Integration of 3DGIS and BIM and its application in visual detection of concealed facilities

urban Comprehensive Carrying Capacity(UCCC)can describe the development of a city and is an important guarantee for its sustainable ***-Living-Ecological Space(PLES)is an important guideline for the optimal development of China's land space in the new *** on the PLES,we construct a UCCC index system and analyzed the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of the UCCC of each city in Zhejiang Province from 2006 to *** addition,a coupling coordination degree model and an obstacle degree model are introduced to analyze the coupling coordination degree of the development of PLES of each city and the main constraint indicators,respectively,and a GM(1,1)model is used to predict the UCCC of each city in Zhejiang Province from 2021 to *** study indicates that(1)the UCCC of each city is steadily increasing,with a growth rate of over 30％in 15 years.(2)As of 2020,the highest degree of coupling coordination reaches only 0.508,and it remains a major challenge for cities to improve the coordination degree of land use.(3)Some production space and living space indicators are the main obstacle indicators hindering the development of the UCCC in Zhejiang Province.(4)The forecast results show that the UCCC in each city will still maintain an upwards trend in the following 6 years and will gradually reach a high carrying capacity level.

A slice-based encryption scheme for IPFS

The interplanetary file system (IPFS) has been used more and more widely because of its advantages of smooth integration with the current blockchain platform and its advantages as a distributed file system. However, the authors found that IPFS has some privacy issues;it cannot completely avoid unauthorised access to data by malicious nodes. In response to this problem, the authors propose a lightweight encryption scheme based on the characteristics of IPFS file slicing combined with AES256 and SHA256, which can be smoothly integrated into IPFS. During the upload process, this scheme encrypts some sliced file blocks according to the strategy formulated by the user. During the download process, the encrypted block is identified and decrypted according to a special encryption method. Through this scheme, the system can increase file security without affecting the performance of IPFS itself and retain the deduplication effect of IPFS to the utmost extent. High-definition maps (HD maps) are crucial for the development of autonomous driving and intelligent transportation technologies. However, the numerous and complex regulations related to HD maps present significant challenges for map production and review personnel when querying and understanding these regulations. Additionally, different interpretations of the same regulation by various individuals can affect the efficiency of data processing and application. To address these issues, this study is based on relevant Chinese standards and regulations, and establishes a Knowledge Graph for High-Definition Map Review Standards (KGMRS) through entity extraction and knowledge integration processes, incorporating expert experience. KGMRS is stored in a Neo4j graph database, enabling structured management and rapid querying of regulatory texts. Based on this research, a knowledge-guided, algorithm-based automatic map review application framework for HD maps is proposed, aiming to enhance the automation level of map data review. The results show that KGMRS significantly improves the query efficiency and utilization rate of high-definition navigation electronic map standards, markedly enhancing data standardization. The outcomes of this study provide strong support for the development of intelligent transportation systems. © 2025 SPIE.

This paper presents a robust point cloud optimization algorithm based on spatial geometry relationship and Siamese Network. The proposed algorithm is designed to be improve the integrity and accuracy of stereo matching. In order to approach the prior corresponding pixels in image pairs, an epipolar line constraint is employed to fix the effective matching range in searching images. Then a Siamese Network is utilized to calculate the similarity of matching templates between reference image and searching images to approach the optimal matching pixels. At last the corresponding pixel pairs are used to compute the coordinate of object points by the Space Intersection method. Comparison studies and experimental results prove the high integrity and accuracy of the proposed algorithm in low-altitude remote sensing image point cloud optimization. © 2023 ACM.

This paper proposes an automatic road marking extraction method based on vehicle-mounted laser scanning data. First, the grid elevation difference threshold method is used to segment the point cloud data into ground points and non-ground points. Then, the point cloud data is divided into blocks along the scanning trajectory, generating georeferenced images of elevation, intensity, and point density. Through a series of image processing techniques, including median filtering, Sobel operator, and maximum entropy thresholding, road marking pixels are preliminarily extracted from these images. Subsequently, the extracted pixel information is converted back into point cloud data. The point cloud is segmented into independent objects through connected component analysis, and further refined using the Otsu thresholding method and Statistical Outlier Removal (SOR). This method combines 2D image processing and 3D point cloud analysis techniques, effectively extracting and optimizing road marking information. Experimental results show that this method achieves an average completeness of 93% and an average correctness of 91% on two sets of test data, demonstrating its efficiency and accuracy in extracting road markings. This provides support for high-precision map creation and autonomous driving technology. © 2025 SPIE ·

Spatially Heterogeneous Response of Carbon Storage to land Use Changes in Pearl River Delta urban Agglomeration, China

Carbon storage of terrestrial ecosystems plays a vital role in advancing carbon neutrality. Better understanding of how land use changes affect carbon storage in urban agglomeration will provide valuable guidance for policymakers in developing effective regional conservation policies. Taking the Pearl River Delta urban Agglomeration(PRDUA) in China as an example, we examined the heterogeneous response of carbon storage to land use changes in 1990–2018 from a combined view of administrative units and physical entities. The results indicate that the primary change in land use was due to the expansion of construction land(5897.16 km2). The carbon storage in PRDUA decreased from 767.34 Tg C in 1990 to 725.42 Tg C in 2018 with a spatial pattern of high wings and the low middle. The carbon storage loss was largely attributed to construction land expansion(55.74%), followed by forest degradation(54.81%). Changes in carbon storage showed significant divergences in different sized cities and hierarchical boundaries. The coefficients of geographically weighted regression(GWR) reveal that the alteration in carbon storage in Guangzhou City was more responsive to changes in construction land(-0.11) compared to other cities, while that in Shenzhen was mainly affected by the dynamics of forest land(8.32). The change in carbon storage was primarily influenced by the conversion of farmland within urban extent(5.05) and the degradation of forest land in rural areas(5.82). Carbon storage changes were less sensitive to the expansion of construction land in the urban center, urban built-up area, and ex-urban built-up area, with the corresponding GWR coefficients of 0.19, 0.04, and 0.02. This study necessitates the differentiated protection strategies of carbon storage in urban agglomerations.

monitoring range queries over moving objects is essential to extensive location-based services. The challenge faced with these location-based services is having to process numerous concurrent range queries over a large volume of moving objects. However, the existing range query processing algorithms are almost centralized based on one single machine, which are hard to address the challenge due to the limited memory and computing resources. To address this issue, we propose a distributed search solution for processing concurrent range queries over moving objects in this work. Firstly, a Distributed Dynamic Index (DDI) that consists of a global grid index and local dynamic M-ary tree indexes was proposed to maintain the moving objects and support the search algorithm. Next, a Distributed Range Query Algorithm (DRQA) was designed based on DDI, which introduces an incremental search strategy to monitor the range queries as objects evolve;during the process, it further designs a computation sharing paradigm for processing multiple concurrent queries by making full use of their common computation to decrease the search cost. Finally, three object datasets with different distributions were simulated on a New York road network and three baseline methods were introduced to more sufficiently evaluate the performance of our proposal. Compared with state-of-the-art method, the initial query cost of the DRQA algorithm reduces by 22.7 % and the incremental query cost drops by 15.2 %, which certifies the superiority of our method over existing approaches. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Building information modeling (BIM), with the accurate representation of building geometry structure and component composition, has played a significant role in digital twin development and city information modeling (CIM). Owing to the huge volume of data and complex reference relationships between BIM components, there are few applications that can efficiently transfer, store, and smoothly visualize BIM models. In this study, we propose an efficient BIM data compression and visualization method based on instancing storage and scene hierarchy instanced culling (SHIC) instancing rendering. We identify instanced BIM models based on the IFC semantic information and spatial geometry calculations and store them as instances. To avoid CPU-Bound, we partition the instanced BIM models space into clusters and calculate the visibility set with it as a culling unit. We implemented our method on Unreal Engine 5(UE5), used China resources Building as experimental data, and a series of experiments were designed to illustrate the advantages of our method in terms of data compression and rendering efficiency. The results show that our method is effective in data compression and keeps a higher frame rate for visualization. © 2024 COPYRIGHT SPIE.
