This paper introduces energy storage technology in Power Grid. In order to study the voltage stability of power system, the basic bifurcation theory is used to analyze the common bifurcation phenomenon and the effects of bifurcation on the voltage stability. In this paper, the application of static and dynamic bifurcation in voltage stability studies is reviewed respectively. In the static bifurcation analysis, the saddle node bifurcation (SNB) and the limit induced bifurcation (LIB) are analyzed emphatically. In the dynamic bifurcation analysis, Hopf bifurcation (HB) and singular induced bifurcation (SIB) are analyzed emphatically. These four kings of bifurcation causing mainly voltage instability are discussed and summarized detailedly;the advantages and disadvantages of these methods are compared. Finally, the further research field of bifurcation theory applied in voltage stability analysis is prospected. © 2018 IEEE.

In modern society, in order to solve the traditional energy sources the more serious environmental pollution and energy shortage problems, all countries are vigorously promoting the development of new energy sources and the low-carbon electricity. This overview describes the advantages of using wind power, status of development of China and foreign wind power, the development of wind power technology and the future trend of wind power. Application of big data techniques in power system will contribute to the sustainable development of power industry companies and the establishment of strong smart grid. This paper presents a review on smart grids and big data. In order to achieve this, available articles in the literature were reviewed in perception with the features of big data and smart grids. Potential issues for smart grids and big data analytics were discussed. The recent solutions and challenges in smart grids and big data analytics were presented. The technologies used for smart big data analytics were evaluated. The contribution of this article was then presented. The results have been shown that "data" is now a new feature to be added as a main component of power systems. © 2018 IEEE.

With the rapid development of smart grid and information technology, Energy Internet has been attracting increasing attention from government as well industry. The current power grid and energy management system cannot meet optimal allocation and auxiliary function of clean energy power *** Energy router is an effective power device which cannot only realise the power control of each power supply, but also can optimise the allocation of electrical energy by communication *** an Energy Internet, energy router is the key element to receive, control, transmit, transfer, store and distribute energies, just like what a conventional router does in *** energy router is designed as a control center on the distribution side. Based on conventional concept of energy hub, new features and improvements, including combining information processing unit, adding renewable energy as input power, proposing cost deduction solutions, and redesigning the storage system, have been added in designing energy router, which is to realize the final target of Energy *** the end, with the consideration of market conditions, energy routers can be constructed based on existed industrial foundation, including in the markets that are controlled by monopoly electricity enterprises. Feasibility analysis and related advantages of developing energy routers are provided in the paper. © 2018 IEEE.

Smart Grid Network (SGN) is one of the innovative trends towards efficient and intelligent use of the conventional and unconventional resources of energy with respect to electric power generation, transmission and distribution. Future smart grids are expected to have reliable, efficient, secured, and cost-effective power management with the implementation of distributed architecture. To focus on these requirements, in this paper we provide a comprehensive research on different cloud computing applications for the smart grid architecture, in three different areas-energy management, cloud monitoring and security. In these areas, the utility of cloud computing applications is discussed, while giving directions on future opportunities for the development of the smart grid. © 2018 IEEE.

The study of energy saving of motor is hot issues in shortage of energy today. Most researchers have done a lot of works to study the energy saving of motor. Asynchronous motor in daily life, especially in the industrial production plays a very important role. Asynchronous motor is the main energy consumer. In practice, due to various reasons, the asynchronous motor run frequently under the condition of no load or light load, the condition of motor power factor and the efficiency is low, even the large electric energy waste and the loss of money. If the energy saving of asynchronous motor is in control and the efficiency of the motor is improved, the considerable electricity quantity for increasingly energy conservation will have extremely great significance for our society, nowadays. From the perspective of energy-saving of asynchronous motor, this paper introduces the new situation of the asynchronous motor energy-saving's introduction, significance and research status at home and abroad. This paper mainly discussed the key technology of asynchronous motor energy-saving and its existing problems and briefly introduced its future development trend. © 2018 IEEE.

With the emergence of the energy crisis, more and more attention has been focused on energy saving. The energy saving technology of motor has also been widely concerned, because it is the main energy consumer. As the most potential energy saving technology, the variable frequency speed regulation has a good prospect of energy saving. It is of great significance to study the variable frequency speed control technology. This paper analyses the loss of asynchronous motor, and mainly discussed the key technology and existing problems of the variable frequency speed regulation. © 2018 IEEE.
