Efficient Information Management of Building Light Environment can help create more comfortable and intelligent indoor light environment. This paper aims to develop a Cloud- and Android-based indoor illuminance information system (I3S) framework, involving the Cloud platform architecture, the indoor illuminance information model and database, the data collection and transmission, and visualization. Firstly, the Cloud platform architecture of indoor illuminance information system is established with data layer, component layer, business layer and application layer. Secondly, the Android device collects the indoor illuminance from the illuminance sensors, and sends it to storage space on the Cloud platform. Thirdly, the clients employ illuminance analysis toolbox on the Cloud platform to meter and assess field light environment. Finally, to validate the feasibility of the proposed system framework, an implementation case is conducted with Bomb Cloud, and an Android-based software is developed with indoor illuminance data acquisition and evaluation application. © 2022 Association for Computing Machinery.

This paper examines a category of second-order nonlinear systems' predefined-time tracking control issue restricted by the state and input from the control. The safety predefined-time control framework proposed by this work aims at tracking a desired trajectory in a predefined time while maintaining safe system outputs and control inputs. The safety predefined-time controller is specifically created by a safety filter utilizing the control barrier function approach and a predefined-time controller on the basis of the backstepping technique. The predefined-time controller establishes an explicit relation between the controller parameters and the convergence time constraint. Moreover, the safety filter enforces the state and control input constraints by constructing a quadratic programming problem. In an effort to demonstrate the feasibility of the safety predefined-time controller, a second-order practical system is simulated.

This paper focuses on the identification of multiple variables Wiener systems with unknown time-delays and system orders. In order to jointly estimate the time-delays and parameters using small amounts of sampling data, an over-parameterized identification model with a sparse parameter vector is established by introducing a redundant rule, and a novel greedy orthogonal least squares identification method based on the Householder transformation is proposed. The active columns of the information matrix are selected one by one with the help of the Householder transformation-based greedy strategy, maintaining an upper-triangular structure for the sub-information matrix. The back-substitution method is adopted to solve the linear equation set instead of a matrix inversion, so that ill-conditioned solutions can be avoided. Finally, the Bayesian information criterion is used to choose the optimal sparse level. Numerical experiments show that this new scheme can achieve almost optimal generalization performance while requiring less computation than the traditional schemes.

This paper develops an iterative learning control law for a class of nonlinear systems. The approach used to represent the nonlinear system dynamics is a Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy repetitive process that considers the two directions of information propagation. Then, the control action investigated is a state feedback control law combined with a PD-type feed-forward learning control law. Consequently, linear matrix inequality techniques can be used for control design. Furthermore, this approach allows the design of control action to satisfy the requirements on both the error convergence and the transient dynamics. Finally, an example demonstrates the properties of the new design. © 2024 IEEE.

The event-triggered sliding-mode control (SMC) for discrete-time networked Markov jumping systems (MJSs) with channel fading is investigated by means of a genetic algorithm. In order to reduce resource consumption in the transmission process, an event-triggered protocol is adopted for networked MJSs. A key feature is that the signal transmission is inevitably affected by fading phenomenon due to delay, random noise, and amplitude attenuation in a networked environment. With the aid of a common sliding surface, an event-triggered SMC law is designed by adjusting the system network mode. Under the framework of stochastic Lyapunov stability, sufficient conditions are constructed to ensure the mean-square stability of the closed-loop networked MJSs, and the sliding region is reached around the specified sliding surface. Moreover, based on the iteration optimizing accessibility of objective function, an effective SMC approach under genetic algorithm is proposed to minimize the convergence region around the sliding surface. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is proved by the F-404 aircraft model. © 2013 IEEE.

Adaptive Remanufacturing for Freeform Surface Parts Based on Linear Laser Scanner and Robotic Laser Cladding

Freeform surface parts play a significant role in the aerospace industry, the mold- manufacturing industry and the automobile industry, and it is energy-saving, material-saving, time-saving and environmentally beneficial to remanufacture the damaged components to restore their functionality and performance. Due to the complex geometry of the freeform surface wear, the adaptive remanufacturing of freeform surface parts is confronted with challenges. In this paper, an adaptive remanufacturing method for freeform surface parts based on linear laser scanner and robotic laser cladding is proposed to realize the precise freeform surface measurement and optimized remanufacturing path generation. On the one hand, a systematic wear measurement and assessment method is proposed to precisely locate and quantify the wear. With the noncontact calibration of the laser scanner and industrial robot, the contour of the target surface is real-timely measured and the reverse model is efficiently constructed, which provides detailed 3D morphological information of the worn freeform surface for the latter wear analysis. Next, considering the considerable difference between the reverse model and the nominal model, a refined model aligning method weighted by surface wear segmentation is proposed to minimize the alignment error and, further, the difference entity to be additively manufactured is obtained by discrete model comparison. On the other hand, to cope with the unsatisfactory binding strength over the freeform surface basis and small fragments of the working path for the traditional plane or cylinder slicing method, a novel remanufacturing path generation method is proposed. Considering the curvature distribution of the freeform surface, an optimized equidistant freeform surface slicing method is especially proposed for the difference entity to realize the adaptive fitting to the freeform basin. Employing a tandem reaction with 100% atom economy, a series of novel 3-cyanopyridine derivatives were synthesized from benzopyranonitriles and pyrrolidines under mild and metal-free conditions, promoted by sodium hydroxide, achieving yields up to 97%. The mechanism of this novel tandem reaction was confirmed by DFT calculations. These products exhibit aggregation-induced emission (AIE) and dual-state emission (DSE) effects due to restricted intramolecular motion (RIM) and a distorted structure resulting from the existence of a dihedral angle in the molecular structure. Notably, different 3-cyanopyridine compounds can be applicable for the "turn-off" detection of Fe3+/Cu2+ and various nitroaromatic compounds (NACs). Furthermore, these molecules have good antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus, providing a novel strategy for the synthesis of new antimicrobial agents. © 2025 The Royal Society of Chemistry.

In this paper, we tackle the control and trajectory planning problems for the cooperative transportation system of cable-suspended payload with multi Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). Firstly, a payload controller is presented considering the dynamic coupling between the UAV and the payload to accomplish the active suppression of payload swing and the complex payload trajectory tracking. Secondly, different from the simplification of obstacles in most approaches, we propose three Insetting Formation (IF) algorithms for the complete obstacle shape to generate collision-free waypoints for the cooperative transportation system. An IF strategy is proposed by integrating three IF algorithms to improve the success rate of obstacle avoidance and reduce the algorithm complexity for performing the aggressive flight. Finally, we verify the robustness and high performance of the proposed algorithm through benchmark comparison and real-world experiments. Moreover, our source code is released as an open-source ros package.
