Online Multi-Label Streaming Feature Selection by Label Enhancement and Fuzzy Synergistic Discrimination information

Online streaming feature selection is an effective approach for handling large-scale streaming data in real-world applications. However, many existing online streaming feature selection studies do not effectively leverage the correlation and hidden information in the label space. The measures used in streaming feature selection often face challenges such as computational complexity and insufficient information exploitation. To address these issues, we propose an online streaming feature selection method based on label enhancement and fuzzy synergistic discrimination information. Firstly, we define a novel label enhancement method based on label correlation, which does not require any prior knowledge of feature space. Secondly, we propose a new measure to evaluate the discriminative ability of multiple feature subsets for labels in fuzzy environment, called fuzzy synergistic discrimination information. It is bounded and has many interesting properties. The fuzzy synergistic discrimination information is computed directly based on fuzzy similarity relations, so the calculation is relatively simple. Thirdly, based on label enhancement and proposed fuzzy synergistic discrimination information, we construct a three-stage online multi-label streaming feature selection method, including online significance analysis, online relevance analysis and online redundancy analysis. Finally, comparative experiments on 12 datasets demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method. The influences of different feature sequences and these components on the algorithm's performance are further analyzed. © 1993-2012 IEEE.

Carbonyl sulfide(COS)is an effective tracer for estimating Gross Primary Productivity(GPP)in the carbon *** the largest contribution to the atmosphere,anthropogenic COS emissions must be accurately *** this study,an anthropogenic COS emission inventory from 2015 to 2021 was constructed by applying the bottom-up approach based on activity data from emission ***’s anthropogenic COS emissions increased from approximately 171 to 198 Gg S yr^(-1)from 2015-2021,differing from the trends of other *** an initial decline in COS emissions across sectors during the early stage of the COVID-19 pandemic,a rapid rebound in emissions occurred following the resumption of economic *** 2021,industrial sources,coal combustion,agriculture and vehicle exhaust accounted for 76.8%,12.3%,10.5%and 0.4%of total COS emissions,*** aluminum industry was the primary COS emitter among industrial sources,contributing40.7% of total ***,Shanxi,and Zhejiang were the top three provinces in terms of anthropogenic COS emissions,reaching 39,21 and 17 Gg S yr-1,***-level regions(hereafter province)with high COS emissions are observed mainly in the eastern and coastal regions of China,which,together with the wind direction,helps explain the pattern of high COS concentrations in the Western Pacific Ocean in *** Green Contribution Coefficient of COS(GCCCOS)was used to assess the relationship between GDP and COS emissions,highlighting the disparity between GDP and COS contributions to green *** part of this analysis,relevant recommendations are proposed to address this *** COS emission inventory in our study can be used as input for the Sulfur Transport and Deposition Model(STEM),reducing uncertainties in the atmospheric COS source?sink budget and promoting understanding of the atmosphere sulfur cycle.

Deep learning has become a popular approach for improving acoustic echo cancellation (AEC) in communication systems. However, existing systems mostly rely on traditional delay estimation methods, which often result in performance degradation due to inaccurate delay estimation. Furthermore, most deep learning-based methods use single-stage networks, the limited learning capability of which hinders the performance under harsh echo conditions. To address these challenges, this paper proposes a two-stage system with dual-path alignment. The two-stage strategy performs echo suppression on the magnitude spectrum in the first stage, followed by phase correction in the second one. In addition, the first stage processes two parallel features: the magnitude spectrum and its exponential compressed version, with which dual-path alignment is conducted to improve delay estimation. Experiment results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed system for echo suppression in challenging scenarios involving long delay, double-talk and nonlinear distortion.

Social media is a platform for people to share their lives and interact with others. Image sharing is an integral component. Privacy information will inevitably be compromised during the process of sharing whole photos. Sometimes, it is not even caused by the person who shares the image but the third party who forwards the image. In the majority of cases, we do not attempt to protect the entirety of the media;rather, we seek to protect the most crucial portion, whether it is the background or specific objects, which decreasing superfluous cryptography procedures. Unfortunately, current research on such field is extremely rare. In this research, we established a novel pixel-level image encryption technique relying on Panoptic FCN panoramic segmentation and chaos for client-intended images on social media sites. Our suggested technology is capable of automated picture encryption on either the whole images or user-selected areas, whether they are rectangular or irregular, which is suited for all region of interest (ROI) encryption. Relying on a novel coupled chaotic map, this universal new encryption method flattens the array of the image ROI into a series of pixels. The module of Panoptic FCN can be replaced by any other panoptic segmentation models which are stronger in performance. Statistical and cryptographic evaluations demonstrate that our technique preserves the high efficiency for practical applications. © 2023 SPIE. All rights reserved.

Zero-shot learning (ZSL) utilizes semantic information that is auxiliary information to transfer knowledge from seen classes to unseen classes, thereby realizing the recognition of unseen classes. The generative methods train the model to generate pseudo image features for the unseen classes, thus transforming ZSL into a supervised learning problem. However, the classification performances of these methods still suffer from weak generalization. To address this issue, the paper proposes a novel Generative Adversarial Network based on Generative Feature Constraint (GFCGAN). First, based on the LsrGAN [1], a semantic constraint module is added to restrict the generated image features by keeping the semantic information consistent. Then, in the case of keeping the semantic relationships between classes consistent, the generated image features of unseen classes are farther away from the feature prototypes of their most similar classes in both semantic and feature space so as to train the generative model and generate high-quality pseudo image features. Finally, the trained classifier is used to classify images of unseen classes. Experiments on standard datasets verify the effectiveness of our model and achieve good results. © 2022 IEEE.

In this paper, we introduce and analyze two Mann-type implicit inertial sub-gradient extragradient algorithms for solving the monotone bilevel equilibrium problem with a general system of variational inclusions and a common fixed-point problem of a finite family of strict pseudocontraction mappings and an asymptotically nonexpansive mapping constraints. Integrated photonic gadgets play a key function in lots of fields. The process of designing silicon optical devices mostly relies on experience to manually adjust the subtle parameters, which is laborious and ineffective. The proposed inverse design algorithms can simplify the design process of silicon optical devices, improve the design efficiency, and realize multifunctional compact devices. In this paper, two inverse design based methods are proposed to design terahertz band wavelength division multiplexer(WDM). One is based on topology optimization to design a 4-channel ultra-wideband WDM and the other employs a direct binary search technique to create a 3-channel ultra-wideband terahertz WDM, both of which have high transmission, low interference and high integration. Multifunctional photonics devices are predicted to be increasingly used in modern photonic integrated circuits due to these advantages. © 2022 IEEE.

In order to obtain an absorber with high absorption efficiency and wide absorption band, a metamaterial structure by Metal-ENZ-Insulator-Metal (MEIM) is designed, and its absorption in the 130-230 THz band is calculated using the simulation software frequency-domain solver. By rotating the upper metal layer and the lower hollow layer, the simulation results can be slightly disturbed. In addition, the introduction of the epsilon-near-zero (ENZ) media will also affect the bandwidth and absorption of the absorber. Therefore, the high absorption and wide bandwidth of the absorber are achieved by the size of the structure, the rotation angle of the corresponding structure,and the clever application of the ITO layer. © 2022 IEEE.
