In the next decades, the gravitational-wave (GW) standard siren observations and the neutral hydrogen 21-cm intensity mapping (IM) surveys, as two promising cosmological probes, will play an important role in precisely measuring cosmological parameters. In this work, we make a forecast for cosmological parameter estimation with the synergy between the GW standard siren observations and the 21-cm IM surveys. We choose the Einstein Telescope (ET) and the Taiji observatory as the representatives of the GW detection projects and choose the Square Kilometre Array (SKA) phase I mid-frequency array as the representative of the 21-cm IM experiments. In the simulation of the 21-cm IM data, we assume perfect foreground removal and calibration. We find that the synergy of the GW standard siren observations and the 21-cm IM survey could break the cosmological parameter degeneracies. The joint ET+Taiji+SKA data give σ(H0) = 0.28 km s−1 Mpc−1 in the ΛCDM model, σ(w) = 0.028 in the wCDM model, which are better than the results of Planck+BAO+SNe, and σ(w0) = 0.077 and σ(wa) = 0.295 in the CPL model, which are comparable with the results of Planck+BAO+SNe. In the ΛCDM model, the constraint precision of H0 and Ωm is less than or rather close to 1%, indicating that the magnificent prospects for precision cosmology with these two promising cosmological probes are worth expecting. © 2021, CC BY.

In this paper,we design the controllers to asymptotically track a constant signal without overshoot for switched linear time-invariant *** component of error is shaped by one mode to realize no *** arbitrary switching signal,the closed-loop switched system is stable based on common Lyapunov *** design a state-dependent switching signal to achieve the nonovershooting tracking,when the stability or the monotonally increasing error for some one subsystem is not satisfied.A numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

This paper proposes an aperiodic intermittent control method for nonlinear active suspension systems（ASSs）. The dynamics of ASSs under the intermittent control is regarded as switched nonlinear systems composed of controllable and uncontrollable subsystems. An aperiodic adaptive intermittent control scheme can be presented to stabilize the attitude of the vehicle by using the backstepping technique and improve the comfort of passengers. Indeed, the objective is achieved via the tradeoff among the controllable and uncontrollable subsystems from the dwell time algorithm. Then, the performance of closed-loop ASSs can be analyzed by the Lyapunov theory. Finally, the effectiveness and rationality of the proposed method are verified from the simulation results.

In this paper, the socially optimal Nash equilibrium of the N-player switched differential game is investigated. Specifically, the definition of the switched Nash equilibrium is presented, and the sufficient condition to construct the switched Nash equilibrium is proposed thereafter. In order to improve the efficiency of the switched Nash equilibrium, the switching strategy is designed to minimize the social costs of N players to guarantee the resulting switched Nash equilibrium is socially optimal.

The paper proposes an event-triggered impulsive and switching control mechanism for a class of switched nonlinear systems,where each subsystem of such a switched system is allowed to be unstable,and there does not exist any switching law to stabilize the *** that the event-triggered impulsive and switching control can reduce the number of occurrence of impulses *** importantly,the event-triggered impulsive and switching control can not only guarantee stability of system,but also exclude Zeno ***,a numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the results.

Fast and accurate detection of pipeline leaks plays an important role in reducing economic losses and ensuring the safety of personnel. However, for the two important indicators of gas pipeline detection, how to effectively detect the leakage location and leakage rate simultaneously is a serious challenge. In this paper, we present an innovative optical fiber detection method based on double fiber Bragg gratings (FBGs) string to solve this problem. Combined with the theory of material mechanics and fluid mechanics, the binary equations are derived as the demodulation formula. In the detection, the corresponding physical quantities can be calculated by substituting the center wavelength of the two FBGs after drift. The experiments demonstrate that this sensor's gas flow rate sensitivity in different positions can be up to 376.67 pm·s/m. Meanwhile, at the same flow rate and different leakage positions, the sensor has sensitive symmetrical performance. The error results manifest that the velocity error is not more than 0.13 m/s, and the relative position detection error is not more than 0.167%. Overall, besides the extended measurement range and excellent linearity, our method also has the advantages of low production cost, simple structure and ease of production, which is more suitable for gas pipeline health monitoring in the future. © 2022, The Authors. Probing a polymerized black hole with the frequency shifts of photons

As is well-known, black hole plays an important role in probing the quantum effects of gravity in the strong-field regime. In this paper, we focus on a polymerized black hole and investigate the quantum effects on the redshift, blueshift and gravitational redshift of photons emitted by massive particles revolving around this black hole. With a general relativistic formalism, we obtain two elegant and concise expressions for the mass of the black hole and the quantum parameter in terms of few direct observables, and find that all the frequency shifts of photons decrease with the quantum parameter. By expanding the total frequency shift for large orbit of the emitter, low peculiar redshift, and small azimuthal angle, we find that the leading contributions to the frequency shift are originated from the kinematic shift and peculiar shift, and the quantum effects make a negligible contribution. In addition, we study the effects of the plasma on the redshift/blueshift for the first time, and conclude that the presence of plasma results in the decrease of the redshift/blueshift. We study the prospects of using the low-redshift and high-redshift black hole shadows as new cosmological standard rulers for measuring cosmological *** show that,using the low-redshift observation of the black hole shadow of M87?,the Hubble constant can be independently determined with a precision of about 13%as H0=70±9 km s?1 Mpc?*** high-redshift observations of super-massive black hole shadows may accurately determine a combination of parameters H0 andΩm,and we show by a simple simulation that combining them with the type Ia supernovae observations would give precise measurements of the cosmological parameters.
