In this paper, the problem of guarding a circular area is proposed and solved using a Stackelberg differential game theoretic approach. The objective of the attacker is to breach the perimeter of the defended area, while the defenders endeavor to thwart such attempts. The dynamics of the attack-defense game are modeled according to the distance and position relations among defenders, attackers, and the center of defense area. The optimal Stackelberg equilibrium control strategies for both defenders and attackers are designed to guarantee the defense mission's success. Then, the effectiveness of the proposed method is validated through numerical simulation.

Graphene oxide(GO)has been widely used in the modification of membranes due to its excellent properties,i.e.,huge specific surface area,good electrical conductivity,good hydrophilicity and various functional *** addition of GO in membranes were proved to exhibit improved properties in water permeability,molecular selectivity,membrane fouling mitigation and contaminants ***,the development of laminated GO in membranes achieved both high selectivity and high water permeability,conquering the limitations of conventional polymeric or inorganic *** analyzing the separation mechanisms and the performance of GO composite membranes,this review systematically summarized the applications of GO composite membranes in three highlighted areas of environmental fields:desalination,gas separation and wastewater treatment,with challenges discussed faced with GO composite membranes.

Few shot object detection is a challenging task in computer vision, as it involves detecting objects from a small number of examples. This makes it difficult for traditional object detection methods to generalize well to new classes or scenes. In this paper, we propose a siamese neural network model that utilizes the power of Faster RCNN for few shot object detection. The network takes in support and query datasets and extracts both support and query features. To supplement category information between various support features, we use Pearson similarity to enhance the features and extract support prototypes. We propose a graph attention network that can perform association matching between support prototype and proposals. Through this network, we facilitate information exchange between support features and query features, which helps to supplement the information of query images. We divide the training process into two stages. In the first stage, we use a large amount of basic category data to train the basic detection ability. In the second stage, we further train our model on few shot novel class and base class mixed datasets to improve its generalization performance. Experimental results on the public Pascal VOC dataset demonstrate that our proposed method achieves state-of-the-art few shot object detection performance.

Dynamic Distribution of Water-Heat State in Permafrost Highway Foundations Considering the Effects of Replacement Cushion

Road hazards in permafrost regions of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau have become increasingly severe due to climate change, environmental shifts, and engineering thermal effects. Replacement cushions play a pivotal role in enhancing the stability and durability of highway foundations. Combined with the replacement cushion design of the Gonghe-Yushu Freeway, this study employs numerical simulations to analyze the water-heat distribution of foundations under three replacement materials: fine sand, coarse sand, and gravel. The findings reveal that gravel cushion exhibits excellent temperature regulation, effectively reducing the heat transfer from the subgrade to the underlying foundation. However, free surface water invades the deeper foundation, leading to increased magnitude and oscillation amplitude of unfrozen water content in the permafrost beneath the replacement cushion. The moisture migration caused by replacement cushioning adversely affects the long-term maintenance of foundation mechanical properties. Therefore, the adoption of this replacement method in engineering practice should be approached cautiously, with careful consideration of the climate, environment, and topographic features of the road area. © 2024, The Authors. Streamlined radomes of hypersonic vehicles require electromagnetic (EM) transparency, as well as thermomechanical resistance. Current design methods for high-temperature streamlined radomes are limited to single-frequency designs. This letter presents a design approach for streamlined radomes that achieve dual-band EM transparency within the 4–40GHz range, along with thermomechanical resistance. The design employs a nine-layer silicon nitride ceramic graded dielectric multilayered wall. The realistic non-uniform temperature boundary plays a crucial role, which provides a sufficiently large design space for optimizing EM performance. The designed radomes possess an average insertion loss (IL) of less than 1.00 dB along with a low boresight error (BSE). It is worth noting that the artificial intelligence algorithm accelerates the optimization process by 13 times, making the design more efficient. © 2002-2011 IEEE.

The autonomous proximity maneuver phase is the prerequisite part of the on-orbit service, and it presents a set of challenges. One such challenge is that the service spacecraft is required to complete the proximity task within the specified time while satisfying some attitude-position coupled constraints, such as field of view (FOV) constraint, collision avoidance constraint. This paper addresses the problem of six degrees of freedom (6-DOF) finite-time pose control with multiple constraints. Firstly, the FOV and collision avoidance constraints are represented as pyramid envelopes closer to the actual case than the commonly used cone and sphere envelope with less conservative. In particular, a novel method is presented to model the pyramid envelope in the dual-quaternion frame. Then, based on the pyramid constraints model properties, a new convex artificial potential function (APF) with only one global minimum is designed, which combines the pose constraints with the control design process. An APF based finite-time control law is proposed to control the rotational and translational motion reaching the desired states in a specified time without violating the constraints. Moreover, the adaptive update law guarantees the control system's robustness in the presence of disturbance and parameter uncertainties. The practical finite-time stability is demonstrated through the finite-time Lyapunov theory. Numerical results are carried out to show the effectiveness of the proposed control law. © 2021 by International Astronautical Federation (IAF). All rights reserved.

The aim of this study is to explore optimization control methods for suspension systems during the flight of quadcopters. The traditional control method of suspension system has some problems such as oscillation and instability, so an optimization scheme based on Gaussian pseudo-general algorithm is proposed in this paper. Through numerical simulation and actual flight test, the effectiveness of the optimization algorithm in improving system stability and reducing oscillation amplitude is verified. At the same time, this study conducted a comparative analysis of the suspension system of the quadrotor vehicle and the free fall body, and the optimization algorithm is found to be feasible and can well improve the control accuracy and stability of the system, and provide strong support for the safety of the quadrotor vehicle in various application scenarios.

High-temperature Oxidation Behavior of Barrel Materials

With the increase in firepower strike requirements and the development of high-powered artillery, the high-temperature oxidation of barrel materials is becoming more and more serious, which seriously affects the performance of weapon and even leads to the scrapping of weapon. However, there is little research on the anti-oxidation performance of barrel materials at present. In this paper, the oxidation resistances and oxidation mechanisms of three barrel materials, i. e.,PCrNi3MoVA steel. 30SiMn2MoVA steel and MPS700 steel, at 600 ℃ in airare investigated. The cross-sectional morphology and phases of the oxide layers are analyzed by scanning electron microscopy, energy spectroscopy and X-ray diffractometry. The oxidation kinetics of three barrrel materials were analyzed. The results show that the oxide film thicknesses of the three steels gradually thicken and the rate of increaseinthickness gradually decreaseswith the increase in oxidation time. The oxidation kinetics curves of the three barrel materials are consistent with the parabolic growth kinetics law of oxide film. At 600 ℃, the internal oxide layer of PCrNi3MoVA steel forms an adhesive layer of a network structure consisting mainlyof Ni and Cr-richspinel oxides but theadhesive layerdoes not act as a barrier against oxidation. The inner layer of oxide layer of 30SiMn2MoVA steel is a porous aggregation zone of Si element oxide with a loose structure and relatively serious oxide flaking. The internal oxide layer of MPS700 steel forms a protective Cr-rich oxide layer that effectively prevents further oxidation. At the same time, Mo element stabilises the passivation film and indirectly improves oxidation resistance. Compared with PCrNi3MoVA steel and 30SiMn2MoVA steel, MPS700 steel can better form a dense oxidized layer under high temperature condition, so as to reduce the high temperature oxidation and wear degree of the matrix under high temperature conditions. One-step architecture of bifunctional petal-like oxygen-deficient NiAl-LDHs nanosheets for high-performance hybrid supercapacitors and urea oxidation

Nickel-based layered double hydroxides(LDHs)are promising electrode materials in the fields of energy storage(supercapacitors)and conversion(urea oxidation).The rational construction of atomic and electronic structure is crucial for nickel-based LDHs to realize their satisfactory electrochemical ***,we report a facile,ecofriendly,one-step synthesis process to construct petal-like oxygen-deficient NiAl-LDH nanosheets for hybrid supercapacitors(HSCs)and urea oxidation reaction(UOR).The asprepared NiAl-LDH nanosheets with rich oxygen vacancies possess a large specific surface area of 216.6 m2 g^(-1) and a desirable electronic conductivity of 3.45×10^(–4)S cm^(-1) to deliver an ultra-high specific capacitance of 2801 F g^(-1)(700 C g^(-1))at 1 A g^(-1).Furthermore,high specific energy of 50.0 W h kg^(-1) at 400 W kg^(-1) and excellent cycle stability with 91%capacitance retention after 10,000 cycles are achieved by the NiAl-LDHs/CFP(carbon fiber paper)(+)//YP-80F(a commercial activated carbon)(–)***,NiAl-LDH nanosheets also work as an efficient electrocatalyst for UOR,which only requires 1.42 V *** hydrogen electrode to drive 10 mA cm^(–2) in 1 mol L^(-1) KOH with 0.33 mol L^(-1) *** remarkable performance is superior to most reported values of previous candidates owing to the thin structure of NiAl-LDH nanosheets for exposing more active sites and abundant oxygen *** addition,various reaction parameters are investigated to optimize the electrochemical *** general,this work paves a new way for the architecture of multifunctional nanostructured energy materials.
