There may be many groups of candidate results after the step of candidate generation in model-based diagnosis. Hwee Tou Ng proposed the Inc-Diagnose approach to further reduce the candidate results. However, the efficiency of Inc-Diagnose may not be very good. Firstly, we give some correction of IncDiagnosis by applying it to a real example. Then, we propose an improved approach with choosing the order of measurements for incremental diagnosis. Example results show that our approach has better efficiency.

Through analyzing the security problems which exist in general on-line payment systems, this paper proposes a scheme based on WPKI (Wireless Public key Infrastructure) and further designs and implements a gas station on-line payment system. By using WPKI technology which includes SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol, digital signature and digital certificate, the designed on-line payment system can achieve data privacy, authenticity, integrity and non-repudiation during on-line payment process.

In order to realize that IPv6 (Internet Protocol version 6) clients are able to visit remote IPv6 servers through GPRS (General Packet Radio Service), we proposed a new and feasible framework. After discussing the limitations of those existing methods which aren't suitable for GPRS network, we then detailedly demonstrated the proposed framework, and also gave the implementations based on NetFilter framework, Libnet as well as Libipq. Simulation results show that the isolated IPv6 areas can be efficiently connected by GPRS network through the presented framework.

This paper made a good many research on the related theory about indoor localization technology, and pointed out the key techniques for the proposed remote wireless monitoring system solution for radioactive sources. Because of the specificity of system monitoring objects-radioactive sources, ZigBee technology was adopted to implement the monitoring system, by studying the typical indoor localization technology. Functional requirements and difficulties in implementation, during the indoor localization of radioactive sources, were analyzed from three points of view. After the detailed planning of the ZigBee network nodes, the indoor wireless localization system for radioactive sources was designed. Four major functional modules, including system management, serial communication, data processing, and data storage, were devised to realize the host computer. Testing environment was constructed to test the localization system. Test results show that the indoor wireless localization system can meet users' requirements, controlling the localization error in the range of 3m.

Soil fertility grading is an important issue in the agriculture domain, AI based approach has been applied recently. But in most circumstance data obtaining is a expensive and time consuming procedure, sometimes even impossible. This paper presents a Bayesian Network based transfer learning algorithm. The existing training results can be transferred between the nearby land squares. The proposed algorithm considers both the similarity between the learning task and the geographical position of the land squares. Empirical experiment were implemented to prove the efficiency of the algorithm.

Most of the current information retrieval systems are mainly based on full text matching of keywords or topic-based classification, often return a large number of irrelevant information, and are unable to meet the user's request. Ontology-based semantic retrieval is a hot issue in current research. In this paper, the corn plant ontology is constructed using Formal Concept Analysis based approach in which the concept lattice is built from terminology-file relationship table and further reduced. Based on the corn plant ontology, we propose a semantic annotation method in which the feature words are selected by an improved method for weight calculation and the RDF triples are generated by syntactic parser. Finally a semantic retrieval system for corn plant is developed. In comparative experiment one hundred documents are selected as the dataset, and the result shows that the semantic retrieval system introduced in this paper is superior to keyword-based retrieval method in precision ratio and recall ratio.

Qualitative spatial relations are widely used in geospatial ontologies, geospatial (semantic) web services, spatial description logics etc. Methodology to obtain qualitative spatial relations (especially complex spatial relations) from Geographical information system (GIS) has not been studied in previous literatures. An efficient method for calculating complex qualitative spatial relations is discussed here. First, the multi-granularities approximate representation of spatial objects is proposed, it is designed for GIS object types (such as polygon), and requires less process time. Then some algorithms for calculating complex spatial relations based on the multi-granularities approximate representation are given. Finally, this method is implemented and used to obtain topology and direction relations from world map. The analysis and test results show that this method supports complex and integrated spatial relations and requires less process time than traditional method. This method is suitable for obtaining spatial relations for geospatial ontologies and other applications.

With the rapid development of vehicle electronic systems, the vehicle software failure rate has also been rising over time. Providing the convenient and effective maintenance on the vehicle software has become a fundamental block constraining the progress of vehicle electronic industry. A trusted remote remediation framework for vehicle software is presented and realized to enable drivers to online upgrade version or fix bug without needing for driving the vehicles back to the factories or using the specific devices. In this framework, the trusted remediation server takes responsibility for managing and providing the patch programs and the trusted remediation client can download directly from the remediation server to upgrade programs or fix software errors, achieving the self-repair in complex vehicular networks.

One kind of semantic Web service modeling and reasoning method based on description logic with Boolean role constructors (SROIQB) was introduced. By using DL to figure out the hyponymy relationship between concepts in domain ontology and model Web service functional semantic in ServiceProfile, and define Boolean role expressions to describe the composition process in ProcessProfile respectively. Furthermore, Boolean role expression is introduced to describe all possible composition structures of atomic services and then semantic Web service composition can be regarded as a process of consistence checking and class subsumption computing reasoning on DL knowledge base. Thus the comparison and example validation show that introduced one kind of new and reasonable semantic Web service modeling and composition method in the framework of semantic Web by using SROIQB, which with more strong expressive capability and decidable type inference.

Cascading failures often occur in congested complex networks. Cascading failures can be expressed as a three-phase process: generation, diffusion, and dissipation of congestion. Different from the betweenness centrality, a congestion function is proposed to represent the extent of congestion on a given node. Inspired by the restart process of a node, we introduce the concept of "delay time," during which the overloaded node Cannot receive or forward any traffic, so an intergradation between permanent removal and nonremoval is built and the flexibility of the presented model is demonstrated. Considering the connectivity of a network before and after cascading failures is not cracked because the overloaded node are not removed from network permanently in our model, a new evaluation function of network efficiency is also proposed to measure the damage caused by cascading failures. Finally, we investigate the effects of network structure and size, delay time, processing ability, and traffic generation speed on congestion propagation. Cascading processes composed of three phases and some factors affecting cascade propagation are uncovered as well.
