Locomotor intent classification has become a research hotspot due to its importance to the development of assistive robotics and wearable *** work have achieved impressive performance in classifying steady locomotion ***,it remains challenging for these methods to attain high accuracy when facing transitions between steady locomotion *** to the similarities between the information of the transitions and their adjacent steady ***,most of these methods rely solely on data and overlook the objective laws between physical activities,resulting in lower accuracy,particularly when encountering complex locomotion modes such as *** address the existing deficiencies,we propose the locomotion rule embedding long short-term memory(LSTM)network with Attention(LREAL)for human locomotor intent classification,with a particular focus on transitions,using data from fewer sensors(two inertial measurement units and four goniometers).The LREAL network consists of two levels:One responsible for distinguishing between steady states and transitions,and the other for the accurate identification of locomotor *** classifier in these levels is composed of multiple-LSTM layers and an attention *** introduce real-world motion rules and apply constraints to the network,a prior knowledge was added to the network via a rule-modulating *** method was tested on the ENABL3S dataset,which contains continuous locomotion date for seven steady and twelve transitions *** results showed that the LREAL network could recognize locomotor intents with an average accuracy of 99.03%and 96.52%for the steady and transitions states,*** is worth noting that the LREAL network accuracy for transition-state recognition improved by 0.18%compared to other state-of-the-art network,while using data from fewer sensors.

Attention Guided Enhancement Network for Weakly Supervised Semantic Segmentation

Weakly supervised semantic segmentation using only image-level labels is critical since it alleviates the need for expensive pixel-level labels. Most cuttingedge methods adopt two-step solutions that learn to produce pseudo-ground-truth using only image-level labels and then train off-the-shelf fully supervised semantic segmentation network with these pseudo labels. Although these methods have made significant progress, they also increase the complexity of the model and training. In this paper, we propose a one-step approach for weakly supervised image semantic segmentation—attention guided enhancement network(AGEN), which produces pseudopixel-level labels under the supervision of image-level labels and trains the network to generate segmentation masks in an end-to-end manner. Particularly, we employ class activation maps(CAM) produced by different layers of the classification branch to guide the segmentation branch to learn spatial and semantic ***, the CAM produced by the lower layer can capture the complete object region but with many ***, the self-attention module is proposed to enhance object regions adaptively and suppress irrelevant object regions, further boosting the segmentation *** on the Pascal VOC 2012 dataset demonstrate that AGEN outperforms alternative state-of-the-art weakly supervised semantic segmentation methods exclusively relying on image-level labels.

ETFIDS: An Entropy-Driven, Time-Frequency Analysis Framework for In-Vehicle CAN Signal Intrusion Detection

In recent years, cyberattacks against automobiles have exposed significant security threats to in-vehicle networks. The vulnerability of communication signals to malicious interference and manipulation can lead to serious system failures or abnormal behavior. The existing in-vehicle network intrusion detection methods do not fully exploit the time-frequency characteristics of Controller Area Network (CAN) signals. This limitation reduces their effectiveness in capturing subtle changes and signal complexity. Based on the above motivation, from the perspective of signal perception, we propose an entropy-driven, time-frequency analysis framework for in-vehicle network intrusion detection. The framework integrates a signal sampler, a frequency-domain detector, and a time-domain detector. The signal sampler, as the system's front-end module, extracts real-time physical signal data streams from CAN messages. The frequency-domain detector identifies frequency components, detecting high-frequency disturbances and cyclic variations. Meanwhile, the time-domain detector captures instantaneous changes and sudden anomalies. It analyzes signal complexity and anomalies through both stream and block detection. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method performs well under various attack scenarios, offering superior detection and real-time performance. It effectively senses multiple signal anomalies, providing a robust intrusion detection solution for modern in-vehicle networks. © 2025 IEEE.

Bayesian Network Reconstruction and Iterative Divergence Problem Solving Method Based on Norm Minimization

A Bayesian network reconstruction method based on norm minimization is proposed to address the sparsity and iterative divergence issues in network reconstruction caused by noise and missing *** method achieves precise adjustment of the network structure by constructing a preliminary random network model and introducing small-world network characteristics and combines L1 norm minimization regularization techniques to control model complexity and optimize the inference process of variable *** the experiment of game network reconstruction,when the success rate of the L1 norm minimization model’s existence connection reconstruction reaches 100%,the minimum data required is about 40%,while the minimum data required for a sparse Bayesian learning network is about 45%.In terms of operational efficiency,the running time for minimizing the L1 normis basically maintained at 1.0 s,while the success rate of connection reconstruction increases significantly with an increase in data volume,reaching a maximum of 13.2 ***,in the case of a signal-to-noise ratio of 10 dB,the L1 model achieves a 100% success rate in the reconstruction of existing connections,while the sparse Bayesian network had the highest success rate of 90% in the reconstruction of non-existent *** the analysis of actual cases,the maximum lift and drop track of the research method is 0.08 *** mean square error is 5.74 cm^(2).The results indicate that this norm minimization-based method has good performance in data efficiency and model stability,effectively reducing the impact of outliers on the reconstruction results to more accurately reflect the actual situation.

An Area Optimization Approach for Large-Scale RM-TB Dual Logic Circuits Based on a Multitasking Optimization Algorithm

Logic synthesis is a crucial step in integrated circuit design, and area optimization is an indispensable part of this process. However, the area optimization problem for large-scale Fixed Polarity Reed-Muller (FPRM) circuits is an NP-hard problem. To address this problem, we divide Boolean circuits into small-scale circuits based on the idea of divide-and-conquer using the proposed grouping decomposition mechanism. Each small-scale Boolean circuit is transformed into an FPRM circuit by a polarity transformation algorithm. To ensure the circuit’s functionality remains unaffected, we integrate FPRM circuits into an FPRM and Boolean (RM-TB) dual logic circuit based on the proposed gate-level integration. However, the area optimization problem of RM-TB dual logic circuits is a multi-task, high-dimensional, and multi-extremal combinatorial optimization problem. Therefore, we propose a Multipopulation Multitasking Optimization Algorithm (MMuOA) that integrates self-evolution with a multitasking equilibrium optimizer and cross-task evolution through knowledge sharing and transfer. This forms a dynamic optimization framework for simultaneously searching for the optimal polarity corresponding to the minimal area of RM-TB dual logic circuits. Moreover, we propose an Area Optimization Approach (AOA) for an RM-TB dual logic circuit with the minimum area using the MMuOA. Experimental results based on the Microelectronics Center of North Carolina (MCNC) Benchmark test circuits demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of the AOA compared to the state-of-the-art area optimization approach. © 1968-2012 IEEE.

Particle Swarm Optimization with Migration (MPSO) is proposed to solve the issue that PSO will encounter unbearable time cost problems when dealing with High-dimension, Expensive and Black-box objective function tasks. The Migration operator is inspired by the migration of Salmon. Salmon will start a dangerous journey from the ocean to the home rivers for reproduction. The process of the entire behavior is similar to the reduction and recovery of dimension. Therefore, we design the Migration operator where a pretrained Wasserstein Autoencoders (WAE) is applied to simulate the migration behavior to accelerate the process of evolution in PSO, and we use Least-Squares Regression in lower space to produce better generation. In comparison with famous baseline methods in some benchmark functions, MPSO converges faster and more accurately, which shows the great potential of migration operations. © 2023 IEEE.

We study the Nadaraya-Watson estimators for the drift function of two-sided reflected stochastic differential *** estimates,based on either the continuously observed process or the discretely observed process,are *** certain conditions,we prove the strong consistency and the asymptotic normality of the two *** method is also suitable for one-sided reflected stochastic differential *** results demonstrate that the performance of our estimator is superior to that of the estimator proposed by Cholaquidis et al.(Stat Sin,2021,31:29-51).Several real data sets of the currency exchange rate are used to illustrate our proposed methodology.

A novel graph oversampling framework for node classification in class-imbalanced graphs

Graph neural network(GNN) is a promising method to analyze graphs. Most existing GNNs adopt the class-balanced assumption, which cannot deal with class-imbalanced graphs well. The oversampling technique is effective in alleviating class-imbalanced problems. However, most graph oversampling methods generate synthetic minority nodes and their edges after applying GNNs. They ignore the problem that the representations of the original and synthetic minority nodes are dominated by majority nodes caused by aggregating neighbor information through GNN before oversampling. In this paper, we propose a novel graph oversampling framework, termed distribution alignment-based oversampling for node classification in classimbalanced graphs(named Graph-DAO). Our framework generates synthetic minority nodes before GNN to avoid the dominance of majority nodes caused by message passing in GNNs. Additionally, we introduce a distribution alignment method based on the sum-product network to learn more information about minority nodes. To our best knowledge, it is the first to use the sum-product network to solve the class-imbalanced problem in node classification. A large number of experiments on four real datasets show that our method achieves the optimal results on the node classification task for class-imbalanced graphs.

Drug-Drug Interaction (DDI) task plays a crucial role in clinical treatment and drug development. Recently, deep learning methods have been successfully applied for DDI prediction. However, training deep learning models always need large amount of data, while known DDIs are scarce. To address this challenge, a graph neural network-based DDI prediction model named PNESR-DDI is proposed, which compensates for the lack of DDIs by enriching drug representations. First, to obtain initial node representations that incorporate rich semantic information from the biomedical knowledge graph (KG), a link prediction pre-training method on external KG is proposed in the node embedding pre-training module. Then, considering the large scale of the KG, subgraph extraction for the target drug pairs is introduced to reduce noise and decrease computational complexity in the subgraph anchoring module. After that, the subgraph is updated, and node similarities are propagated in the subgraph reconstruction module. Based on the node similarity scores, the subgraph is pruned and reconstructed, which adjusts node representations to be more conducive to DDI prediction. Finally, the drug embeddings, subgraph representations, and drug fingerprint features are concatenated to predict DDIs. PNESRDDI is evaluated on two benchmark DDI datasets: DrugBank and TWOSIDES. Experiment results show that PNESR-DDI achieves better performance than baselines. Ablation results validate the effectiveness of the pre-training method and the adaptive subgraph reconstruction strategy. © 2024 IEEE.

The integration of psychology and computer science has become the mainstream contemporary research method on psychological data. Weibo, China's largest open platform for communication and information sharing between users, has many emotional contents hidden in its data. According to the current trend, the Weibo data are segmented by machine learning to obtain a psychological portrait of Weibo users. This design uses Long and Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) to perform sentiment classification on Weibo data. The classification results are analysed using word frequency analysis and the Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) model to obtain portraits of Weibo users' sentiment and an analysis of the results. The results are displayed in the form of word clouds. According to the clustering results of the word clouds, the main factors affecting different polar emotions can be analysed. © 2022 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.. All rights reserved.
