed algorithm is named as multi-objective Particle Swarm Marriage in Honey Bees Optimization (MOPSMBO). It uses non-dominated sorting strategy and crowded-comparison approach, utilizes the local Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) to perform the local characteristic, and simpler the structure of MBO. Based on the Markov chain theory, we prove that MOPSMBO can converge with probability one to the entire set of minimal elements. Simulations are done on several multi-objective test functions and multi-objective Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP). By comparing MOPSMBO with MOGA, NPGA, NSGA and NSGA-II, simulation results show that MOPSMBO has better convergence speed and can better converge near the true Pareto-optimal front.

This paper concerns the problem of stability analysis for a class of continuous-time planar linear systems with state saturation. Both full state saturation and partial state saturation are considered. The effect of state saturation on stability issue is first analyzed, based on which, necessary and sufficient conditions for continuous-time planar linear system with full or partial state saturation to be global asymptotic stable are given. These conditions are easy to check numerically.

Aim at the problem of the communication signal blind source separation, a novel blind separation algorithm based on step size adaptation (EASIBSA) to increase the convergence rate of the separation algorithm was present by using the idea of parameter adaptation optimization, which was based on Equivariant Adaptive Separation via Independent (EASI) algorithm. This algorithm related the learning rate with the object function and adapted it by using the stochastic gradient method, which avoided the selection of optimum learning rate and speed up the convergence rate. Simulation results showed that improved algorithm could increase the convergence rate of separation algorithm by two times without affecting the separation capability.

The problem of roust stabilization for linear time-varying uncertain periodic descriptor systems is revisited. Based on the concept of robust stability for linear time-varying uncertain periodic descriptor systems, a necessary and sufficient condition for robust stability is put forward. The robust stabilization problem is also studied and the corresponding necessary and sufficient condition is given using the notation of dual system. The obtained matrix inequality conditions can be transformed to linear matrix inequality ones with the introduction of some free matrices, which makes the analysis and design procedure simple and reliable.

The sensing performance of local detection in cognitive radio systems will be degraded when the channel experience fading and shadowing, and hidden terminal problem is inevitable for the primary transmitter-sensing. To overcome this problem, cooperative spectrum sensing has been proposed. We propose a twice-cooperative sensing algorithm to improve the sensing performance. By comparing to the single-cooperative, the simulations show that the proposed algorithm can enhance the sensing performance and the proposed algorithm can also save the band width of the control channel.

Cognitive radio was deemed to an effective solution to the current shortage of spectrum resources. The most important part of the technique is open spectrum access. A naive spectrum allocation between CR users may lead to significant interference and reduce and reduce the usage of the spectrum. In this paper, we first develop a graph-theoretical model to characterize the different traffic demands between CR users by using interfere graph, on the basis of traditional labeling system we propose a Traffic-demand algorithm base on the graph theoretical model, which can support the different traffic demands of CR users that change with time. Experimental results show that when the traffic demands of CR users are limited and change with time, our algorithm can dramatically improve the fairness and produce high efficiency of the spectrum allocation.

Automatic reclosure (AR) is extremely effective in improving the reliability, stability and security of the overall power system. However, the present autoreclosure operates blindly and practices employing a fixed time. In the case of permanent fault, a second shock to the system can cause irreparable damage to expensive equipments. According to characters of transient faults and permanent faults, this paper introduces the method of Bergeron line model into the field of single-phase adaptive reclosing (SPAR). Therefore, the paper proposes a novel scheme based on the calculation of Bergeron model to realize SPAR. Theoretical analysis and simulation prove that the proposed scheme of single-phase adaptive reclosing is valid with high sensitivity and reliability.
