Interactive medical image segmentation methods have become increasingly popular in recent years. These methods combine manual labeling and automatic segmentation, reducing the workload of annotation while maintaining high accuracy. However, most current interactive segmentation frameworks are limited to 2D image data, and are not suitable for 3D image data due to the large size and high complexity of 3D data, as well as the challenges posed by information asymmetry and sparse annotation. In this paper, we propose SliceProp, an interactive segmentation framework that implements slice-wise Label Bidirectional Propagation (LBP) for 3D medical image segmentation. SliceProp extends the interactive 2D image segmentation algorithm to 3D image segmentation, and can handle 3D data with large size and high complexity. Moreover, equipped with a Backtracking Feedback Check (BFC) module, SliceProp effectively addresses the issues of information asymmetry and spatial sparse annotation in 3D medical image segmentation. Additionally, we adopt an uncertainty-based criterion to pri-oritize the slices to be refined interactively, which enhances the efficiency of the interaction process by enabling the model to focus on the regions with the most unreliable predictions. SliceProp is evaluated on two datasets and achieves promising results compared to state-of-the-art methods. © 2023 IEEE.

In order to address the issues of real-time performance and the low dependency between feature channels in fabric defect detection networks, this paper proposes the ESE-YOLOv5 network based on YOLOv5. Firstly, to address the relative redundancy of the neck detection network feature channels, a relatively lightweight and efficient convolution module is adopted to ensure accuracy while reducing computation and parameter volume. Furthermore, the Efficient Squeeze-Excitation (ESE) module is introduced into the backbone to optimize the dependency of feature channels, which enhances the model's feature extraction capacity and improves detection accuracy. Experimental results show that compared to YOLOv5, the proposed ESE-YOLOv5 model reduces computation and parameter volume while improving accuracy, meeting the needs of fabric defect detection for recognizing fabric defects that have similar characteristics to the background while maintaining real-time performance. © 2023 IEEE.

The attention mechanism has been widely used and achieved good results in many visual tasks. But the calculations of attention mechanism in vision tasks consume huge spaces and times, which is the obvious disadvantage of this method. In order to alleviate this problem, we use the DWT(Discrete Wavelet Transform) method to reduce the complexity of attention calculation. DWT can transform an N-dimensional vector into two vectors, one is the low-frequency component of N/2 dimension and the other is high-frequency component of N/2 dimension too. We only use the low-frequency to calculate the attention matrixes, which can reduce the complexity of matrix multiplication, then the time and space consumption of the network is reduced significantly. We also find that the building segmentation in the remote sensing image is different from the other scene segmentation, that the sizes and numbers of different classes of the targets in the general scene images are obvious. Despite all this, our method is still applicable for the targets with large numbers and sizes in general scene images, but not for the targets with small sizes and numbers, and this view is also verified by the subsequent experiments on different datasets. We apply our method on three typical networks (Danet, Swin and Segmenter), and carry out comprehensive experiments on the Cityscape dataset and three building segmentation datasets (Inria Aerial Dataset, Massachusetts Buildings Dataset and Chinese Style Architecture Dataset). The experiments show that, our method is more suitable for building segmentation and can reduce the complexity of the model calculation in building segmentation, and the Mean IoU of segmentation results is not reduced clearly, some even improved. © 2023 ACM.

The Area Under the ROC Curve (AUC) is a well-known metric for evaluating instance-level long-tail learning problems. In the past two decades, many AUC optimization methods have been proposed to improve model performance under long-tail distributions. In this paper, we explore AUC optimization methods in the context of pixel-level long-tail semantic segmentation, a much more complicated scenario. This task introduces two major challenges for AUC optimization techniques. On one hand, AUC optimization in a pixel-level task involves complex coupling across loss terms, with structured inner-image and pairwise inter-image dependencies, complicating theoretical analysis. On the other hand, we find that mini-batch estimation of AUC loss in this case requires a larger batch size, resulting in an unaffordable space complexity. To address these issues, we develop a pixel-level AUC loss function and conduct a dependency-graph-based theoretical analysis of the algorithm's generalization ability. Additionally, we design a Tail-Classes Memory Bank (T-Memory Bank) to manage the significant memory demand. Finally, comprehensive experiments across various benchmarks confirm the effectiveness of our proposed AUCSeg method. To design an efficient protocol for sharing the encrypted lock keys in the renting house system,we introduce a new notion called time-and identitybased proxy reencryption(TIPRE)and the blockchain *** CPA secure TIPRE scheme is constructed from Green et al.’s identity-based proxy reencryption scheme by adding the time *** every time period,a time stamp authority generates a public key embedded with the current time stamp for each *** our protocol for the renting house system,the TIPRE scheme is the primary building block,and the blockchain platform serves instead of a trusted third party,such as a real estate agency between landlords and *** TIPRE scheme allows the landlord to change the lock key at each time period for *** blockchain platform allows the landlords and tenants to directly interact,and all of the interactions are recorded in the blockchain database to provide the desired security requirements,such as nonrepudiation and ***,we provide the secure analysis of our protocol and test its performance by implementing it in the MacBook Pro and the Intel Edison development platforms.

Recently, Discriminative Correlation Filter based trackers have increasingly become popular in the domain of visual object tracking, which is benefited by their effective and robustness in terms of tracking performance. However, the significant variations of target appearance, such as Occlusion or Deformation, always suppress the performance improvement. Although the multi-feature fusion strategy partly alleviates the above factors, the synthetic scheme also ambiguates the overall presentation ability of multiple features and results in degradation of discriminative power during classification filter learning. In this paper, we present a novel tracking framework based on the correlation filter with multiple kernel learning. Instead of directly integrating different features, we decompose a tracking process into several module, including low-dimension modules and high-dimension modules. The handcraft features extracted from low-dimension modules are robust to the small variation of target while the semantic convolutional features from the high-dimension modules can distinguish the target object from the relative complex tracking environment. In addition, we also design a reliability detection mechanism based on the confidence map to accurately measure the important degree of each kernel learning and precisely estimate the target state in the subsequent frames. For verifying our proposed tracker, we conduct extensive experiments on several standard sequence benchmark. Experiment results show that our proposed trackers perform favorably against other state-of-the-art trackers. © 2022 ACM.

Component segmentation is a crucial task in satellite recognition and tracking, focusing on separating the target from the background and segmenting its internal components for detailed structural analysis. Nevertheless, this task faces significant challenges due to viewpoint variations, illumination changes, and noise interference. To address these challenges, we first propose an improved multi-task network based on U-Net for three-class segmentation, binary segmentation, and edge detection of satellite. The proposed multi-task segmentation framework enables the network to perform fine-grained segmentation of complex satellite structures under varying illumination and viewpoints, thus enhancing the model's robustness. In the edge detection task, we introduce an edge-aware network that extracts multi-scale edge features using a multi-scale convolutional network, which improves the separability of different components. Additionally, we propose a symmetry regularization loss that leverages the satellite's structural symmetry to guide segmentation and improve performance. Experiments demonstrate the efficacy of our method for the satellite component segmentation task.

Computer-aided drug design and artificial intelligence-driven drug design have accelerated drug discovery. However, how to design effective drugs that have strong interaction ability with target proteins to further improve the efficacy of drugs in treating diseases remains a key issue. This paper proposes a new target-specific drug generative model 3CLpro2mol to generate new drug molecules, which uses features of drug-target interactions (DTIs) to constrain the correlation between the drug and the target protein. To obtain as many drug-target interaction features as possible from a small amount of data, a small molecule extraction strategy is proposed to ensure the diversity of small molecules in the training samples. To improve the efficiency and accuracy of the generative model, a TOP K sampling strategy is used to generate tokens, which can improve the rationality and diversity of the generated molecules. The experimental results show that the proposed model has the potential to generate small molecules that interact better with the target protein. © 2023 IEEE.

The existing power load data exhibits complex multidimensionality, while existing techniques often focus on learning and forecasting from single load data. To fully exploit the complex multidimensionality of the existing power load data and enhance the accuracy of short-term load forecasting, a smart grid short-term load forecasting model based on attention mechanism and CNN-BiLSTM is proposed. Firstly, the one-dimensional convolutional network (1D-CNN) slides along the temporal dimension to extract multidimensional features such as temperature and humidity from the raw power load data. Secondly, the Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory network (BiLSTM) captures both historical and future information of the data through gate mechanisms and the bidirectional network structure. Lastly, the attention mechanism allocates weights to focus on important parts of the load sequence data, enhancing the model's ability to identify key information and further improving the accuracy of short-term power load forecasting. The method is experimented on a real-world multivariate load dataset and compared with existing learning methods. The proposed model achieved lower RMSE in 24-hour load forecasting compared to CNN-LSTM, CNN-BiLSTM, LSTM-Attention, BiLSTM-Attention and CNN-LSTM-Attention models by 13.2%, 10.6%, 6.7%, 5.7% and 5.9% respectively. © 2024 IEEE.

With the development of the maritime industry, the number and capacity of existing port cold-ironing (CI) equipment can no longer meet the power demand of ships during berthing, resulting in significant carbon emissions from ships within the port area. Therefore, a ship power sharing strategy based on Shapley value method and Cartel mechanism is proposed. Firstly, the rolling optimization model of ship power scheduling is established to adjust the ship power scheduling strategy according to the real-time information. Secondly, the cooperative game model of ship power sharing is established, and the cost sharing among cooperative ships is realized by Shapley value method. Finally, in order to reduce the situation that ships increase their own profits by deviating from cooperation and affect the overall profits, this paper introduces Cartel mechanism to punish the behavior of deviating from cooperation. The simulation results show that the power sharing strategy proposed in this paper can reduce the total ship cost and carbon emission by 5.28% and 3.78%, respectively. The introduction of Cartel mechanism can increase the cost of non-cooperative behavior, thus ensuring that all ships take cooperative behavior. The power sharing strategy based on Shapley method and Cartel mechanism proposed in this paper is helpful to the construction of green ports. © 2024 IEEE.
