With the development of the maritime industry, the number and capacity of existing port cold-ironing (CI) equipment can no longer meet the power demand of ships during berthing, resulting in significant carbon emissions from ships within the port area. Therefore, a ship power sharing strategy based on Shapley value method and Cartel mechanism is proposed. Firstly, the rolling optimization model of ship power scheduling is established to adjust the ship power scheduling strategy according to the real-time information. Secondly, the cooperative game model of ship power sharing is established, and the cost sharing among cooperative ships is realized by Shapley value method. Finally, in order to reduce the situation that ships increase their own profits by deviating from cooperation and affect the overall profits, this paper introduces Cartel mechanism to punish the behavior of deviating from cooperation. The simulation results show that the power sharing strategy proposed in this paper can reduce the total ship cost and carbon emission by 5.28% and 3.78%, respectively. The introduction of Cartel mechanism can increase the cost of non-cooperative behavior, thus ensuring that all ships take cooperative behavior. The power sharing strategy based on Shapley method and Cartel mechanism proposed in this paper is helpful to the construction of green ports.

With the development of simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) technology, Dynamic SLAM has been a challenging research topic. This paper presents a dynamic probability fusion SLAM (DPF-SLAM) algorithm, which adds a semantic segmentation thread and a dense reconstruction thread to ORB-SLAM2. We integrate dynamic prior probability obtained by semantic segmentation with dynamic probability obtained by dynamic point detection, which can decrease the effect of dynamic objects on the localization accuracy and meanwhile achieve the dense reconstruction of a static background. We evaluate DPF-SLAM system on the public TUM RGBD dataset. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has better localization accuracy than DS-SLAM and ORB-SLAM2, which are two relatively new algorithms in this area, and can obtain a good dense reconstruction effect. Moreover, through the performance comparison with our previous work, it is found that the algorithm speed and positioning accuracy are improved. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper investigates the cooperative link configuration problem for Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) in Underwater Acoustic (UWA) sensor networks with Energy Harvesting (EH), which aims to maximize long-term cumulative capacity by jointly optimizing cooperation relay, AUV transmission power, and relay transmission power. Subject to unknown time-varying Channel State Information (CSI), unpredictable stochastic EH, and variable communication topology caused by AUV mobility, the proposed problem is an unknown dynamic combination decision optimization problem. To resist the change of the dynamic UWA communication topology with unknown time-varying CSI and EH, a novel collaborative contextual multi-armed bandit learning framework is proposed, which allows relay nodes to learn cooperatively and enriches the learning information of relays. Consequently, the proposed learning framework can resist the change of the dynamic UWA communication topology efficiently, thereby achieving the superior link configuration quickly. Besides, a learning-rate adjustment rule for the dynamic UWA communication topology is proposed to adaptively balance the exploration-exploitation, thereby avoiding missing the real superior joint relay-power configuration. Finally, simulation results show the significantly superiority of the proposed scheme. © 2015 IEEE.

Distributed Fault-Tolerant Secondary control For Dc Microgrids Against False Data Injection Attacks

This paper focuses on the issue of unknown false data injection attacks (FDIA) of controllers in DC microgrid, and proposes a distributed fault-tolerant secondary controller for DC microgrid to ensure that the control objectives of voltage regulation and current sharing can be achieved when the system is subject to FDIA. Firstly, the secondary control problem in DC microgrid with FDIA is transformed into a first-order leader-following multi-agent system fault-tolerant consensus problem, and the impact of FDIA signals on the microgrid system is analyzed. Then, a distributed extended state observer (DESO) is designed based on the derived multi-agent system, which observes the injected FDIA signals using the relative output error of each distributed generators and its neighbours. Further, based on the observed FDIA signals, a fault-tolerant secondary controller is designed to eliminate the adverse effects of the attack signals on the system. Particularly, the stability analyses for the designed DESO and secondary controller prove that the control system is global asymptotically stable. Finally, the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed fault-tolerant secondary control method for DC microgrids with FDIA are verified by simulation analyses of four cases. © 2022, The Authors. In recent years,there are numerous studies on chaotic systems with special equilibrium curves having various shapes such as circle,butterfly,heart and *** paper describes a new 3-D chaotic dynamical system with a capsule-shaped equilibrium *** proposed chaotic system has two quadratic,two cubic and two quartic nonlinear *** is noted that the proposed chaotic system has a hidden attractor since it has an infinite number of equilibrium *** is also established that the proposed chaotic system exhibits multi-stability with two coexisting chaotic attractors for the same parameter values but differential initial states.A detailed bifurcation analysis with respect to variations in the system parameters is portrayed for the new chaotic system with capsule equilibrium *** have shown MATLAB plots to illustrate the capsule equilibrium curve,phase orbits of the new chaotic system,bifurcation diagrams and *** an engineering application,we have proposed a speech cryptosystem with a numerical algorithm,which is based on our novel 3-D chaotic system with a capsule-shaped equilibrium *** proposed speech cryptosystem follows its security evolution and implementation on Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA)*** results show that the proposed encryption system utilizes 33%of the FPGA,while the maximum clock frequency is 178.28 MHz.

With the development of vehicle autonomous driving technology and wireless network communication technology, the mix platoon of connected autonomous vehicles (CAVs) and connected human-driven vehicles (CHVs) is becoming inevitable. The abnormal V2V communication and uncertain vehicle dynamics may affect the CAV control performance. Considering time-varying communication delays and random packet loss, an event-trigger-based robust control strategy is proposed based on the stability theory of stochastic time-delay systems. The Bernoulli packet loss model is constructed to solve the random packet loss problem. The robust controller with the event-triggered mechanism designed using the Lyapunov functional stability theory of stochastic systems ensures the stability of the mix platoon with vehicle heterogeneity and the stability of CAV. The simulation comparison has verified that the proposed control strategy can better suppress the fluctuation of the preceding vehicle and more quickly reach the desired value when both time delay and packet loss are present.

Ensuring robust tracking of controllers’ movement is critical for human-robot interaction in virtual reality (VR) scenarios. This paper proposes a robust tracking algorithm based on a novel wearable ring-shaped controller equipped with an inertial measurement unit (IMU) and a light-emitting diode (LED). This novel controller design allows users to free up their hands for more immersive experiences. To track the controller’s motion accurately and robustly, we resort to various forms of visual measurements, including 6 DoF and 5 DoF pose measurements from hand gesture detection, as well as 3 DoF position measurement and 2 DoF image measurement derived from the LED. We theoretically analyze the performances of these observation models and propose an optimal observation model combination scheme. Moreover, the necessity and rationale of online estimating system gravity are illustrated. The effectiveness of our tracking method is validated through extensive experiments.

Throughput-oriented associated transaction assignment in sharding blockchains for IoT social data storage

Blockchain is a viable solution to provide data integrity for the enormous volume of 5G IoT social data, while we need to break through the throughput bottleneck of blockchain. Sharding is a promising technology to solve the problem of low throughput in blockchains. However, cross-shard communication hinders the effective improvement of blockchain throughput. Therefore, it is critical to reasonably allocate transactions to different shards to improve blockchain throughput. Existing research on blockchain sharding mainly focuses on shards formation, configuration, and consensus, while ignoring the negative impact of cross-shard communication on blockchain throughput. Aiming to maximize the throughput of transaction processing, we study how to allocate blockchain transactions to shards in this paper. We propose an Associated Transaction assignment algorithm based on Closest Fit (ATCF). ATCF classifies associated transactions into transaction groups which are then assigned to different shards in the non-ascending order of transaction group sizes periodically. Within each epoch, ATCF tries to select a shard that can handle all the transactions for each transaction group. If there are multiple such shards, ATCF selects the shard with the remaining processing capacity closest to the number of transactions in the transaction group. When no such shard exists, ATCF chooses the shard with the largest remaining processing capacity for the transaction group. The transaction groups that cannot be completely processed within the current epoch will be allocated in the subsequent epochs. We prove that ATCF is a 2-approximation algorithm for the associated transaction assignment problem. Simulation results show that ATCF can effectively improve the blockchain throughput and reduce the number of cross-shard transactions.

Dynamic Multi-Objective Optimization Algorithm for Classification of Decision Variables Based on Objective Monotonicity

Dynamic multi-objective optimization problems (DMOPs) are prevalent in daily life, and the aim of dealing with DMOPs is to track the moving Pareto Front(PF) and find a series of Pareto Sets (PS) at different moments. Strategies based on decision variable classification improve the performance of multi-objective evolutionary algorithms. However, it has been a challenge to ensure fast and accurate classification. In this study, a decision variable classification method based on objective monotonicity(CDMO) is proposed to reduce the negative effects of inaccurate classification. In addition, a multi-step convergence prediction method and a diversity maintenance strategy are proposed to improve the algorithm performance. The effectiveness of the CDMO algorithm is verified by comparing it with three state-of-the-art DMOEAs on 16 benchmark test problems. The experimental results show that the CDMO algorithm is able to obtain high-quality populations with good convergence and distributivity in a dynamic environment. © 2023, The Authors.
