In recent years, with the emergence of deep learning methods, Neural Machine Translation has become a new research direction of machine translation. Due to the scarcity of digital resources in Tibetan, there is only a small-scale Tibetan-Chinese bilingual parallel corpus to train translation models. In the case of insufficient resources, the performance of Neural Machine Translation decreases significantly. In this regard, considering that the word alignment results in Tibetan-Chinese Statistical Machine Translation are better, and the alignment information in Tibetan-Chinese Neural Machine Translation model is significantly different from that in Tibetan-Chinese Statistical Machine Translation, this paper proposes a Tibetan-Chinese Neural Machine Translation method that integrates statistical methods. We using Statistical Machine Translation method to generate word alignment information of Tibetan-Chinese parallel corpus to supervise the training process of Tibetan-Chinese Neural Machine Translation model to make the model achieve more accurate translation and alignment effect. Experimental results show that this method can effectively improve translation quality in low resource environment. © 2023 ACM.

Human motion prediction is of great importance for artificial intelligence systems, particularly in fields like autonomous driving and human-computer interaction. Existing methods have achieved good results in simple motions with small changes but still struggle with coherence in predicting complex motions with large changes in a short time. Regarding the issue in current methods, this paper proposes a novel network composed of three modules: spatial encoders that captures correlations between joints, temporal encoders that models the movement patterns of joints across frames, and a multi-frame temporal encoder that learns high-level temporal correlations to enhance prediction coherence. In addition, we propose to use Weighted Mean Per-Joint Position Error (WMPJPE) as the loss function by considering that different joints of the human skeleton have different effects on the entire action. We evaluate our method on the Human3.6M, AMASS, and 3DPW datasets. The quantitative results indicate that our method notably outperforms other methods in the prediction range of 160ms to 560ms. PHT-CAD: Efficient CAD Parametric Primitive Analysis with Progressive Hierarchical Tuning

Computer-Aided Design (CAD) plays a pivotal role in industrial manufacturing, yet 2D Parametric Primitive Analysis (PPA) remains underexplored due to two key challenges: structural constraint reasoning and advanced semantic understanding. To tackle these challenges, we first propose an Efficient Hybrid Parametrization (EHP) for better representing 2D engineering drawings. EHP contains four types of atomic component (i.e., point, line, circle, and arc). Additionally, we propose PHT-CAD, a novel 2D PPA framework that harnesses the modality alignment and reasoning capabilities of Vision-Language Models (VLMs) for precise engineering drawing analysis. In PHT-CAD, we introduce four dedicated regression heads to predict corresponding atomic components. To train PHT-CAD, a three-stage training paradigm Progressive Hierarchical Tuning (PHT) is proposed to progressively enhance PHT-CAD’s capability to perceive individual primitives, infer structural constraints, and align annotation layers with their corresponding geometric representations. Considering that existing datasets lack complete annotation layers and real-world engineering drawings, we introduce ParaCAD, the first large-scale benchmark that explicitly integrates both the geometric and annotation layers. ParaCAD comprises over 10 million annotated drawings for training and 3,000 real-world industrial drawings with complex topological structures and physical constraints for test. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of PHT-CAD and highlight the practical significance of ParaCAD in advancing 2D PPA research. Many phenomena in realistic complex systems can be explained by the synchronisation behavior of complex systems, such as cricket chirping in unison. The synchronisation behavior occurring on a hypernetwork can be used to explain the swarming behavior occurring on a multivariate interacting system, such as the synchronised forwarding of group messages. There is a lack of results related to phase synchronization of hypernetwork in the existing studies on the synchronization behavior of hypernetworks. To address this problem, this paper investigates the node-based and hyperedge-based phase synchronisation of a scale-free hypernetwork using the Kuramoto model with the order parameter r as the synchronisation degree indicator. The comparative analysis reveals that the phase synchronisation of the scale-free hypernetwork is related to the uniformity k of the hypernetwork but not to the number of nodes and hyperedges, and the phase synchronisation based on hyperedges is more likely to occur than that based on nodes as the coupling strength increases. In addition, the degree of phase synchronisation of scale-free hypernetworks is related to the number of new_nodes of newly added nodes when the hyperedge grows during the construction of the hypernetwork, which shows that the smaller the new_nodes is, the better the degree of synchronisation of the hypernetwork is. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

With the rapid increase in circuit density in Very Large Scale Integration, the proportion of interconnect delay in circuit timing is also increasing. This makes the importance of layer assignment algorithms increasingly prominent in circuit design. However, most previous layer assignment algorithms prioritize optimizing timing exclusively from the perspective of interconnect delay, thereby disregarding the impact of slew violations on circuits. Therefore, this paper proposes a slew-driven layer assignment algorithm, which considers the timing of different routing layers and introduces non-default-rule wires to design a layer assignment algorithm that can significantly optimize delay, congestion, and slew violations. This algorithm mainly includes three key technologies: 1) Introducing non-default-rule wires technology to optimize timing and adopting a negotiation based approach to ensure that the final routing scheme does not have overflow;2) Proposing a slew prioritization strategy that comprehensively considers slew and interconnect delay during the routing process;3) Proposing a timing critical awareness strategy to further optimize the slew and interconnect delay without worsening the overflow. This paper presents a novel pencil beam generation method based on computational holography. The method generates intensity maps through computer simulation, obtains a computed hologram using a computational holographic method, and simulates near-field diffraction using computer simulation to simulate the role of a spatial light modulator (SLM) in a real holographic system. The theoretical effects of the computed hologram are simulated using computer simulation, and finally, a pencil-shaped beam with a focus position that can be flexibly adjusted at all depths is generated. Through experimental simulations, the feasibility of adjusting the focus position of the beam within a certain depth range is verified, showing its potential application value in fluorescence excitation and biomedical fields. © 2025 SPIE.

Communities exist anywhere in various complex networks, and community evolution tracking is one of the most well-liked areas of inquiry in the study of dynamic complex networks. Community evolution tracking has many applications in daily life, such as predicting social network behaviors or analyzing the spread of infectious illnesses. However, the majority of existing evolution tracking algorithms obtain community detection results before matching the community in tracking evolution events, making it difficult to trace the whole evolution of communities because of community matching errors. In addition, the majority of evolution tracking algorithms do not adequately account for the potential scenarios in community evolution, resulting in erroneous detection of evolution events. In this research, a community evolution tracking algorithm based on edge variation discerning and core node extension is proposed. First, we detect communities based on the core node extension strategy, which avoids the problem of community matching errors. Second, we track community evolution based on the edge variation discerning strategy, which fully considers various situations that may occur during the community evolution process. According to the outputs of our experiments, our system can effectively track the evolution of communities in synthetic dynamic networks. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

It is projected that plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs) would steadily increase as household appliances. However, PEVs’ high power consumption, stochastic usage patterns, and storage capacity will surely result in a rise in the elasticity of demand response and pose significant difficulties for price-based residential demand response management (PRDRM). This artcle aims to optimize a two-tier globally shared nonconvex PRDRM problem with local constraints and PEVs, known as social welfare: maximizing retailer profits and minimizing the combined residential costs. This is done by balancing residential electricity use with retail electricity prices in an unknown market environment. The proposed online/offline model-free reinforcement learning-based economic dispatch (MFRL-ED) methods can adaptively decide on the ideal retail price sequence by integrating the daily residential-retailer behavior model with the agent-environment interaction method, providing a basic MFRL-ED solution for PRDRM without a system identification step and an accurate load-retail model. Experiments show that MFRL-ED methods provide an effective class of PRDRM solutions. © 2023 Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. All rights reserved.
