In order to realize the human-like locomotion of humanoid, it is crucially important to study the gait patterns as well as stance control strategies of human walking from the human motion capture data so as to transfer them to humanoid. In this paper, we use a specially designed wearable motion capture system, which can simultaneously capture the motion of the lower limbs in the joint space, the stance of the pelvis and the back in the Descartes space, and the forces exerted on the sole of foot, to capture the motion data of subjects; and the captured walking data reveal some interesting gait patterns of human, in which the role of waist flexibility in human gait is remarkable. Thus we suggest that we should pay attention to the study of the mechanism of waist flexibility in human gait as well as the method of transferring the waist flexibility to humanoid.

The authentication error in Two-Hop wireless networks is considered without knowledge of eavesdropper channels and location. This paper presents an eavesdropper model with authentication error and two eavesdropping ways. In the model, the authentication error is expressed a pair(p_1, p_2). Based on the authentication error, a cooperative transmission protocol against impersonation attack is presented. Then, the number of eavesdroppers can be tolerated is analyzed while the desired secrecy is achieved with high probability in the limit of a large number of relay nodes. Final, we draw two conclusions for authentication error: 1) the impersonate nodes are chosen as relay is the dominant factor of the transmitted message leakage, and the impersonation attack does seriously decrease the number of eavesdroppers can be tolerated. 2) The Error authentication to legitimate nodes is almost no effect on the number of eavesdroppers can be tolerated.

This paper introduces a novel global patch matching method that focuses on how to remove fronto-parallel bias and obtain continuous smooth surfaces with assuming that the scenes covered by stereos are piecewise continuous. Firstly, simple linear iterative cluster method (SLIC) is used to segment the base image into a series of patches. Then, a global energy function, which consists of a data term and a smoothness term, is built on the patches. The data term is the second-order Taylor expansion of correlation coefficients, and the smoothness term is built by combing connectivity constraints and the coplanarity constraints are combined to construct the smoothness term. Finally, the global energy function can be built by combining the data term and the smoothness term. We rewrite the global energy function in a quadratic matrix function, and use least square methods to obtain the optimal solution. Experiments on Adirondack stereo and Motorcycle stereo of Middlebury benchmark show that the proposed method can remove fronto-parallel bias effectively, and produce continuous smooth surfaces. © Authors 2017.

In this paper,a two-degree-of-freedom(TDOF) control scheme for multi-input/multi-output(MIMO) systems with multiple time delays is ***,a novel inversing decoupler design method based on the ideal decoupling is proposed for decoupling the MIMO system with multiple time delays into several same independent single-input/single output(SISO) *** the H2 proportion-integral-derivative(PID) controller based on the internal model control(IMC) is applied to the obtained SISO ***,the second controller is developed according to the decoupled closed-loop transfer *** the decoupled SISO systems are the same,only one PID controller should be designed for the independent SISO *** proposed method can simplify the design task ***,because the TDOF control structure can isolate the disturbance from the reference,the controller of the reference loop can be used to improve the reference response *** are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed design approach.

The scalable and multiview extensions of the High Efficiency Video Coding share the same high-level syntax coding structure. For the scalable extension, the motion field of the inter-layer reference picture is modified through Motion Field Mapping before used for motion vector prediction. However, the motion field of the inter-layer reference picture is used without modification in the multiview extension. In this paper, a disparity-compensated inter-layer motion prediction is proposed for multiview video coding to achieve disparity compensation in inter-layer motion prediction using the scaled reference layer offset. The experimental results show that comparing with the multiview extension anchor, the proposed method achieves an average of 1.1% bitrate reduction.

In this paper, we introduce a measure quantifying the degree of synchrony for consensus networks in terms of the angle between the network state vector and the agreement subspace of R~n. The desynchronization of a consensus network is then examined by adopting a simple two-stubborn-input strategy, through which the network synchrony can be alleviated when the inputs are symmetric with respect to the origin. In particular, for tree graphs, we show that the proposed measure of synchrony is characterized by the so-called backbone path and can be computed efficiently by examining graph-theoretic properties of the network.

A new evaluation method for node importance is proposed with the combination of the node contraction method in complex networks and the functional analysis of the importance evaluation for power service in practical operation. The definite application of this algorithm features the particularity of the power industry. Firstly, we classify the power services, then relate the importance degree of power service to the edge weight which is used to calculate the node weight and its importance. An extended processing scheme for coherent integration and parameter estimation based on matched filtering in passive radar

In passive radars, coherent integration is an essential method to achieve processing gain for target detection. The cross ambiguity function(CAF) and the method based on matched filtering are the most common approaches. The method based on matched filtering is an approximation to CAF and the procedure is:(1) divide the signal into snapshots;(2) perform matched filtering on each snapshot;(3) perform fast Fourier transform(FFT) across the snapshots. The matched filtering method is computationally affordable and can offer savings of an order of 1000 times in execution speed over that of CAF. However, matched filtering suffers from severe energy loss for high speed targets. In this paper we concentrate mainly on the matched filtering method and we use keystone transform to rectify range migration. Several factors affecting the performance of coherent integration are discussed based on the matched filtering method and keystone transform. Modified methods are introduced to improve the performance by analyzing the impacts of mismatching, precision of the keystone transform, and discretization. The modified discrete chirp Fourier transform(MDCFT) is adopted to rectify the Doppler expansion in a multi-target scenario. A novel velocity estimation method is proposed, and an extended processing scheme presented. Simulations show that the proposed algorithms improve the performance of matched filtering for high speed targets.

This paper investigates the remote state estimation for the multi-sensor industrial cyber-physical systems (ICPSs) with the help of cognitive radio (CR) technology. The remote state estimator estimates the system states based on the measurements received from multi-sensor via the unreliable communication media, therefore, the performance of remote state estimation is up to the transmission reliability. In this paper, the redundant transmission is adopted to improve the reliability. Furthermore, the CR technology, which can intelligently discover the available spectrum opportunities in licensed bands, is exploited to alleviate the spectrum over-crowd problem aggravated by the redundancy design to improve the state estimation performance by. Specifically, we firstly formulate two CR enabled sequential optimization problems to improve the accuracy of state estimation and enhance the understanding of industrial plant. The primary one is to minimize the CR enabled estimation error subjected to the limited resource. The secondary one is to maximize the CR enabled best-effort data transmission volume subjected to the primary one's solutions. Secondly, a new sequence is constructed to approximate the limit-form objective function of the primary optimization problem. Finally, the two optimization problems are transformed into convex programming with the Lagrangian relaxation and Lagrangian dual decomposition techniques to reduce the computational complexity. Numerical results demonstrate that the CR technology reduces the mean square error of state estimation by about 40% and increases the volume of the best-effort data transmission by about 320%.
