Wormhole formation in f(R,T) gravity: Varying Chaplygin gas and barotropic fluid

In this paper, the formation of specific static wormhole models is discussed, by assuming an f(R,T)=R+2λT extended theory of gravity, T=−ρ+Pr+2Pl being the trace of the energy momentum tensor. In the first part, wormhole solutions are constructed imposing that the radial pressure admits an equation of state corresponding to a varying Chaplygin gas. Two forms for the varying Chaplygin gas are considered, namely Pr=−Bb(r)u/ρα and Pr=−BR(r)m/ρα, respectively. In the second part, the wormhole models are constructed assuming that the radial pressure can be described by a varying barotropic fluid. In particular, Pr=ωb(r)vρ and Pr=ω^rkR(r)ηρ are considered, respectively, leading to two additional, traversable wormhole models. In all cases, b(r) is the shape function, and R(r) the Ricci scalar obtained from the wormhole metric for a redshift function equal to 1. With the help of specific examples, it is demonstrated that the shape functions of the exact wormhole models previously constructed do obey the necessary metric conditions. The same energy conditions help reveal the physical properties of these models. A general feature is the violation of the null energy condition (NEC) (ρ+Pi≥0) in terms of the radial pressure Pr at the throat of the wormhole. For some of the models, one can satisfy the NEC at the throat while a violation of the dominant energy condition (DEC) (ρ−Pi≥0) occurs. To summarize, exact wormhole models can be constructed with a possible violation of the NEC and DEC at the throat of the wormhole, while being ρ≥0. Thus, the interesting feature appears that one has a violation of the weak energy condition (ρ≥0 and ρ+Pi≥0) not related to the energy density behavior (the index i, being r respectively l, indicates radial respectively lateral pressure).

Biexcitons are a manifestation of many-body excitonic interactions crucial for quantum information and quantum computation in the construction of coherent combinations of quantum states. However, due to their small binding energy and low transition efficiency, most biexcitons in conventional semiconductors exist either at cryogenic temperature or under femtosecond pulse laser excitation. Here we demonstrate room temperature, continuous wave driven biexciton states in CsPbBr3 perovskite nanocrystals through coupling with a plasmonic nanogap. The room temperature CsPbBr3 biexciton excitation fluence (~100 mW/cm2) is reduced by ~1013 times in the Ag nanowire-film nanogaps. The giant enhancement of biexciton emission is driven by coherent biexciton-plasmon Fano interference. These results provide new pathways to develop high efficiency non-blinking single photon sources, entangled light sources and lasers based on biexciton states. Copyright © 2018, The Authors. Many standard robotic platforms are equipped with at least a fixed 2D laser range finder and a monocular camera. Although those platforms do not have sensors for 3D depth sensing capability, knowledge of depth is an essential part in many robotics activities. Therefore, recently, there is an increasing interest in depth estimation using monocular images. As this task is inherently ambiguous, the data-driven estimated depth might be unreliable in robotics applications. In this paper, we have attempted to improve the precision of monocular depth estimation by introducing 2D planar observation from the remaining laser range finder without extra cost. Specifically, we construct a dense reference map from the sparse laser range data, redefining the depth estimation task as estimating the distance between the real and the reference depth. To solve the problem, we construct a novel residual of residual neural network, and tightly combine the classification and regression losses for continuous depth estimation. Experimental results suggest that our method achieves considerable promotion compared to the state-of-the-art methods on both NYUD2 and KITTI, validating the effectiveness of our method on leveraging the additional sensory information. We further demonstrate the potential usage of our method in obstacle avoidance where our methodology provides comprehensive depth information compared to the solution using monocular camera or 2D laser range finder alone.

An interacting new holographic dark energy in the framework of fractal cosmology

In this paper, we study an interacting holographic dark energy model in the framework of fractal cosmology. The features of fractal cosmology could pass ultraviolet divergencies and also make a better understanding of the universe in different dimensions. We discuss a fractal FRW universe filled with the dark energy and cold dark matter interacting with each other. It is observed that the Hubble parameter embraces the recent observational range while the deceleration parameter demonstrates an accelerating universe and a behavior similar to ΛCDM. Plotting the equation of state shows that it lies in phantom region for interaction mode. We use Om-diagnostic tool and it shows a phantom behavior of dark energy which is a condition of avoiding the formation of black holes. Finally we execute the StateFinder diagnostic pair and all the trajectories for interacting and non-interacting state of the model meet the fixed point ΛCDM at the start of the evolution. A behavior similar to Chaplygin gas also can be observed in statefinder plane. We find that new holographic dark energy model (NHDE) in fractal cosmology expressed the consistent behavior with recent observational data and can be considered as a model to avoid the formation of black holes in comparison with the main model of NHDE in the simple FRW universe. It has also been observed that for the interaction term varying with matter density, the model generates asymptotic de-Sitter solution. However, if the interaction term varies with energy density, then the model shows Big-Rip singularity. In this paper, we study the interacting DGP braneworld Holographic Dark Energy model in a spatially at FRW universe. Mainly, in this study we concentrate our attention on both interacting and non-interacting form of the model. The study shows that the equation of state and the deceleration parameter depict an accelerated universe for all variety of interactions. On the other hand, the StateFinder analysis shows that of the interacting and non-interacting behave similar to both quintessence and phantom dark energy and for the present value obey the behavior of quintessence. Moreover, the result of Om-diagnostic is an emphasis on the result of the equation of state showing that the current model is in the quintessence are with Phantom-like behavior in the late time. By the use of the squared sound speed v2 swe find that the present mode has a good stability. In order to obtain the best fit values of the parameters in this work we used the latest observational data (Pantheon, Boss DR12 and Planck 2015) implementing MCMC method by the use of EMCEE python package. We also employ Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) and Bayesian Information Criterion (BIC) model selection tools and compare the model with ACDM as the reference model. Copyright © 2018, The Authors. The paper proposes a class of compressive distributed adaptive filtering algorithms,aiming to estimate unknown high-dimensional and sparse parameters in sensor networks,based on compressive sensing(CS) *** algorithms first use compression estimation to obtain the compressed unknown parameters,then apply decompression algorithms to obtain the desired *** the paper,we focus on compressive distributed least mean square(CDLMS) algorithms and show that the algorithms can fulfil the estimation or tracking tasks under a compressed information condition,which is weaker than the information condition for distributed LMS algorithm in[1].
