Machine reading comprehension has been a research focus in natural language processing and intelligence ***,there is a lack of models and datasets for the MRC tasks in the anti-terrorism ***,current research lacks the ability to embed accurate background knowledge and provide precise *** address these two problems,this paper first builds a text corpus and testbed that focuses on the anti-terrorism domain in a semi-automatic ***,it proposes a knowledge-based machine reading comprehension model that fuses domain-related triples from a large-scale encyclopedic knowledge base to enhance the semantics of the *** eliminate knowledge noise that could lead to semantic deviation,this paper uses a mixed mutual ttention mechanism among questions,passages,and knowledge triples to select the most relevant triples before embedding their semantics into the *** results indicate that the proposed approach can achieve a 70.70%EM value and an 87.91%F1 score,with a 4.23%and 3.35%improvement over existing methods,respectively.

In recent years, semantic segmentation has been continuously developing, but there are still problems such as incomplete image understanding, incomplete contextual information extraction, imbalanced data samples, and uneven object distribution. A semantic segmentation algorithm based on an improved Dynamic Multi scale Network (DMNet) is proposed to address the current issues. An attention mechanism is added to the decoder to make the network pay more attention to the target to be detected;Using online difficult sample mining to improve the problem of sample imbalance in the dataset;Utilize the CrossEntropyLoss+Lovasz SoftmaxLoss joint loss function and the Adam with decoupled weight Decay (AdamW) optimizer to improve network training effectiveness and segmentation accuracy. The algorithm achieves 85.01% mIoU and 90.30% mAcc, effectively optimizing the model structure and improving segmentation accuracy, thus providing a certain technical foundation and application reference for semantic understanding of maritime channel scenes. © 2023 IEEE.

With the rapid development of digital technology, the complexity and diversity of data sources present significant security and privacy challenges. To address these issues, this paper proposes an efficient and verifiable Multi-Server Framework for Secure Information Classification and Storage (MSF-SCS). The framework distributes sensitive data across multiple servers, proposing an opening authority to manage classified information and a semi-honest sanitizer to ensure strong authentication while preserving user anonymity. We formalize the security model of our scheme and prove that it satisfies the no-read rule, no-write rule, and unforgeability. We instantiate the scheme and conduct comprehensive experimental evaluations, which demonstrate that MSF-SCS significantly outperforms traditional architectures in terms of scalability and efficiency, making it particularly suitable for industries with stringent data protection requirements. Future work will focus on further improving the system’s security while maintaining its high performance. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

Semantic segmentation is widely used in remote sensing data extraction and classification. Existing semantic segmentation networks focus on capturing contextual information in many different ways, simply fusing features at different levels, and ultimately improving the accuracy of semantic segmentation. However, low-level semantic features lack spatial context guidance, and high-level semantic features tend to encode large objects with coarse spatial details, making segmentation results prone to losing fine details. In this paper, we analyze the advantages and disadvantages of different levels of feature maps, and enhance the feature representation from two aspects to solve this problem. On the one hand, inspired by the architectural idea of atrous spatial pyramic pooling (ASPP), we adjust the structure of ASPP module and add the attention module to ASPP, and a new Attention-ASPP(AASPP) module is constructed in this paper. On the other hand, feature information such as boundary contours is enhanced by channel attention modeling, thereby improving local detail representation. Comprehensive experimental results show that our model framework achieves excellent segmentation performance on two public datasets, WHU building dataset and ISPRS Potsdam dataset. © 2023 SPIE.

In order to efficiently solve the vehicle routing problem with time window (VRPTW), a hyper-heuristic algorithm based on reinforcement learning was proposed. Firstly, the performance of the underlying heuristic algorithm was evaluated, and then a multi-armed bandit (MAB) algorithm was used to select the low-level heuristic algorithm. At the same time, a simulated annealing-based acceptance rule was used to determine whether to accept the solution obtained by each low-level heuristic to ensure the diversity of solutions. Experiments was carried out on some VRPTW benchmark instances, and the results show that the proposed algorithm is effective and stable. © 2023 SPIE.

In a multi-cloud storage system, provenance data records all operations and ownership during its lifecycle, which is critical for data security and audibility. However, recording provenance data also poses some challenging security and storage issues. In this paper, we present a secure and efficient multi-cloud storage data source scheme, BMDP. We use blockchain technology to ensure the secure storage of provenance data and design a smart contract to utilize the provenance data to ensure the proper operation of the multi-cloud storage system. Finally, we analyze the scheme's safety and do simulation experiments to show that the scheme has practicality. © 2023 IEEE.

Image denoising has always been a hot research topic in the field of computer vision, playing an important role in improving image quality and accuracy. In this paper, a method for image denoising based on residual network is proposed, which uses deep learning technology to improve the effect of image processing. This method can automatically learn useful features in the image and effectively remove noise in the image, achieving automatic removal of image noise. Finally, experiments were conducted on standard image datasets for evaluation. The experimental results show that the image denoising method based on residual network has better performance compared to traditional methods. It can effectively remove various types of noise, improve image quality and clarity, and has broad application prospects in image processing. © COPYRIGHT SPIE. In order to study the characteristics of pure fly ash-based geopolymer concrete(PFGC)conveniently,we used a machine learning method that can quantify the perception of characteristics to predict its compressive *** this study,505 groups of data were collected,and a new database of compressive strength of PFGC was *** order to establish an accurate prediction model of compressive strength,five different types of machine learning networks were used for comparative *** five machine learning models all showed good compressive strength prediction performance on *** them,R2,MSE,RMSE and MAE of decision tree model(DT)are 0.99,1.58,1.25,and 0.25,*** R2,MSE,RMSE and MAE of random forest model(RF)are 0.97,5.17,2.27 and 1.38,*** two models have high prediction accuracy and outstanding generalization *** order to enhance the interpretability of model decision-making,we used importance ranking to obtain the perception of machine learning model to 13 *** 13 variables include chemical composition of fly ash(SiO_(2)/Al_(2)O_(3),Si/Al),the ratio of alkaline liquid to the binder,curing temperature,curing durations inside oven,fly ash dosage,fine aggregate dosage,coarse aggregate dosage,extra water dosage and sodium hydroxide *** temperature,specimen ages and curing durations inside oven have the greatest influence on the prediction results,indicating that curing conditions have more prominent influence on the compressive strength of PFGC than ordinary Portland cement *** importance of curing conditions of PFGC even exceeds that of the concrete mix proportion,due to the low reactivity of pure fly ash.

Tables, as an important means of data storage, are widely used in spreadsheets, web tables, and PDFs. By integrating information from table data with knowledge re-trieved from an external knowledge base, and examining the correspondences between cell values in the table and instances in the knowledge base, we can extract knowledge from the table to augment and enrich the knowledge base. To achieve this goal, we first need to classify table cells based on their functions in the layout. Due to the diverse structures arising from the arrangements of rows and columns, as well as the complexity of content resulting from concise data storage, current automation techniques heavily rely on stylistic features of table cells, such as font or color. Moreover, these methods are rarely experimented with or validated on tables without style features. Recent literature indicates that large language models (LLMs) demonstrate an ability to understand the structure and content of tables in tasks such as table judgment reasoning. Even without extensive feature inputs or pre-training, LLMs still show comparable results to machine learning and deep learning in these tasks. Therefore, this paper attempts to apply LLMs to table cell classification without using other stylistic features. We have designed a 4-component prompt paradigm (Classification Definition, Instruction, Table, Com-pletion), representing respectively the classification definition, task instructions, table data, and result output. We conduct experiments on three datasets CIUS, SAUS, and DEEX for table cell classification with one-shot learning. Our experimental results show that with the assistance of LLMs, better results can be achieved without utilizing stylistic features.

PathReasoner: Modeling Reasoning Path with Equivalent Extension for Logical Question Answering

Logical reasoning task has attracted great interest since it was proposed. Faced with such a task, current competitive models, even large language models (e.g., ChatGPT and PaLM 2), still perform badly. Previous promising LMs struggle in logical consistency modeling and logical structure perception. To this end, we model the logical reasoning task by transforming each logical sample into reasoning paths and propose an architecture PathReasoner. It addresses the task from the views of both data and model. To expand the diversity of the logical samples, we propose an atom extension strategy supported by equivalent logical formulas, to form new reasoning paths. From the model perspective, we design a stack of transformer-style blocks. In particular, we propose a path-attention module to joint model in-atom and cross-atom relations with the high-order diffusion strategy. Experiments show that PathReasoner achieves competitive performances on two logical reasoning benchmarks and great generalization abilities. © 2024, CC BY.
