In the process of power system res toration after a large power outage, the power support of wind farms is taken into account that it can speed up the restoration of the system. However, the uncertainty of wind farm output also increases the risk of secondary power outages. To solve this problem, this paper adopts the uncertain bi-level programming theory to establish a load recovery optimization model that takes into account the uncertainties of wind power and load, and the model converts it into load power and wind power forecasting errors for processing. Furthermore, the traditional deterministic power grid safe operation constraint is changed to a chance constraint in the form of confidence. In order to meet the requirements of online rapid decision-making, the normal distribution theory is used to transform the uncertainty model into its definite equivalence model, and CPLEX is used to solve it. Finally, an IEEE39-bus system with wind farms is taken as an example to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2021 IEEE.

Multi-pulse parallel demodulation for high-precision measurement in Raman-distributed optical fiber sensing

Raman distributed temperature sensors enables distributed measurement of temperature along the sensing fiber, which is widely used in production. Due to the limitation of the optical time-domain reflection principle, the temperature measurement accuracy of the sensors will be seriously affected when the length of the temperature variation region is shorter than the pulse width. In this work, the relationship between pulse width, fiber under test (FUT) length and FUT temperature is firstly studied. Then, a multi-pulse parallel demodulation scheme is proposed. The experiments depict that a temperature measurement accuracy is optimized from over 30°C to 1.55 °C with a 0.2 m temperature variation region over 5.6 km. The scheme is based on multi-pulse parallel measurements combined with numerical simulations to achieve equivalent short pulse measurements of the small-region temperature variation without changing the hardware structure of the sensors. This scheme reduces the hardware requirements of the sensors and avoids the problems of sensing distance reduction and signal-to-noise ratio deterioration caused by shortening the pulse width. © 2025 IEEE. The diversity of power supply structure increases the diversity of power generation resources, but it also brings the problem of how to correctly understand the value of power supply. In particular, to implement the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, not only the power generation cost but also its carbon reduction effect should be considered in the value of power generation resources. In view of the conversion of wind-coal value, this paper refers to the concept of the water-coal conversion coefficient, proposes the wind-coal value conversion coefficient, and establishes its analysis method, so as to realize the reasonable evaluation of the value of wind power and coal power in new power system dispatching. Based on the analysis of the technical characteristics of wind power generation, the prediction error of wind power was modeled using the scenario generation method, and carbon cost and green certificate revenue were introduced to construct a multi-scenario stochastic planning and scheduling model with the minimum total cost of electricity purchase. The model was solved based on the KKT condition, and the explicit expression of the wind-coal value conversion coefficient was derived by the Lagrange multiplier. Finally, a 4-unit system is taken as an example to verify that the proposed wind-coal value conversion coefficient can realize the equivalent value evaluation of wind coal, and the influence of the inequality constraint reaching the limit on the wind-coal value conversion coefficient is further discussed. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper examines the cluster consensus problem of higher-order interaction networks on switching networks. The matrix-valued inter-agent coupling mechanism is employed to capture the higher-order interactions amongst neighboring agents. Specifically, for a higher-order interaction network with both positive definite and positive semi-definite coupling matrices, we examine the scenario in which the nullspace of positive semi-definite coupling matrices is constructed by a set of orthogonal basis vectors. From the perspective of the lower-order component graph -the projection of network structure onto the direction of each orthogonal basis-results on the explicit characterization of cluster consensus of higher-order interaction networks are provided. Moreover, for time-varying higher-order interaction networks, necessary and sufficient conditions are provided to ensure that a time-varying network shares the same steady-state values as the integral time-invariant network. Simulation results are provided to demonstrate the theory. © 2024 IEEE.

When arriving at the airport,flight needs to be served by special *** at the dynamic time window scheduling problem of airport refueling vehicles,this paper establishes a vehicle routing problem model with time window to minimize the operating ***,a multi-strategy genetic algorithm is designed to gain the solve time window scheduling problem,which employs the crossover based on particle swarm optimization to accelerate the early search capability,and the local search method based on simulated annealing to increase the local optimization *** aiming at dynamically adjusting vehicle routes on the basis of static scheduling,a local replanning strategy based on a dynamic time window is introduced,which uses the original route matching and rescheduling *** results show that the multi-strategy hybrid algorithm can effectively reduce the number of routes and vehicles the airport *** different scales' dynamic changes of time windows,the algorithm could enable vehicles to still meet time constraints and effectively minimize the change of routes.

Cascading Failure Screening Based on Gradient Boosting Decision Tree for HVDC Sending-End systems with High Wind Power Penetration

In LCC-HVDC sending-end AC systems, cascading failures combined with the dynamic response of wind turbines (WTs) can lead to HVDC commutation failures. The resulting transient voltage disturbances cause WT tripping in sending-end systems. Cascading failures that involve the interaction between WTs and HVDC significantly limit the wind power transmitted by HVDC systems. This paper proposes an online cascading failure screening method based on gradient boosting decision tree (GBDT) for HVDC sending-end systems with large-scale WTs. First, a confidence level-based WT tripping model is proposed for cascading failure risk assessment considering a typical cascading failure propagation pattern. Then, Monte Carlo tree search is improved using a contrastive pruning technique to generate evenly distributed samples of cascading failures offline. Dynamic insecure scenarios are quickly identified using an improved support vector machine. Finally, GBDT is utilized to screen for cascading failures online by predicting subsequent high-risk failures using operating features. A dynamic weighting technique is proposed for GBDT to improve the fault prediction accuracy. Simulation results of a modified New England test system and the Ningxia provincial power grid in western China demonstrate that the proposed method can quickly screen for cascading failures considering the dynamic interaction between WTs and HVDC. © 1969-2012 IEEE.

Flight control system testing (FCST) is one of the most important testing during aircraft final assembly, however, traditional testing method highly rely on manual labor, resulting in low testing quality and efficiency. Targeting at improving the testing quality and efficiency, in this paper, we apply digtial twin (DT) technology in the FCST process for the first time. A virtual experimental platform named DT-FCST is constructed which is identical to a real wing experimental platform, supporting testing elements management and physical-virtual mapping experiments. The development process of the DT-FCST platform is detailed. Several experiments are conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of DT technology. Based on motion scripts integrating real-time data from the cockpit, the cockpit control sticks and flight control surfaces are driven to achieve consistency between physical and virtual motions. With the help of DT technology, the entire movement process of control sticks and flight control surfaces are mapped with high fidelity in the DT-FCST platform, greatly enhancing the testing efficiency and monitoring quality. © 2024 IEEE.

The distributed secondary control normally relies on the communication network to exchange information, yet non-negligible communication delays are thus introduced at the same time. Under the influence of communication delays, the well-designed distributed secondary controllers will have poor performance or even failed, making it difficult to meet the requirements for safe and stable operation of microgrids. To study the delay-related stability problem, a delay-concerned small-signal dynamic model of a microgrid under distributed control is developed. On the basis of this model, low-frequency eigenvalue spectrums of the microgrid system are calculated and a delay-related stability analysis is performed. Time-domain simulations are presented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2021 IEEE.

During the flight control system testing (FCST), it is crucial to accurately measure the deflection angles of flight control surfaces to determine whether they respond precisely to commands. However, the traditional measurement method, which relies on the manual use of angle measuring rulers for inspections, is inefficient, prone to wear, and lacks precision. To address this issue, we introduce a vision-based angle measurement method for FCST that replaces manual measurements, thereby significantly enhancing testing efficiency and accuracy. Our proposed triangular mesh alignment based angle measurement algorithm (TMA-AM) is a non-contact measurement method that involves two key procedures, capturing 3D coordinates from images and calculating deflection angles. The TMA-AM algorithm converts deflected angles into angular differences between two coordinate systems, while accounting for the curved characteristics of control surfaces. We evaluate TMA-AM algorithm on a 3D-printed wing test platform and an aircraft wing test platform. Experimental results demonstrate that our method achieves high accuracy, with an average angular measurement error below 0.05◦ © 2024 IEEE.
