The protocol stack plays a critical role in determining the performance of networked control system (NCS), which governs the communication activities and directly affects the communication quality of service (QoS). Full or partial reconfiguration of protocol stack offers both optimized communication service and system performance. This paper proposes a finite state machines (FSMs) approach for modeling analysis of reconfiguration protocols stack in NCS. The proposed reconfiguration architecture is implemented by illustrating a simulation for the flexible scheduling scheme on the Ethernet protocol. Detail FSM implement modules for composing node models of master and salve are discussed respectively in OPNET environment. The simulation results validate the effective of our architectural concepts on the protocol implementation in NCS. © 2010 IEEE.

Full or partial reconfiguration of protocol stack offers both optimized communication service and system performance. This paper proposes a formal approach for the design and implementation of reconfiguration protocol stack based on Specification Description Language (SDL) for NCS. In Telelogic TAU environment, detail SDL models to support communication and reconfiguration functions of communication link layer, network transmission layer and application layer are discussed respectively. The MSC verification results validate the effective of our reconfiguration concepts on the protocol implementation for NCS. ©2010 IEEE.

In this paper,a novel algorithm for color image enhancement is *** proposed method,which is based on Retinex theory and total variational framework,improves the original variational method by using a TV penalty term to force spatial smoothness on the reflectance *** split Bregman algorithm is employed to solve the proposed *** practical experiments,it is verified that our method obtains better enhancement performance and much better calculation efficiency.

This paper presents a robust tracking algorithm for infrared objects in the image sequence, which is based on particle filer. Particle filter is a powerful tool for tracking especially in non-Gaussian condition, but the selection of samples is still a challenging problem. According to the frame-to-frame correlation, two basic assumptions are proposed. Borrowing the idea from Sequence Importance Sampling, Monte-Carlo method will be applied to solve the well-known shortcomings of Particle filter in this paper. Technologically, the proposed algorithm could also track multiple objects successfully. The experimental result has demonstrated its feasibility and validity. ©2010 IEEE.

In the past few years, multiobjective clustering has been one of the most successful techniques in the field of computer vision and data clustering. This paper proposes a novel unsupervised approach for synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image segmentation, namely, multiobjective immune clustering ensemble technique (MICET). The new technique first divides the image into several regions, and a certain number of pixels are picked out from these regions to form the clustering dataset. Second, artificial immune system (AIS) and multiobjective optimization (MOO) are introduced to generate multiple clustering results, which are then combined together for the following ensemble process. Multiple runs of the multiob-jective clustering method with different randomly selected image features are performed to ensure high quality components as well as necessary diversity for an efficient ensemble. Finally, each datum is assigned to one cluster according to the relationship with the clustering dataset. Experimental results show that interesting segmentation performances on SAR images can be achieved by the proposed technique despite its completely unsupervised nature. Copyright © 2010 ACM.

The sufficient and necessary conditions for Lyapunov stability of the zero equilibrium point of Lorenz system are discussed, and some brief criteria are presented for globally exponential stability, globally asymptotical stability and instability. Furthermore, the behavior of the non-zero equilibrium point of Lorenz system is also investigated, and several sufficient and necessary conditions are provided for locally exponential stability and instability. The established theorems in this paper develop and extend the existing achievements on Lyapunov stability of Lorenz system. In conclusion, by applying the obtained results, some less conservative feedback-control laws are derived to guarantee the globally exponential stability of the chaos control of Chen system, Lu¨ system, Yang-Chen system and Yu-Xia Li system.

DNA tile self-assembly has been proved to enable programmable manipulation of biological systems as a tool of molecular computation. It is mainly based on the property that is the spontaneous self-ordering of substructure into superstructure driven by annealing of Watson-Crick base-pairing DNA sequences. We take full advantage of the superiority of DNA tile self-assembly to construct a molecular computing system that implements a solution for the 0-1 planning problem. This algorithm can independently and simultaneously yield the data pool, containing all possible solutions when all basic operation tiles are designed beforehand. Then we can use some advanced bio-chemistry techniques to select the optimization solutions of the 0-1 planning problem. Our work has shown that it is possible to work with an exponential number of components to solve NP-complete problems. The method proposed here also can reduce the number of laboratory steps required for computation so that it can improve the computation speed. Copyright © 2010 American Scientific Publishers. Network Boosting (NB) is an ensemble learning method which combines weak learners together based on a network and can learn the target hypothesis asymptotically. NB has higher generalization ability compared to Bagging and AdaBoost. But, when datasets are class-imbalanced, the performance of NB will decrease quickly. In order to solve this problem, we present a Partition based Network Boosting method (PNB) to classify imbalanced data. For PNB method, every classifier node of the classifier network is provided with the same number of training data which are all of same weights. The classifier in the network is built by the balanced training set sampled from the training data according to the weights record of the training data it holds. And then, the weights of the instances of every node classifier are updated based on the classification results of self-node and its neighbor nodes. The classifier network is trained repeatedly in such a way. Weight factor of hypothesis in the training progress is introduced to improve the performance. The final classification is formed by all the hypotheses of the classifier network learned during the training progress so that the label of new instances can be decided by the weight voting. The experimental results on UCI data and imbalanced biomedical data show that the PNB algorithm has better AUC and recall performance compared with NB learning machine. © 2010 IEEE.

To enhance the reliability of launch vehicle attitude control systems and prevent the control invalidation caused by swing engine deadlock, a control reconfiguration of fault-tolerant control is proposed. Firstly, the coupling identity between the channels is discussed based on the dynamic model of the vehicle. Then, under the assumption of no rolling motion, we study the swing angles reconfiguration method based on the moment balance principle, and then deduce the relationship between the swing angle of the deadlocked engines and the engines still operate well. From the rationality analysis, the safe bound of the deadlocked engine and reconfiguration conditions are proposed under several assumptions. Finally, the numerical simulation of rocket attitude control based on the discussed reconfiguration strategy is given to demonstrate that the variance of the control affect by the deadlocked engine could be rectified by other booster-engines effectively.

This paper addresses a robust H_(infinity) filtering problem for networked systems that are subject to both random transmission delays and packet dropouts. To start with, a data transmission model is established by employing random series with Bernoulli distributions. A sufficient condition for robust stability with H_(infinity) constraints is derived for the filtering error system. The robust filter is designed in terms of the feasibility of a linear matrix inequality (LMI). The numerical examples are provided to show the effectiveness of the data transmission model and the proposed filtering method.
