Incremental Verification of Evolving BPEL-Based Web Composite Service

Web composite services inevitably evolve to meet various requirements. However, most researchers only considered the verification of single versions. Simply reapplying the original verification techniques on subsequent versions of composite service as they evolve is costly,especially for large-scale services. In this paper, a new approach called Incremental verification(ICV) is proposed to incrementally verify the non-conflict property of evolved versions of Business process execution language(BPEL)based composite service. With a kind of e Xtensible control flow graph(XCFG) as the formal model to describe the BPEL process, ICV compares the new version with the old one to identify the process changes which bring threats to the non-conflict property. Then it concentrates on the changed elements to perform the verification, which reduces the cost by skipping the analysis of unchanged elements. Case study shows that the proposed approach is effective and more efficient than the original verification method.

Multi-label learning with label enhancement

—The task of multi-label learning is to predict a set of relevant labels for the unseen instance. Traditional multi-label learning algorithms treat each class label as a logical indicator of whether the corresponding label is relevant or irrelevant to the instance, i.e., +1 represents relevant to the instance and -1 represents irrelevant to the instance. Such label represented by -1 or +1 is called logical label. Logical label cannot reflect different label importance. However, for real-world multi-label learning problems, the importance of each possible label is generally different. For the real applications, it is difficult to obtain the label importance information directly. Thus we need a method to reconstruct the essential label importance from the logical multilabel data. To solve this problem, we assume that each multi-label instance is described by a vector of latent real-valued labels, which can reflect the importance of the corresponding labels. Such label is called numerical label. The process of reconstructing the numerical labels from the logical multi-label data via utilizing the logical label information and the topological structure in the feature space is called Label Enhancement. In this paper, we propose a novel multi-label learning framework called LEMLL, i.e., Label Enhanced Multi-Label Learning, which incorporates regression of the numerical labels and label enhancement into a unified framework. Extensive comparative studies validate that the performance of multi-label learning can be improved significantly with label enhancement and LEMLL can effectively reconstruct latent label importance information from logical multi-label data. SED：An SDN-Based Explicit-Deadline-Aware TCP for Cloud Data Center networks

Cloud data centers now provide a plethora of rich online applications such as web search, social networking, and cloud computing. A key challenge for such applications, however, is to meet soft real-time constraints. Due to the deadline-agnostic congestion control in Transmission Control Protocol（TCP）, many deadline-sensitive flows cannot finish transmission before their deadlines. In this paper, we propose an SDNbased Explicit-Deadline-aware TCP（SED） for cloud Data Center networks（DCN）. SED assigns a base rate for non-deadline flows first and gives spare bandwidth to the deadline flows as much as possible. Subsequently,a Retransmission-enhanced SED（RSED） is introduced to solve the packet-loss timeout problem. Through our experiments, we show that SED can make flows meet deadlines effectively, and that it significantly outperforms previous protocols in the cloud data center environment.

Cryptanalysis and improvement of quantum broadcast communication and authentication protocol with a quantum one-time pad

The security of quantum broadcast communication（QBC） and authentication protocol based on Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger（GHZ） state and quantum one-time pad is analyzed. It is shown that there are some security issues in this ***, an external eavesdropper can take the intercept–measure–resend attack strategy to eavesdrop on 0.369 bit of every bit of the identity string of each receiver without being detected. Meanwhile, 0.524 bit of every bit of the secret message can be eavesdropped on without being detected. Secondly, an inner receiver can take the intercept–measure–resend attack strategy to eavesdrop on half of the identity string of the other＇s definitely without being checked. In addition, an alternative attack called the CNOT-operation attack is discussed. As for the multi-party QBC protocol, the attack efficiency increases with the increase of the number of users. Finally, the QBC protocol is improved to a secure one.

Cloud computing accelerates the processing of big data applications by providing elastic virtual machines. Spot instances are virtual machines sold by auctions which offer lower prices (called Spot prices) than the same virtual machines with fixed prices. Spot prices change stochastically according to the real-time user demands and supplies. Accurate Spot price prediction helps users choose appropriate resources and set optimal bids to reduce resource rental cost. However, great fluctuations of recent Spot prices decrease the prediction accuracy of existing autoregression based prediction methods. Therefore, in this paper, a Hidden Markov Model and Expectation based prediction method (HMM-E) is proposed which uses Markov processes to describe the different demand markets of Cloud computing (hidden states) and the fluctuation degrees of Spot prices (observations) separately. Experimental results demonstrate that HMM-E predicts Spot prices more accurately than the existing autoregression based forecasting methods when the forecast period is shorter than about five hours.

Multi-label learning deals with objects with rich semantics where each example is associated with multiple class labels simultaneously. Intuitively, each class label is supposed to possess specific characteristics of its own. Therefore, exploiting label-specific features serves as one of the promising techniques to learn from multi-label examples. Specifically, the LIFT approach generates the label-specific features by clustering the multi-label training examples in a label-wise style, which ignores the utilization of label correlations to improve generalization performance. In this paper, a new multi-label learning method named LIFTACE (multi-label learning with Label-specIfic FeaTures viA Clustering Ensemble) is proposed, which generates label-specific features by considering label correlations via clustering ensemble techniques. Extensive experimental results show that, LIFTACE can achieve better generalization performance than LIFT by exploiting label correlations in label-specific features generation.

The information leakage problem often exists in bidirectional quantum secure direct communication or quantum dialogue. In this work, we find that this problem also exists in the one-way quantum secure communication protocol [Chin. Phys. Lett. 32 （2015） 050301]. Specifically, the first bit of every four-bit message block is leaked out without awareness. A way to improve the information leakage problem is given.

As online advertisements are increasing in number, many ad filtering tools have emerged, among which the most widely-used are AdBlock and AdBlock Plus. To use these tools effectively is of significance to the network users. First, this paper analyzes the filtering performance of both AdBlock and AdBlock Plus, using the percentage of ad requests blocked when accessing a web page in the total number of page requests, as well as web page loading time as two specific metrics for comparison. According to the results, AdBlock surpasses AdBlock Plus in terms of ad filtering capability, and the difference between those two tools is mainly due to different default filter lists they use. Then taking video and game filtering as an example, this paper explores how to use ad filtering tools to achieve traffic filtering with specific requirements on the basis of ad filtering principle and rule grammar. In such way, ad filtering tools are expanded to web traffic filtering in specific application scenarios.

WebSocket is a TCP-based protocol, providing full-duplex communication channels over a single TCP connection. In recent years, more and more developers choose to use it to develop applications. This paper discusses the traditional real-time Web communication schemes, and analyzes the advantages of WebSocket. Based on the deep study of WebSocket, a real-time campus information push solution based on WebSocket and *** is proposed. This paper expatiates the overall structure of the scheme, designs and realizes the functions of each module, and the functional testing results show that the scheme is feasible.
