Fast assignment reduction in inconsistent incomplete decision systems

This paper focuses on fast algorithm for computing the assignment reduct in inconsistent incomplete decision systems. It is quite inconvenient to judge the assignment reduct directly ac-cording to its definition. We propose the judgment theorem for the assignment reduct in the inconsistent incomplete decision system, which greatly simplifies judging this type reduct. On such basis, we derive a novel attribute significance measure and construct the fast assignment reduction algorithm （F-ARA）, intended for com-puting the assignment reduct in inconsistent incomplete decision systems. Final y, we make a comparison between F-ARA and the discernibility matrix-based method by experiments on 13 Univer-sity of California at Irvine （UCI） datasets, and the experimental results prove that F-ARA is efficient and feasible.

Dynamic performance evaluation that takes into account the inertial properties is an important issue for both the behavior analysis and dimensional synthesis of parallel kinematic manipulators (PKMs). Firstly, by virtue of the principle of virtual work, the complete inverse dynamic model of a 3-prismatic-universal-universal (PUU) parallel manipulator is formulated, which does not neglect the inertial and gravitational properties of the struts. The condition number of generalized inertia matrix can evaluate the mapping from joint accelerations to realizable joint torques. This paper utilizes the condition number of generalized inertia matrix as the index to evaluate the dynamic dexterity property of a 3-PUU PKM which possesses three translational degrees of freedom. For a given set of geometrical and inertia parameters, numerical simulations indicate that the global dynamic dexterity performance of this type of 3-PUU PKM is consistent with the local dynamic dexterity on a specific z--plane, it has the best dynamic dexterity at the center of task workspace and decreases from the center to the edge of task workspace.

The key frames extraction technique extracts key postures to describe the original motion sequence, which has been widely used in motion compression, motion retrieval, motion edition and so on. In this paper, we propose a method based on the amplitude of curve to find key frames in a motion captured sequence. First we select a group of joint distance features to represent the motion and adopt the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) method to obtain the one dimension principal component as a features curve which will be used. Then we gain the initial key-frames by extracting the local optimum points in the curve. At last, we get the final key frames by inserting frames based on the amplitude of the curve and merging key frames too close. A number of experimental examples demonstrate that our method is practicable and efficient not only in the visual performance but also in the aspect of the compression ratio and error rate.

Motif mining based on network space compression

A network motif is a recurring subnetwork within a network, and it takes on certain functions in practical biological macromolecule applications. Previous algorithms have focused on the computational efficiency of network motif detection, but some problems in storage space and searching time manifested during earlier studies. The considerable computational and spacial complexity also presents a significant challenge. In this paper, we provide a new approach for motif mining based on compressing the searching space. According to the characteristic of the parity nodes, we cut down the searching space and storage space in real graphs and random graphs, thereby reducing the computational cost of verifying the isomorphism of sub-graphs. We obtain a new network with smaller size after removing parity nodes and the "repeated edges" connected with the parity nodes. Random graph structure and sub-graph searching are based on the Back Tracking Method; all sub-graphs can be searched for by adding edges progressively. Experimental results show that this algorithm has higher speed and better stability than its alternatives.

In this paper,the generalized Jacobian matrix and the improved Milne-Hamming linear multi-step prediction and correction algorithm are combined for solving the space manipulator trajectory tracking *** of all,controlling end-effector tracks a known trajectory by the method of pseudo inverse of generalized Jacobian ***,due to the accuracy of the solution of this approach inversely with the step-size of numerical integration,we need larger calculation to get more precise *** increase the accuracy in fixed step-size of calculation,Milne-Hamming linear multi-step prediction and correction algorithm is combined with the methods that mentioned ***,we utilize the RungeKutta method to evaluate the first four solutions of MilneHamming algorithm *** don't have enough parameters to initialize the algorithm until step ***,the validity of the algorithm is verified by computer simulation.

An intelligence optimization algorithm for solving nonlinear bilevel programming is proposed herein. In this algorithm, the upper solution space and lower reaction set of bilevel programming are looked as two growth environments of plants. Then the plant system evolution style based on growth regulation and the probability growth model based on plant phototropism theory are established. The optimization model combined with above two has realized the evolution of artificial plant from initial status to whole final status (that means no new branch growing), thus the optimal solutions of bilevel programming can be found. The algorithm herein shows its high accuracy and strong astringency. This article solves the problem of bilevel symbiosis optimization between manufacturing enterprise and logistics enterprise by using this algorithm, and the result shows that Plant Growth Simulation Algorithm (PGSA) has good effectiveness and feasibility. © 2014 ISSN 1881-803X.

We propose a new concept design about carbon-free vacuum cleaner. The carbon-free vacuum cleaner moves under the act of external forces instead of the motor, and transmits the rotation speed from low to the ideal speed with the gear up box. In order to to verify the reasonableness of the gear up mechanism and weather the designing of the gears meet the demand, we construct the detail assemble model of the gear up mechanism based on pro/e software, and then analyze the gear with the finite element analysis method. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Background: Decades of steady improvements in life expectancy in Europe slowed down from around 2011, well before the COVID-19 pandemic, for reasons which remain disputed. We aimed to assess how changes in risk factors and cause-specific death rates in different European countries related to changes in life expectancy in those countries before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: We used data and methods from the Global Burden of Diseases, Injuries, and Risk Factors Study 2021 to compare changes in life expectancy at birth, causes of death, and population exposure to risk factors in 16 European Economic Area countries (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden) and the four UK nations (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales) for three time periods: 1990–2011, 2011–19, and 2019–21. Changes in life expectancy and causes of death were estimated with an established life expectancy cause-specific decomposition method, and compared with summary exposure values of risk factors for the major causes of death influencing life expectancy. Findings: All countries showed mean annual improvements in life expectancy in both 1990–2011 (overall mean 0·23 years [95% uncertainty interval [UI] 0·23 to 0·24]) and 2011–19 (overall mean 0·15 years [0·13 to 0·16]). The rate of improvement was lower in 2011–19 than in 1990–2011 in all countries except for Norway, where the mean annual increase in life expectancy rose from 0·21 years (95% UI 0·20 to 0·22) in 1990–2011 to 0·23 years (0·21 to 0·26) in 2011–19 (difference of 0·03 years). In other countries, the difference in mean annual improvement between these periods ranged from –0·01 years in Iceland (0·19 years [95% UI 0·16 to 0·21] vs 0·18 years [0·09 to 0·26]), to –0·18 years in England (0·25 years [0·24 to 0·25] vs 0·07 years [0·06 to 0·08]). Encrypting the compressed image by chaotic map and arithmetic coding

Due to the efficient and secure requirements of image transmission, a number of research works have been done to encrypt the compressed image. Inspired by the arithmetic coding and chaotic map which are used to compress and encrypt image, respectively. In this paper, a scheme is proposed to encrypt the compressed image by chaotic map and arithmetic coding. This scheme compresses the image row by row which is firstly permuted by two logistic maps before arithmetic coding. It not only enhances the security of arithmetic coding, but also improves the compression ratio. To further improve the security of binary data which has been compressed, we use the chaotic maps to encrypt the data, and set different parameters and initial value for chaotic maps. In order to possess high sensitivities of key and plain-image, the keys that are employed to determine the parameter and initial value of chaotic maps are related to the plain-image. The experimental results validate the effect of the proposed scheme and demonstrate that the compressed and encrypted image is secure and convenient for transmission.
