The major work is to retrieve the surface soil moisture under crop cover in this paper. This paper proposes an improved GA-BP model called as DEFS-GA-BP model. This model is proposed to retrieve the surface soil moisture distribution using Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 remote sensing data. After extracting nine polarization features and one roughness parameter from Sentinel-1 data, five vegetation indexes from Sentinel-2 data. The differential evolution feature selection (DEFS) algorithm is applied to select the optimal feature subset. By using the genetic algorithm (GA) to optimize the node weights, the back propagation (BP) neural network is trained using the optimal feature subset and then used to generate the surface soil moisture distribution. The results of inversion algorithm indicate that the proposed DEFS-GA-BP model has a better inversion precision than GA-BP model, and demonstrates its application potential in surface soil moisture inversion.

Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)remains the most common malignancy to threaten public health *** advances in artificial intelligence techniques,radiomics for HCC management provides a novel perspective to solve unmet needs in clinical settings,and reveals pixel-level radiological information for medical imaging big data,correlating the radiological phenotype with targeted clinical *** radiomics pipelines depend on handcrafted engineering features,and further deep learning-based radiomics pipelines are supplemented with deep features calculated via self-learning *** the past decade,radiomics has been widely applied in accurate diagnoses and pathological or biological behavior evaluation,as well as in prognosis *** this review,we systematically introduce the main pipelines of artificial intelligence-based radiomics and their efficacy in the clinical studies of HCC.

Continuous Few-Shot Relation Extraction (CFRE) is a task in continual learning that closely mirrors real-world scenarios. This task emphasizes the acquisition of new relations from a limited set of training samples while maintaining the retention of knowledge related to previously learned relations. The main challenges of CFRE include catastrophic forgetting and balancing between stability and adaptability. In existing research, knowledge distillation methods are commonly used to alleviate catastrophic forgetting. However, the knowledge distillation methods currently applied to CFRE tasks, whether single-teacher or multi-teacher models, do not perform data partitioning, which impacts the learning of new relations and limits the recognition performance of old relations. To tackle these challenges, we propose a CFRE model based on Task-Oriented Dynamic knowledge Distillation (TODKD). Specifically, we designed a dual-level task space separation knowledge distillation method that utilizes different teacher models at various stages to guide the sample training of relations belonging to different task stages, thereby alleviating catastrophic forgetting. To alleviate sample sparsity in few-shot scenarios, we use memory samples as an example and design prompt templates to assist LLMs in producing diverse data samples. Additionally, we designed dynamic weight loss to balance the model’s stability and adaptability effectively, resulting in a more uniform distribution of relation features across different tasks. Comprehensive experiments on the FewRel and TACRED datasets demonstrate that our TODKD model outperforms multiple competitive baseline approaches. Importantly, our model shows a marked enhancement compared to prior state-of-the-art techniques in the final task.

Retinal blood vessels structure plays an important role in the early diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy, which is a cause of blindness globally. However, the precise segmentation of retinal vessels is often extremely challenging due to the low contrast and noise of the capillaries. In this paper, we propose a novel model of deep coarse-to-fine supervision network (CTF-Net) to solve this problem. This model consists of two U-shaped architecture(coarse and fine segNet). The coarse segNet, which learns to predict probability retina map from input patchs, while the fine segNet refines the predicted map. To gain more paths to preserve the multi-scale and rich deep features information, we design an end-to-end training network instead of multi-stage learning framework to segment the retina vessel from coarse to fine. Furthermore, in order to improve feature representation and reduce the number of parameters of model, we introduce a novel feature augmentation module (FAM-residual block). Experiment results confirm that our method achieves the state-of-the-art performances on the popular datasets DRIVE, CHASE_DB1 and STARE.

Holographic capture and projection system of real object based on tunable zoom lens

In this paper, we propose a holographic capture and projection system of real objectsbased on tunable zoom lenses. Different from the traditional holographic system, aliquid lens-based zoom camera and a digital conical lens are used as key parts to reachthe functions of holographic capture and projection, respectively. The zoom camera isproduced by combing liquid lenses and solid lenses, which has the advantages of fastresponse and light weight. By electrically controlling the curvature of the liquid-liquidsurface, the focal length of the zoom camera can be changed easily. As anothertunable zoom lens, the digital conical lens has a large focal depth and the opticalproperty is perfectly used in the holographic system for adaptive projection, especiallyfor multilayer imaging. By loading the phase of the conical lens on the spatial lightmodulator, the reconstructed image can be projected with large depths. With theproposed system, holographic zoom capture and color reproduction of real objects canbe achieved based on a simple structure. Experimental results verify the feasibility ofthe proposed system. The proposed system is expected to be applied to microprojectionand three-dimensional display technology.

GaAs multiple concentric nano-ring structures(CNRs)are prepared with multistep crystallization procedures by droplets epitaxy on GaAs(001)to explore the influence of different initial crystallization temperatures on CNRs *** force microscope(AFM)images show that GaAs nanostructures are more likely to form elliptical rings due to diffusion ***,with the increase of initial crystallization temperature,the inner ring height and density of CNRs are increased,and outer rings are harder to *** addition,the mechanism of formation of CNRs is discussed by classical nucleation theory and diffusion *** method can be used to calculate the diffusion activation energy of gallium atoms(0.7±0.1 eV)on the GaAs(001)surface conveniently.

BPLF: A bi-parallel linear flow model for facial expression generation from emotion set images

The flow-based generative model is a deep learning generative model, which obtains the ability to generate data by explicitly learning the data distribution. Theoretically its ability to restore data is stronger than other generative models. However, its implementation has many limitations, including limited model design, too many model parameters and tedious calculation. In this paper, a bi-parallel linear flow model for facial emotion generation from emotion set images is constructed, and a series of improvements have been made in terms of the expression ability of the model and the convergence speed in training. The model is mainly composed of several coupling layers superimposed to form a multi-scale structure, in which each coupling layer contains 1*1 reversible convolution and linear operation modules. Furthermore, this paper sorted out the current public data set of facial emotion images, made a new emotion data, and verified the model through this data set. The experimental results show that, under the traditional convolutional neural network, the 3-layer 3*3 convolution kernel is more conducive to extracte the features of the face images. The introduction of principal component decomposition can improve the convergence speed of the model. © 2021, CC BY.
