This paper is concerned with the leader-following output consensus problem in the framework of distributed nonlinear observers. In stead of certain hypotheses on the leader system, a group of geometric conditions is put forward to develop a novel distributed observer strategy with less conservatism, thereby definitely improving the applicability of the existing results. To be more specific, the improved distributed observer can precisely handle consensus problems for some nonlinear leader systems which are invalid for the traditional strategies with the certain assumption, such as Elastic Shaft Single Linkage Manipulator (ESSLM) systems and most of first-order nonlinear systems. We prove the sufficient conditions for the exponential stability of our distributed observer's error dynamic by proposing two pioneered lemmas to show the relationship between the maximum eigenvalues of two matrices appearing in Lyapunov type matrices. Then, a partial feedback linearization method with zero dynamic proposed in differential geometry is employed to design a purely decentralized control law for the affine nonlinear multiagent system. With this advancement, the existing results can be regarded as a specific case owing to that the followers can be chosen as an arbitrary minimum phase affine smooth nonlinear system. At last, the novel distributed observer and the improved purely decentralized control law are applied in the distributed control framework to construct a closed-loop system. We also prove the stability of closed-loop system to achieve leader-following consensus, i.e., the distributed control framework is proved to satisfy certainty equivalence principle. During the recycling process of used electrical and electronic products from recycling places to sorting center, the vehicle path planning is an urgent problem to be solved which needs to minimize the number of vehicles and vehicle transportation distance simultaneously. To solve this problem, a multi-objective optimization algorithm is proposed which combines the genetic algorithm (GA) and multi-objective evolutionary algorithm based on decomposition (MOEA/D). Firstly, the vehicle path planning model of the sorting center is established according to characteristics of product transportation process. Secondly, the GA is used to produce some vehicle path planning schemes. Then, the MOEA/D is introduced to deal with the trade-off relationship between two objectives. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm is able to generate a set of non-dominated solutions. © 2020 IEEE.

In this paper, we first take the moving vehicles as a RP (resource pool), by which we proposed a distributed computation offloading scheme to fully utilize the available resources and reduce task execution time in I0V (Internet of Vehicles). After that, we divide a complex task into many sub-tasks and indicate that how to assign these small tasks to satisfy the task execution time in RP is a NP problem. The executing time of a task is modeled as the longest calculation time among all small tasks, which is actually a min-max problem. For a dynamically vehicular environment, a distributed computing offloading strategy based on deep reinforcement learning is proposed to find the best offloading scheme to minimize the execution time of a task. Numerical results demonstrate that our scheme is better than Partial Flooding Algorithm and can make full use of the available computing resources of surrounding vehicles by considering the mobility of vehicles, the delay of communication transmission, and the separability of the tasks, thus greatly reducing the execution time of the computing tasks.

This paper proposes a relative attitude and distance estimation algorithm based on pairwise range measurements between vehicles as well as inertial measurement of each platform. The solution of Wahba＇s Problem is introduced to compute the relative attitude between multi-platforms with the sampled pairwise ranges, in which the relative distance estimation is derived and the estimation error distributions are analyzed. An extended Kalman filter is designed to fuse the estimated attitude and distance with the inertial measurement of each platform. The relative poses between platforms are determined without any external aided measurement. To show this novelty, a real testbed is constructed by our research lab. And the experiment results are positive.

AQPDCITY dataset: Picture-based PM monitoring in the urban area of big cities

Since Particulate Matters (PMs) are closely related to people’s living and health, it has become one of the most important indicator of air quality monitoring around the world. But the existing sensor-based methods for PM monitoring have remarkable disadvantages, such as low-density monitoring stations and high-requirement monitoring conditions. It is highly desired to devise a method that can obtain the PM concentration at any location for the following air quality control in time. The prior works indicate that the PM concentration can be monitored by using ubiquitous photos. To further investigate such issue, we gathered 1,500 photos in big cities to establish a new AQPDCITY dataset. Experiments conducted to check nine state-of-the-art methods on this dataset show that the performance of those above methods perform poorly in the AQPDCITY dataset. Copyright © 2020, The Authors. Water demand prediction is the key link for the effective operation of urban intelligent water supply system. Since the non-linearity and complex variability of water consumption, it is difficult for traditional water demand prediction models to guarantee high accuracy for a long period. Different holiday types and even tiny changes in temperatures can affect urban water demand seriously. This paper proposes a Stacking-based hybrid model which integrates multi-correction mechanisms to address these problems. A better stacking model is proposed to minimize the generalization error. The stability and reliability of predictions are improved through the design of multi-correction mechanisms such as high temperature weather compensation feature, holiday-type correction model and water quantity fluctuation correction model. Comparing different models before and after stacking also before and after correcting, the prediction accuracy of the proposed hybrid model is much higher and the predictions are more stable and reliable.

The paper discusses fuzzy comparison matrices, consistency check, weight prioritization methods and weight evaluation methods in fuzzy group analytic hierarchy process. There are various methods of weight prioritization, however, they are not critically evaluated. In the paper, two measures are introduced for the evaluation of the group weights. Then, a new method is proposed to improve the process of deriving weights and use it in an application compared to another common three methods. Our results show that the new method is a good method for deriving weights of indexes.

Real-time and accurate water supply forecast is crucial for water supply control. However, most existing methods are likely affected by factors such as weather and holidays, which lead to a decline in the reliability of water supply *** this paper, we address a generic artificial neural network, Initialized Attention Residual Network(IARN), to tackle the time series prediction problem in water supply domain. Specifically, instead of continuing to use the recurrent neural network(RNN)in time-series tasks, we try to build a convolution neural network(CNN) to recede the disturb from other factors and get a more credible results. Experiments show that our method achieves state-of-the-art performance on several datasets in terms of accuracy,robustness and generalization ability. Sulfur corrosion induced by active sulfur has been proved to significantly decrease the insulation performance of oil-immersed equipment. In order to protect the oil-paper insulation from sulfur corrosion, active sulfur is cleared in the refining process of crude oil. Some inactive sulfur with high-efficiency antioxidant is still retained in the mineral oil to improve the oxidation stability of oil, such as thiophenic compounds. However, the corrosive effect of inactive sulfur on the oil-paper insulation has not yet clear. Therefore, thiophene that is the largest content of sulfide in the insulating oil was selected as the research object, a series of accelerated thermal ageing experiments of oil-paper without and with thiophene under the different high temperature were conducted, scanning electron microscope equipped with an energy-dispersive X-ray spectrometer (SEM/EDX) and inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) were used to characterize the corrosion degree of oil-paper insulation. The results show that no corrosive deposit was observed on the surface of oilpaper insulation without thiophene even at very high temperature, while a few corrosive deposit was accumulated on the surface of oil-paper insulation with 500 mg/kg thiophene. The corrosion degree of oil-paper insulation with thiophene had an uptrend as the increase of temperature (130°C-180°C), preliminarily indicating that thiophene may be activated in the oil-paper system under the action of overheating fault of oil-immersed transformer and posed a corrosion threat to oil-paper insulation.

Considering the batch assembly with multiple function requirements (FR), the multi-object selective assembly (SA) technology based on the hybrid particle swarm algorithm is introduced in this paper. Firstly, the SA model is discussed, and a multi-object optimization problem is illustrated based on the assembly chains;additionally, the hybrid particle swarm algorithm is used to solve the multi-object selective assembly problem. The matching matrix of batch parts is designed as the particle. The local non-inferior particles and the global non-inferior particles of each iteration population are calculated. The particle population is update by crossover and mutation operations. After all the iterations, the final global non-inferior particles are selected as the matching strategy of batch parts. Based on the optimized matching strategy, the assembly success rate is calculated, and each assembly accuracy and its precision is guaranteed. The process of multi-object SA based on hybrid particle swarm algorithm is introduced, and an example of batch cabin sections are illustrated to obtain the optimized matching strategy of batch parts. Contrasted to the sequential strategy and the random strategy, it can find that the multi-object SA method based on hybrid particle swarm algorithm has advantage in guaranteeing the assembly success rate, and comprehensively decreasing each assembly accuracy. © 2018 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.
