本研究旨在开发一种高效的细长梁单元,精确描述细长柔性结构的大变形和大旋转,在现有细长梁单元研究的基础上,提出一种基于SO(3)群活动标架的二阶几何精确Kirchhoff梁单元(GEKBF),用于细长梁的动力学研究.首先,在此标架中推导出运动学描述和几何、本构和动态平衡方程及其线性化.然后,引入相对扭转角的二阶插值函数,以提高单元的收敛性,通过选择合适的标架来开发旋转矢量参数化.它可以显著减少由刚体旋转引起的几何非线性,并提高描述当前标架下单元旋转公式的计算效率.此外,考虑了参考标架的影响,并使用空间平行移动而非时间平行移动,简化了弹性力和雅可比矩阵的推导.使用李群广义α-方法求解李群上的半离散运动方程.最后,通过数值实例验证了GEKBF的准确性,包括静力学和动力学.

In order to avoid the adverse effects of the access of renewable energy sources on automatic reclosing, reclosing is usually done by cutting out renewable energy power supply after the fault occurs and extending the reclosing setting time. But this will lead to the interruption of power supply to a large number of local loads, which is not conducive to the efficient use of renewable energy sources. In this paper, a new reclosing method for substation lines with inverter-type renewable energy source access is proposed. This method can keep the inverter-type renewable energy source running continuously during reclosing, and ensure the continuity of power supply of important loads. Firstly, it is pointed out that the control strategy of renewable energy source must be switched during reclosing, to make it have the basic island operation capability. Then, to maintain the power balance between renewable energy source and load, the method of using load shedding cooperating with unloading resistors during reclosing is proposed. Finally, the reclosing operation will be performed when the synchronization conditions are met. And simulation under different working conditions is carried out on PSCAD/EMTDC platform, which verified the feasibility of the proposed reclosing strategy. © 2023 IEEE.

Lightweight composite structures are increasingly utilised in rail vehicle crashworthy systems due to their excellent strength-to-weight ratio and energy absorption capacity. Among these, steel/carbon fibre reinforced polymer (CFRP) hybrid square tubes offer a promising balance of structural efficiency and mechanical performance. However, conventional hybrid tubes often suffer from premature buckling and insufficient energy dissipation under axial impact. To address these limitations, this study proposes a novel energy-absorbing design by filling steel/CFRP hybrid tubes with a bio-inspired hexagonal-quadrilateral lattice structure (HQLS). The relative density of the HQLS is derived analytically, and AlSi10Mg is selected as the lattice material based on tensile characterisation. Quasi-static compression tests are conducted to validate a finite element model, achieving a simulation error below 4 %. A Tcl-based parametric modelling strategy is developed, enabling efficient generation of 130+ finite element models. A design of experiments (DOE) approach combining Hammersley sampling method explores the influence of lattice wall thickness (0.5–0.9 mm), unit cell height (4–7 mm), and steel/CFRP thickness ratio (0.5–2.0). Results show that lattice wall thickness most significantly affects mean crush force (MCF), enhancing it by up to 24.6 %, while the steel/CFRP thickness ratio predominantly influences specific energy absorption (SEA). To a great extent, electric machine (EM) lifetime is affected by electrical failures that compromise the integrity of the windings electrical insulation system (EIS). During EMs operation, the EIS suffered various stresses, such as, thermal, electrical, mechanical and ambient (TEAM), which lead the deterioration and decrease the dielectric property of EIS. However, under rated operating conditions, the entire degradation process can take several years before insulation breakdown occurs. Thus, accelerated lifetime tests (ALT) are conventionally performed on various high stress level. Furthermore, the suitable specimen topology should be chosen according to the ALT task objectives, which is also crucial to the resulted lifetime values. In this paper, ALTs at variable temperature profile are performed using two types of specimens (i.e., coils and motorettes). Then, the collected lifetime data are analyzed by statistical tools and the underlying stress mechanism is discussed. Finally, the thermal-mechanical stress is pointed out as the primary factor contributing to lifetime prediction mismatch. © 2024 IEEE.

Proactive security defense: cyber threat intelligence modeling for connected autonomous vehicles

Cybersecurity has become a crucial concern in the field of connected autonomous vehicles. Cyber threat intelligence (CTI), as the collection of cyber threat information, offers an ideal way for responding to emerging cyber threats and realizing proactive security defense. However, instant analysis and modeling of vehicle cybersecurity data is a fundamental challenge since its complex and professional context. In this paper, we suggest an automotive CTI modeling framework, Actim, to extract and analyse the interrelated relationships among cyber threat elements. Specifically, we first design a vehicle security-safety conceptual ontology model to depict various threat entity classes and their relations. Then, we manually annotate the first automobile CTI corpus by using real cybersecurity data, which comprises 908 threat intelligence texts, including 8195 entities and 4852 relationships. To effectively extract cyber threat entities and their relations, we propose an automotive CTI mining model based on cross-sentence context. Experiment results show that the proposed BERT-DocHiatt-BiLSTM-LSTM model exceeds the performance of existing methods. Finally, we define entity-relation matching rules and create a CTI knowledge graph that structurally fuses various elements of cyber threats. The Actim framework enables mining the intrinsic connections among threat entities, providing valuable insight on the evolving cyber threat landscape. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. It is essential to achieve real-time fault detection of the industrial process to reduce the occurrence of accidents during the industrial process. However, there are some problems in the actual monitoring process, such as the instability of sensor measurement, losing packet while transferring data, which causes problems like missing data and outliers while sampling from actual monitoring data. In addition, the monitoring data are interrelated in time series. Thus, a fault detection method based on DMPPCA model is proposed in this study. DMPPCA can not only consider the above problems at the same time, but also determine the dimension of latent variables automatically. Finally, the effect of proposed DMPPCA model was validated by a three-phase flow facility. © 2022 IEEE.

Iron and nitrate(NO_(3)^(-))are dominant physiologically required nutrients for phytoplankton growth,and iron may also play a key role in the marine nitrogen *** this study,we investigated the temporal and spatial distributions of dissolved iron(DFe)and Fe(Ⅱ)in the surface waters of Jiaozhou Bay(JZB)from April 2 to July 26,*** concentrations of DFe and Fe(Ⅱ)predominantly occurred in nearshore and estuarine stations and concentrations were generally higher in April and *** highest DFe concentration was observed along the coast of Hongdao(51.55 nmol/L)in May,while the lowest concentration was observed in the western coastal region(2.88 nmol/L)in *** highest and lowest Fe(Ⅱ)concentrations were observed in the Licun estuary(22.42 nmol/L)and outer bay(0.50 nmol/L)in May,*** calculated the proportions of nitrate,nitrite,and ammonium in dissolved inorganic nitrogen(DIN)as well as the ratio of Fe(Ⅱ)to DFe in all four *** mean Fe(Ⅱ)/DFe ratio was 0.48 in April,0.43 in May,0.69 in June,and 0.32 in *** mean ratio of NO_(3)^(-)to DIN was 0.78 in April,0.54 in May,0.20 in June,and 0.62 in ***_(3)^(-)/DIN continuously decreased in the first three months,while Fe(Ⅱ)/DFe remained high,which suggests that the reduction of iron and nitrate occurred simultaneously in the surface waters of JZB.
