In order to solve the challenges of high-precision maps based on lidar 3D point clouds, which are expensive on-vehicle sensors and high computing power requirements, the academic community has proposed a cognitive map solution with low cost, small amount of data, and moderate positioning accuracy. The current cognitive map mainly relies on the geometric relationship between road signs and lane lines to complete vehicle positioning, and the local positioning accuracy needs to be further improved. This paper proposes a real-time vectorized map modeling solution, using a vectorized map instead of a discrete point map to support a vehicle positioning solution based on road geometry, thereby improving the local positioning accuracy of the vehicle. At the same time, in order to solve the problem of vehicle global positioning, this paper adopts a location recognition algorithm based on the perspective of the vehicle to complete the global location estimation of the vehicle on a large scale only by relying on the vision, so as to serve the navigation function. © 2022 ACM.

Nowadays, human body motion detection is closely related to national defense security, urban public security, and people's daily lives. In this paper, the pyroelectric sensor is utilized to detect the different electrical signals generated by the human body when making various movements. By designing the pyroelectric infrared sensor unit, signal processing unit, microcontroller data acquisition unit, and Labview host computer display unit, the electrical signals from the infrared sensor were collected. Through experiments capturing the pyroelectric infrared signals of human stepping and jumps, an analysis and comparison of the two types of motion signals were conducted, successfully distinguishing between stepping and jumping actions. © 2024 IEEE.

Preparation of P-Cds Functionalized Α-Zrp Flake Fillers and Enhancing Anti-Corrosion Properties of Epoxy Coatings

2D nanofillers can effectively improve coatings' barrier and anti-corrosion properties,but are less compatible with coatings and prone to agglomeration. In this paper, phosphorus-doped carbon dots (P-CDs) were prepared using a hydrothermal method to improve the dispersion of α-zirconium phosphate (α-ZrP), which was used as a filler to be added to the waterborne epoxy (WEP). The corresponding modified WEP coatings are prepared on Q235 substrates through the scrape coating method with exhibited long-term anti-corrosion performance. The effect of fillers on the physical and chemical properties of the coatings were studied by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), neutral salt spray test, and immersion test. The results of electrochemical test show that the |Z|0.01Hz value of the coating prepared by P-CDs@ZrP as the filler after soaking in 3.5wt% NaCl solution for 30 d is three orders of magnitude higher than that of the WEP coating, and the corrosion resistance is greatly improved. The salt spray and soaking tests prove that the prepared P-CDs@ZrP coatings have excellent barrier properties and corrosion resistance. Besides, P-CDs can also act as the effective passivation agent, which could adsorb on the surface of Q235 substrate and form a passivation film, preventing further corrosion of the substrate. This study provides a new way to enhance the corrosion resistance of the coating. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Whether epoxy resin is degraded or not in composite insulators is the most direct criterion to distinguish Decay-like fracture from brittle fracture and normally mechanical fracture. During the actual operation of composite insulators, the nitric acid produced by partial discharge and abnormal heating will accelerate the degradation and deterioration of epoxy resin of composite insulators. In this paper, the experimental platform under acid-heat condition is built by using heating furnace, grinding bottle and serpentine condensation tube, and the acid-heat deterioration experiments are carried out under 60 °C (3 mol/L and 5 mol/L) and 80 °C (3 mol/L and 5 mol/L) condition. The macroscopic and microscopic morphologies of epoxy resin after acid-heat deterioration are analyzed, and the morphology changes of epoxy resin under the influence of acid-heat coupling field are studied. Firstly, it is concluded that the epoxy resin changes directly from colorless to light yellow, and then from light yellow to dark yellow under the influence of acid-heat deterioration. In addition, in the early stage of deterioration, the bulge on the surface of epoxy resin decreases gradually. Meanwhile, the maximum height difference and standard deviation of the surface profile of epoxy resin also gradually decreases, and the roughness decreases. In the later stage of deterioration, cracks appear on the surface of epoxy resin and some epoxy resins fall off. At the same time, the maximum height difference and standard deviation of surface profile of epoxy resin increases. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Virtual coupling presents a promising solution for enhancing urban rail transit efficiency through collaborative operations facilitated by information communication rather than physical connections. However, effectively controlling virtual coupling trains presents substantial challenges, particularly in managing implicit and nonlinear safety constraints. This paper proposes a novel adaptive hierarchical control approach to address these challenges, modeling the control problem as a Constrained Markov Decision Process (CMDP). The proposed approach integrates an upper controller utilizing safe reinforcement learning (RL) and a lower controller employing Proportional Integral Derivative (PID). Safe RL incorporates an unrolling safety layer (USL) into the RL algorithm, effectively addressing safety constraints inherent in the system. Additionally, dynamic adjustment of PID parameters based on the state of the virtual coupling trains enables precise control of train operations. This hierarchical architecture capitalizes on the adaptability of safe RL while leveraging the stability of PID, facilitating dynamic strategy adjustments in response to environmental changes to ensure virtual coupling stability and reliability. Simulation experiments validate the efficacy of the proposed approach, demonstrating significant advantages in controlling virtual coupling trains and thereby enhancing operational efficiency and safety.

To investigate the deformation mechanisms of rock under hydrostatic stress, destructive experiments were conducted on sandstone under different levels of hydrostatic stress and stress Lode angles. The results reveal that the shape of the strength envelope on the π plane gradually changes from the shape of the Lade criterion to the shape of the Drucker-Prage criterion with an increase in hydrostatic ***, there exists a deviation between the strain and stress paths for porous rocks on the π plane,and the deviation decreases with an increase in stress Lode angle and hydrostatic stress. A rock failure hypothesis based on the rock porous structure was proposed to investigate the reasons for the abovementioned phenomena. It was found that the shear expansion in the minimum principal stress direction is the dominant factor affecting the Lode angle effect(LAE);the magnitude of the hydrostatic stress induces the variation of the porous structure and influences the shear expansion. Therefore, the hydrostatic stress state affects the LAE. The failure hypothesis proposed in this paper can clarify the hydrostatic stress effect, LAE, and the variation of the rock strength envelope shape.

Our study is to improve the accuracy of bone morphology depicted in dental cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) images. First, successive statistical iterative reconstruction was used to reduce unavoidable streak artefacts. Then 3-dimentional filtering (Gaussian-Laplacian filter) and region growing methods were examined to present clear bone morphology. CBCT examinations were performed with the following principal exposure parameters: I-mode, FOV 10cm in diameter, 120 kV, 15 mA, 0.2 mm slice thickness, and exposure time of 10s. Ordered subset-expectation maximization (OS-EM) algorithm was applied for unavoidable streak artefact reduction. 3D Laplacian sharpening to images preprocessed by Gaussian smoothing was sequentially tested. Region growing method with dilation and erosion was used to segment maxillofacial tissue. Streak artefact induced by metallic prosthetic appliances was reduced by applying successive iterative OS-EM algorithm. Multi-planar reconstruction (MPR) images at left side molar plane and mid-sagittal plane were presented to validate effect of OS-EM algorithm and 3D Gaussian-Laplacian filter. Maxillofacial tissue was segmented and presented to show the effect of region growing method. Streak artefact reducing method, 3D filtering method for image smoothing and sharpening, and region growing method with dilation and erosion were effective to improve accuracy of bone morphology in dental CBCT images. © 2022 ACM.

The cyber network attacks on the Internet have the characteristics of diversity,uncertainty and *** paper proposes a hybrid support vector machine(HSVM)-based classification method for real-time cyber network attack *** the supervised environment,a one-class classifier is built to divide the unknown attack traffic into 'other classes',and a new extension module is established for the identified unknown attacks,so as to improve the classification accuracy of unknown ***,an online training algorithm is used to enable the classifier to quickly distinguish cyber network attacks and improve the timeliness of the intrusion detection *** verify the effectiveness of the proposed method is employed,three classifiers,i.e.,the random forest,the support vector machine and the multi-layer perceptron are employed for comparative experiments based on the public data set *** show that the proposed method has the advantages of higher classification accuracy and less time consumption.
