Topic shift detection aims to identify whether there is a change in the current topic of conversation or if a change is needed. The study found previous work did not evaluate the performance of large language models like ChatGPT on the task of topic shift. Therefore, this paper's main task and innovation lie in analyzing ChatGPT's performance on topic shift detection. To provide a more comprehensive evaluation, we conducted topic shift detection tasks on ChatGPT from three aspects: single utterances, adjacent utterances, and contextual levels. Additionally, to gauge the performance of large language models, we conducted experiments on multiple small-scale models and compared the results of the two models. Experimental results on the publicly available English TIAGE dataset showed that small-scale models exhibited lower recall in all three aspects, while ChatGPT performed better in the recall. This suggests that compared to small-scale models, large models are more capable of accurately detecting topic shifts. However, large models also exhibited lower precision, indicating that while ChatGPT can recognize content differences in utterances, its judgment on whether these different contents belong to the same topic is poor. © 2024 IEEE.

knowledge graphs (KGs) play an increasingly im-portant role in many knowledge-aware tasks. However, existing KGs are struggle with incompleteness, which motivates knowledge graph completion (KGC), that is, predicting the lost links between entities based on observed triples. Reasoning over relation paths in incomplete KGs is popular. Nonetheless, some significant issues are still remained to be addressed, such as path noise and ambiguity of inferred relation. To address these problems, we propose a novel path augmented _Reasoning model with avoidance of Path noise and Disambiguation of inferred relation in this paper, referred to as RPD. In this model, we calculate the sum of resource allocation for each relation path to measure its reliability to avoid the inference of path noise. To address the ambiguity of an inferred relation, we introduce position embedding to denote the relation position along the path when learning path representation. Extensive experiments conducted on benchmark datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposal RPD model in the handling of KGC tasks compared to SOTAs.

Digital transformation in manufacturing has become a trend with the continuous development of cloud computing and edge computing. The production process of firearms components is highly challenging and quality problems in the production process may directly affect the safety of people's lives and property. Thus, this paper proposes a production-quality early warning method for firearms components based on cloud-edge collaboration. Real-time early warning and rapid processing for abnormal conditions in the production process are realized based on cloud data analysis and edge intelligent prediction, thereby improving production efficiency and quality. The cloud edge collaboration framework is developed for cloud training of the long short-term memory models and real-time sample edge acquisition, enhancing the adaptability of quality early warning algorithms under specific conditions and the real-time quality of early warning for firearms components. © 2023 ACM.

The rapid advancement of remote sensing technology has heightened concerns over the security of sensitive information. This paper presents an intelligent encryption scheme for remote sensing images using dimensionality variation. The scheme employs two high-dimensional chaotic systems to generate keys for simultaneous row-column scrambling and diffusion. By mapping a 2D plain-image to a 3D space， pixels are rearranged within a 3D cube using a chaotic key， followed by auto-correlation cyclic diffusion. Experimental results demonstrate that this approach significantly enhances encryption security， making it suitable for secure remote sensing image communication.

In the past, most of the research on car-following models in China focused on physical statistics, with relatively little collection and analysis of car-following data. Therefore, it is essential to establish a car-following model suitable for analyzing the car-following characteristics of Chinese drivers based on real driving data. This paper utilizes a vehicle-mounted monocular camera to capture traffic flow images on the highway and uses the YOLOv5 algorithm to detect vehicles. Through the homography transformation between the image plane in the front view and the spatial plane in the top view, the pixel coordinates are converted to 3D spatial coordinates. Then, the ranging model is established, and its effectiveness is verified using the length of the lane dividing lines. The factor analysis is used to determine the main influencing factors of car-following behavior. The appropriate linear car-following models are selected and its parameters are calibrated using multiple linear regression methods. This paper realizes the collection and subsequent processing of car-following behavior data under natural driving conditions, and transforms generalized car-following models into specific research theories for application in practical situations. This method of collecting car-following driving data has strong practicality and can provide effective data support for studying car-following models that accurately reflect the operation conditions of road traffic. © Beijing Paike Culture Commu. The goal of Synthetic Speech Detection (SSD) is to detect spoofing speech synthesized by text-to-speech and voice conversion. Most existing SSD methods focus only on mining frequency-wise dependency by customizing frequency-aggregation modules in SSD models. However, the instance-wise dependency is usually under-explored, which is critical for identifying the synthetic speech from a global view. In this paper, we propose a novel model-agnostic training strategy for SSD that exploits both local (frequency-wise) and global (instance-wise) contexts, which do not rely on a customized architecture and can be flexibly integrated into previous SSD models. Specifically, we propose an inter-frequency correlation module to capture the local context by reconstructing the masked frequency information from the unmasked frequency context. Meanwhile, an inter-instance correlation module is performed to explore the global context among different instances by promoting intra-class compactness and inter-class dispersion in the latent space. These two complementary modules operate from distinct contextual perspectives, leading to improvements in SSD performance. Extensive experiments show that our method significantly improves the performance of two state-of-the-art models on the 2019 dataset and 2021 dataset of ASVspoof. © 2024 Z. Wang, L. Gao, J. As one of the most popular GNN architectures, the graph attention networks (GAT) is considered the most advanced learning architecture for graph representation and has been widely used in various graph mining tasks with impressive results. However, since GAT was proposed, none of the existing studies have provided systematic insight into the relationship between the performance of GAT and the number of layers, which is a critical issue in guiding model performance improvement. In this paper, we perform a systematic experimental evaluation and based on the experimental results, we find two important facts: (1) the main factor limiting the accuracy of the GAT model as the number of layers increases is the oversquashing phenomenon;(2) among the previous improvements applied to the GNN model, only the residual connection can significantly improve the GAT model performance. We combine these two important findings to provide a theoretical explanation that it is the residual connection that mitigates the loss of original feature information due to oversquashing and thus improves the deep GAT model performance. This provides empirical insights and guidelines for researchers to design the GAT variant model with appropriate depth and well performance. To demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed guidelines, we propose a GAT variant model-ADGAT that adaptively selects the number of layers based on the sparsity of the graph, and experimentally demonstrate that the effectiveness of our model is significantly improved over the original GAT. This paper introduces the Temporal Transform Network based on Scale Sequences (TTS) for cloth-changing person re-identification in video datasets. The TTS network is designed to capture multi-scale temporal cues within video sequences. It accomplishes this by initially modeling short-term temporal cues between adjacent frames, followed by capturing long-term relationships between non-consecutive frames. In more detail, short-term temporal cues are modeled through parallel inflated convolutions with different time dilation rates, enabling the representation of pedestrian movement and appearance dynamics. Long-term relationships are effectively captured using a temporal self-attention model, mitigating challenges such as occlusion and noise within the video sequence. The TTS network outperforms existing methods across cloth-changing video ReID datasets such as CCVID. For instance, under general settings, our approach exhibits a 1.1% improvement in top-1 accuracy and a corresponding 1.1% increase in mAP compared to the baseline. In cloth-changing settings, we observe a 0.2% enhancement in top-1 accuracy and a notable 1.3% increase in mAP relative to the baseline. © 2023 IEEE.
