Security distance analysis of active distribution network considering energy hub demand response

This study proposes a method for analyzing the security distance of an Active Distribution Network(ADN)by incorporating the demand response of an Energy Hub(EH).Taking into account the impact of stochastic wind-solar power and flexible loads on the EH,an interactive power model was developed to represent the EH’s operation under these ***,an ADN security distance model,integrating an EH with flexible loads,was constructed to evaluate the effect of flexible load variations on the ADN’s security *** considering scenarios such as air conditioning(AC)load reduction and base station(BS)load transfer,the security distances of phases A,B,and C increased by 17.1%,17.2%,and 17.7%,***,a multi-objective optimal power flow model was formulated and solved using the Forward-Backward Power Flow Algorithm,the NSGA-II multi-objective optimization algo-rithm,and the maximum satisfaction *** simulation results of the IEEE33 node system example demonstrate that after opti-mization,the total energy cost for one day is reduced by 0.026%,and the total security distance limit of the ADN’s three phases is improved by 0.1 *** method effectively enhances the security distance,facilitates BS load transfer and AC load reduction,and contributes to the energy-saving,economical,and safe operation of the power system.

Image-based virtual try-on technology aims to transfer a given clothing item onto the corresponding region of a human body image. Existing methods tend to suffer from generating significant amounts of artifacts, particularly when dealing with complex human poses or pose intersections. This limitation severely constrains the poses of input person image and consequently impacts the practicality of virtual try-on networks. To address this predicament, we propose a novel Correlation-Aware image-based Virtual Try-on Network (CA-VTON). Our method mainly consists of two components: a softmax-correlation-guided Optical Flow Warping Module (OFWM) to warp the clothing according to the pose of reference person, and a Try-on Image Synthesis Module (TISM) guided by pose correlation, which supervises the generation process of try-on results. Extensive qualitative and quantitative experiments validate the effectiveness of our proposed method. © 2024 IEEE.

Network-Assisted Full-Duplex Cell-Free mmWave Massive MIMO Systems with DAC Quantization and Fronthaul Compression

In this paper,we investigate networkassisted full-duplex(NAFD)cell-free millimeter-wave(mmWave)massive multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO)systems with digital-to-analog converter(DAC)quantization and fronthaul *** propose to maximize the weighted uplink and downlink sum rate by jointly optimizing the power allocation of both the transmitting remote antenna units(T-RAUs)and uplink users and the variances of the downlink and uplink fronthaul compression *** deal with this challenging problem,we further apply a successive convex approximation(SCA)method to handle the non-convex bidirectional limited-capacity fronthaul *** simulation results verify the convergence of the proposed SCA-based algorithm and analyze the impact of fronthaul capacity and DAC quantization on the spectral efficiency of the NAFD cell-free mmWave massive MIMO ***,some insightful conclusions are obtained through the comparisons of spectral efficiency,which shows that NAFD achieves better performance gains than cotime co-frequency full-duplex cloud radio access network(CCFD C-RAN)in the cases of practical limited-resolution ***,their performance gaps with 8-bit DAC quantization are larger than that with1-bit DAC quantization,which attains a 5.5-fold improvement.

Uncovering mechanism of photocatalytic performance enhancement induced by multivariate defects on SnS_(2)

Defect engineering is recognized as an effective route to obtain highly active photocatalytic ***,the current understanding of defects is mainly limited to isolated atomic vacancy defects,ignoring the exploration of the functions of multivariate defects formed by the deletion of several adjacent atoms in photocatalytic ***,we prepared SnS2 nanostructures with the same morphology but different dominant defects,and by testing their photocatalytic performance,it was found that the multivariate defects can significantly improve the photocatalytic performance than isolated S *** experiments and theoretical calculations,we confirmed that the promotion of multivariate defects,especially“S-Sn-S”vacancy associates,on the photocatalytic performance is reflected in many aspects,such as the regulation of the energy band structure,the improvement of the charge separation efficiency,and the promotion of the adsorption and activation of guest ***2 with“S-Sn-S”vacancy associates exhibits excellent photocatalytic water purification *** the induction of“S-Sn-S”vacancy associates,phenol was thoroughly photocatalytically decomposed,further confirming its excellent *** work not only provides new insights into identifying advantage defects in the catalyst structure,but also offers new ideas for constructing highly active photocatalysts based on defect engineering.

Promoting the contrast of mechanoresponsive luminescent materials is of great significance in the application of information storage and encryption. In this work, two D-p-A difluorideboron b-diketonate derivatives were developed by varying the structure of the p-bridge. By incorporating a C=C bond into the phenyl p-bridge of BF2-PhCz, BF2-PVCz with a phenyl vinyl p-unit achieved bathochromic fluorescence with a higher quantum yield and a higher contrast of mechanoresponsive luminescence (MRL). Theoretical calculations and experimental characterization revealed the C=C bond contributed to the enhanced oscillator strength of the molecule and head-to-head molecular packing in the crystal. The applications of reversible writing and information deep-encryption were then realized based on the high-contrast and reversible MRL behavior of BF2-PVCz. © The Royal Society of Chemistry 2025.

Mechanical responses and fracturing behaviors of coal under complex normal and shear stresses,Part Ⅰ:Experimental results

This work presents experimental tests based on coal collected from a coal mine based underground water reservoir(CMUWR).The mechanical responses of dry and water-soaked coal samples under the complex normal and shear stresses under multi-amplitude and variable frequency is *** experimental results reveal the effects of stress path,water soaking and frequency on deformation,energy dissipation,secant modulus and shear failure surface *** experimental results show that when normal and shear stresses are applied simultaneously,there is a significant competitive relationship between *** the dominant side,the strain rate will be significantly *** sample under a loading frequency of 0.2 Hz exhibits a longer fatigue *** the cyclic shear test,the shear strain of the water-soaked sample is higher than that of the dry *** average roughness coefficient of failure surface exhibits an increasing pattern with increase in shear strength,the elevated roughness of a shear surface is advantageous in constraining shear displacements of specimens,thereby lowering the energy *** study can provide theoretical and practical implications for a long-term safety evaluation of CMUWR.

Study of the geomagnetic field's regional gradients in Chinese continent using three-dimensional surface Spline model

We combined domestic ground-based and satellite magnetic measurements to create a regional three-dimensional surface Spline(3DSS)gradient model of the main geomagnetic field over the Chinese *** improve the precision of the model,we considered the data gap between the ground and satellite *** compared and analyzed the results of the Taylor polynomial,surface Spline,and CHAOS-6(the CHAMP,?rsted and SAC-C model of Earth’s magnetic field)gradient *** showed that the gradients in the south-north and east-west directions of the four models were *** 3DSS model was able to express not only gradients at different altitudes,but also average gradients inside the research *** two Spline models were able to capture more information on gradient anomalies than were the fitted *** local anomalies were observed in northern Xinjiang,Beijing,and the junction area between Jiangsu and Zhejiang,and the total intensity F decreased whereas the altitude *** gradient decreased by 21.69%in the south-north direction and increased by 11.78%in the east-west *** addition,the altitude gradient turned from negative to positive while the altitude *** Spline model and the two fitted models differed mainly in the field sources they expressed and the modeling theory.

Ballistic impact response of resistance-spot-welded(RSW) double-layered plates for Q&P980 steel

Ballistic impact response of resistance-spot-welded(RSW)double-layered(2×1.6 mm)plates(190 mm×150 mm)for Q&P980 steel impacted by a round-nosed steel bullet(12 mm diameter and 30 mm length)was investigated by using gas gun and high-speed camera *** RSW specimens were spot welded using a 6 mm diameter electrode face producing a 7.2 mm diameter fusion zone of the spot *** ballistic curve and energy balance for the tests of the spot weld of the RSW specimens at different velocity were analyzed to characterize the ballistic behavior of the RSW specimens under bullet *** fracture mechanisms of the RSW specimens under bullet impact were *** the tests below the ballistic limit,the cracks initiated from the notch-tip and propagated along the faying surface or obliquely through the thickness depending on the impact *** the tests above the ballistic limit,the plug fracture in the front plate of the RSW specimen could be caused by the thinning-induced necking in the BM near the HAZ,while the plug fracture in the rear plate of the RSW specimens may be consist of the circumferential cracking from the rear surface and the bending fracture of the hinged part of *** effects of the electrode indentation and the weld interfaces on deformation and fracture of the RSW specimens under bullet impact were *** the tests above the ballistic limit,the circumferential fracture from the rear surface of the RSW specimens was always initiated along the interior periphery of the electrode indentation and the crack paths were along the FZ/CGHAZ or CGHAZ/FGHAZ *** the circumferential crack also formed outside the electrode indentation,the fracture on the BM/HAZ interface could be *** the front plate of the RSW specimens,the shear/bending induced cracking from the notch-tip were observed and the crack paths were along the FZ/CGHAZ or CGHAZ/FGHAZ interface.

LOCAL STRUCTURE-PRESERVING ALGORITHMS FOR THE KLEIN-GORDON-ZAKHAROV EQUATION

In this paper, using the concatenating method, a series of local structure-preserving algorithms are obtained for the Klein-Gordon-Zakharov equation, including four multisymplectic algorithms, four local energy-preserving algorithms, four local momentumpreserving algorithms;of these, local energy-preserving and momentum-preserving algorithms have not been studied before. The local structure-preserving algorithms mentioned above are more widely used than the global structure-preserving algorithms, since local preservation algorithms can be preserved in any time and space domains, which overcomes the defect that global preservation algorithms are limited to boundary conditions. In particular, under appropriate boundary conditions, local preservation laws are global preservation *** experiments conducted can support the theoretical analysis well.
