Hypoplastic left heart syndrome(HLHS)is a rare,complex,and incredibly foetal congenital heart *** decrease neonatal mortality,evolving HLHS(eHLHS)in pregnant women should be critically diagnosed as soon as ***,diagnosis is currently heavily dependent on skilled medical professionals using foetal cardiac ultrasound images,making it difficult to rapidly and easily examine for this ***,the authors propose a cost-effective deep learning framework for rapid diagnosis of eHLHS(RDeH),which we have named ***,the framework implements a coarseto-fine two-stage detection approach,with a structure classification network for 4D human foetal cardiac ultrasound images from various spatial and temporal domains,and a fine detection module with weakly-supervised localisation for high-precision nidus localisation and physician *** experiments extensively compare the authors’network with other state-of-the-art methods on a 4D human foetal cardiac ultrasound image dataset and show two main benefits:(1)it achieved superior average accuracy of 99.37%on three categories of foetal ultrasound images from different cases;(2)it demonstrates visually fine detection performance with weakly supervised *** framework could be used to accelerate the diagnosis of eHLHS,and hence significantly lessen reliance on experienced medical physicians.

The evaluation of programming course instruction is a key component of educational management. However, relying solely on supervising teachers for assessment poses challenges in comprehensive evaluation and providing feedback on students' classroom learning status. Additionally, a significant amount of monitoring video data from programming courses in Chinese universities remains underutilized. To address these challenges, this paper combines traditional educational management with artificial intelligence and proposes an intelligent algorithm for detecting students' learning status in programming courses. We first establish a dual YOLO network model to analyze students' postures and screen content in programming classroom monitoring videos, thereby identifying their behaviors. Subsequently, we develop a Programming Classroom Student Behavior Recognition System (PCSBS) that integrates data collection, student behavior detection, and result visualization functionalities. Experimental results demonstrate that the system can accurately provide feedback on students' programming course learning status, offering graded results that assist supervising teachers in their classroom instructional evaluation tasks to enhance educational management efficiency. © 2023 IEEE.

A Part-of-Speech Tagging Model Employing Word Clustering and Syntactic Parsing

Part-Of-Speech tagging is a basic task in the field of natural language processing. This paper builds a POS tagger based on improved Hidden Markov model, by employing word clustering and syntactic parsing model. Firstly, In order to overcome the defects of the classical HMM, Markov family model (MFM), a new statistical model was introduced. Secondly, to solve the problem of data sparseness, we propose a bottom-to-up hierarchical word clustering algorithm. Then we combine syntactic parsing with part-of-speech tagging. The Part-of-Speech tagging experiments show that the improved Part-Of-Speech tagging model has higher performance than Hidden Markov models (HMMs) under the same testing conditions, the precision is enhanced from 94.642% to 97.235%.

The classical traditional dark channel priori algorithm causes colour distortion in bright areas of the sky, snow and other surfaces when processing images, and the overall darkness of the recovered image is complicated, resulting in slow processing speed. In this paper, we propose an adaptive modified dark channel priori defogging algorithm that combines inverse bright channel and dark channel weighting. Firstly, the brightest channel of the RGB channel of the fogged image is inverted, and then the dark channel is weighted and combined with the dark channel to correct the dark channel and adaptively correct the transmittance. Secondly, the mean value of the brightest 0.1% of pixels in the new dark channel is used in estimating atmospheric light values;finally, the transmittance estimation is optimised using multi-window fitting and guided filtering methods. Experimental results show that the algorithm improves the dark channel priori colour distortion in bright regions, with faster processing and more effective defogging. © 2023 SPIE. Moving target defense (MTD) is a promising approach to defend against load redistribution attacks on the internet-of-things (IoT)-based smart grid networks by probing the distorted state estimates with the distributed flexible AC transmission system. However, existing studies mainly focus on optimizing the performance of MTD and ignore the safety effect of it on the system’s operation. In this paper, we fill this gap by deeply analyzing the effect of MTD on the small signal stability and aim to alleviate the negative impact and guarantee its defending performance simultaneously. Firstly, the stability is formally described using the eigenvalue sensitivity. The relationship between the MTD-induced perturbation (MTDper) and the stability criteria is derived. Secondly, a new indicator is proposed to measure the effectiveness of MTDper. Thirdly, a constrained optimization problem is formulated to compute the bound of MTDper for guaranteeing the small signal stability. In addition, a surprising finding is that the stability margin can be improved and enhanced by optimizing the value of MTDper without losing the MTD’s effectiveness. Finally, we evaluate the performance of MTDper and its impact on the small signal stability with extensive simulations on the IEEE 30-bus, 39-bus, and 68-bus test power systems. © 2014 IEEE.

COMPREHENSIVE ANALYSIS OF OVER-SMOOTHING IN GRAPH NEURAL NETWORKS FROM MARKOV CHAINS PERSPECTIVE

The over-smoothing problem is an obstacle of developing deep graph neural network (GNN). Although many approaches to improve the over-smoothing problem have been proposed, there is still a lack of comprehensive understanding and conclusion of this problem. In this work, we analyze the over-smoothing problem from the Markov chain perspective. We focus on message passing of GNN and first establish a connection between GNNs and Markov chains on the graph. GNNs are divided into two classes of operator-consistent and operator-inconsistent based on whether the corresponding Markov chains are time-homogeneous. Next we attribute the over-smoothing problem to the convergence of an arbitrary initial distribution to a stationary distribution. Based on this, we prove that although the previously proposed methods can alleviate over-smoothing, but these methods cannot avoid the over-smoothing problem. In addition, we give the conclusion of the over-smoothing problem in two types of GNNs in the Markovian sense. On the one hand, operator-consistent GNN cannot avoid over-smoothing at an exponential rate. On the other hand, operator-inconsistent GNN is not always over-smoothing. Further, we investigate the existence of the limiting distribution of the time-inhomogeneous Markov chain, from which we derive a sufficient condition for operator-inconsistent GNN to avoid over-smoothing. Finally, we design experiments to verify our findings. Results show that our proposed sufficient condition can effectively improve over-smoothing problem in operator-inconsistent GNN and enhance the performance of the model. © 2022, CC BY-NC-SA.

In a world brimming with new products continually, novel waste types are ubiquitous. This makes current image-based garbage classification systems difficult to perform well due to the long-tailed effects of distribution of garbage types, and necessitates an urgent and efficient garbage classification with abilities of detecting new and rare wastes and class-incremental learning for environmental sustainability. Therefore, we propose a framework of Online System of Garbage Image-Oriented Intelligent Classification, Submission, and Examination, facilitating the incremental garbage classification efforts. In which, to identify novel garbage effectively, we also introduced few-shot object detection method with two key algorithms: Two-Stage Object Detection Learning Algorithm and Dynamic Query-based Incremental Few-shot Learning Algorithm. Our experiment results show that Both outperform the current existing ones in dataset, MS COCO. Then, a strategy of Class-Incremental learning based Residual Network is proposed to meet the need of new waste class-incremental learning. The experimental results support our strategy. Finally, a prototype system employed the above algorithms and the strategy is described.

Flood control is one of the most important operations of Yellow River control. The dam bank danger in flood season every year has the characteristics of time-varying, multi-dimension and complex situation, which poses a certain threat to people's life and property safety. For timely, flood control engineering data quickly and implement management interface of information visualization, effectively reduce the labor intensity of artificial working risk, this paper puts forward a kind of based on three-dimensional library of Cesium Huang Heba shore the realization method of 3D visualization platform adopted the aerial drones to create dam shore entity 3D model, Combined with WebGIS technology and front-end technology, the system's 3D expression is realized. Through interface design and system function development, the system has three-dimensional model display,with the functions of dam bank cruise and measurement tools, the platform has strong sense of reality and good interaction effect, which realizes the three-dimensional visual display of the Madu control project in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. © 2023 SPIE.

With the rapid development of elevated expressways, urban elevated expressways bear more and more traffic volume, and the adoption of environmental protection materials has become an inevitable trend in the development of elevated expressways. a control method for connecting the elevated expressway with the ground intersection based on reflective film material is presented. Firstly, the green reflective film material is used to guide the connecting section of the elevated expressway and the ground intersection. Then, the corresponding signal timing method is proposed to optimize the traffic flow time between the elevated expressway and the ground ***, through the analysis of the VISSIM traffic simulation software to evaluate the results show that the method is based on the reflective film material can effectively guide the elevated expressway with the ground intersection connection section, under the premise by signal optimization technology to further improve the traffic efficiency, effectively reduces the overhead elevated expressway with the ground intersection connection number of the conflicts, It provides a basis for the research on the connection section between the elevated expressway and the ground intersection based on reflective film material guidance. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
