Aiming at the traditional blind source separation for the received single-channel mixed radar signal makes it difficult to accurately recover the source signal, a single-channel radar signal comprehensive separation method based on the combination of the FastICA algorithm and the variational modal decomposition (VMD) algorithm is proposed. The method utilizes VMD to first perform modal separation of single-channel mixed Linear Frequency Modulation (LFM) signal, then selects the modal component signal with the largest correlation coefficient with the mixed signal and expands it with single-channel mixed LFM signal into a virtual multi-channel mixed signal, and finally inputs it into FastICA algorithm to obtain the source signal. The simulation experiment results show that the comprehensive separation algorithm can accurately separate the LFM signal, overcoming the limitation that the FastICA algorithm cannot directly separate the single-channel mixed radar signal.

A kernel Weibull M-transform maximum-versoria-criterion (KWMMVC) algorithm is constructed, which is to use for nonlinear system identification. The KWMMVC algorithm ingeniously integrates the Weibull M-transform scheme into the maximum-versoria-criterion to formulate a novel cost function. The ability of KWMMVC algorithm to identify nonlinear channels under various impulse noise environments is tested in the kernel adaptive filters, and the results proved its superior performance.

Sum-difference driven coarray (SDCA) was paid great attention in array-signal-processing (ASP). By considering SDCA, the degrees of freedom (DOFs) for sparse arrays can be further improved. Here, a new transformed nested-array (TNA) is constructed, which reduces the element redundancy via rearranging the density of sub-arrays of the constructed new TNA. Compared to former TNAs, the constructed TNA gets higher DOFs and maximization signals, numerical simulation are given for getting its superior behaviors.

Multi-exposure image fusion (MEF) is one of the effective ways to obtain high dynamic range (HDR) images. Multi-scale structural patch decomposition based MEF(MSPD) and edge-preserving structural patch decomposition (MESPD) have achieved state-of-the-art fusion quality. MESPD incorporates edge-preserving factors into MSPD to preserve details in a single-scale setting. However, we find that the edge-preserving factors put too much emphasis on the edge, resulting in artifacts on some edges and loss of details. To tackle this issue, guided filter is introduced into MSPD, which is directly used as an edge-preserving filter instead of mean filter to implicitly decompose images. In addition, we have designed a flexible adaptive weight, which can further maintain details of the light and dark areas. Likewise, we inherit MESPD and MSPD to extend our method to multi-scale framework. Extensive experimental results demonstrate our method can produce satisfactory results in both static and dynamic scenes with fewer artifacts and low computational cost. © 2023 IEEE.

As one of the key problems in computer-aided medical image analysis, learning how to model global relationships and extract local details is crucial to improve the performance of abdominal multi-organ segmentation. While current techniques for Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) are quite mature, their limited receptive field makes it difficult to balance the ability to capture global relationships with local details, especially when stacked onto deeper networks. Thus, several recent works have proposed Vision Transformer based on a self-attentive mechanism and used it for abdominal multi-organ segmentation. However, Vision Transformer is computationally expensive by modeling long-range relationships on pairs of patches. To address these issues, we propose a novel multi-organ segmentation framework, named GDTNet, based on the synergy of CNN and Transformer for mining global relationships and local details. To achieve this goal, we innovatively design a Dilated Attention Module (DAM) that can efficiently capture global contextual features and construct global semantic information. Specifically, we employ a three-parallel branching structure to model the global semantic information of multiscale encoded features by Dilated Transformer, combined with global average pooling under the supervision of Gate Attention. In addition, we fuse each DAM with DAMs from all previous layers to further encode features between scales. Extensive experiments on the Synapse dataset show that our method outperforms ten other state-of-the-art segmentation methods, achieving accurate segmentation of multiple organs in the abdomen. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

Few-shot font generation (FFG) aims to learn the target style from a limited number of reference glyphs and generate the remaining glyphs in the target font. Previous works focus on disentangling the content and style features of glyphs, combining the content features of the source glyph with the style features of the reference glyph to generate new glyphs. However, the disentanglement is challenging due to the complexity of glyphs, often resulting in glyphs that are influenced by the style of the source glyph and prone to artifacts. We propose IF-Font, a novel paradigm which incorporates Ideographic Description Sequence (IDS) instead of the source glyph to control the semantics of generated glyphs. To achieve this, we quantize the reference glyphs into tokens, and model the token distribution of target glyphs using corresponding IDS and reference tokens. The proposed method excels in synthesizing glyphs with neat and correct strokes, and enables the creation of new glyphs based on provided IDS. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method greatly outperforms state-of-the-art methods in both one-shot and few-shot settings, particularly when the target styles differ significantly from the training font styles. Network representation learning is to learn low dimensional vectors for nodes. It plays a critical role in network analysis. However, most existing network embedding methods focus on embedding the nodes that already exist in the network, and cannot be generalized to newly-added nodes without retraining the learning model. To deal with this problem, the most common idea is to directly aggregate neighbor embeddings as the representation of new nodes, but this may lead to ignoring the particularity of node neighbors themselves. To fill this gap, we present INRL-NA, an innovative method of Inductive Network Representation Learning based on Neighbor Aggregation, which uses the hierarchical information to selectively aggregate neighbor node embeddings, preserving both the structural information and feature information of network. First we build a hierarchical network, then train a refinement model on the hierarchical network, finally after a new node joins the network, we use the hierarchical information and feature information to selectively aggregate neighbor embeddings. The experimental results show that compared with direct aggregation of all neighbor representations, INRLNA has higher representation quality. © VDE VERLAG GMBH - Berlin - Offenbach.

The VEM for time-harmonic Maxwell equations in inhomogeneous media with Lipschitz interface

It has been extensively studied in the literature that solving Maxwell equations is very sensitive to mesh structures, space conformity and solution regularity. Roughly speaking, for almost all the methods in the literature, optimal convergence for low-regularity solutions heavily relies on conforming spaces and highly regular simplicial meshes. This can be a significant limitation for many popular methods based on broken spaces and nonconforming or polytopal meshes often used for inhomogeneous media, as the discontinuity of electromagnetic parameters can lead to quite low regularity of solutions near media interfaces. This very issue can be potentially worsened by geometric singularities, making those methods particularly challenging to apply. In this paper, we present a lowest-order virtual element method for solving an indefinite time-harmonic Maxwell equation in 2D inhomogeneous media with quite arbitrary polytopal meshes, and the media interface is allowed to have geometric singularity to cause low regularity. We employ the “virtual mesh” technique originally invented in [S. Cao, L. Chen and R. Guo, A virtual finite element method for two-dimensional Maxwell interface problems with a background unfitted mesh, Math. Models Methods Appl. Sci. 31 (2021) 2907–2936] for error analysis. This work admits three key novelties: (i) the proposed method is theoretically guaranteed to achieve robust optimal convergence for solutions with merely H^θ regularity, θ ∈ (1/2, 1];(ii) the polytopal element shape can be highly anisotropic and shrinking, and an explicit formula is established to describe the relationship between the shape regularity and solution regularity;(iii) we show that the stabilization term is needed to produce optimal convergent solutions for indefinite problems. Extensive numerical experiments will be given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2025 World Scientific Publishing Company.

Aiming at the problem that reprojection error (RE) cannot reflect the camera calibration accuracy intuitively, this paper proposes a method to verify the camera calibration results in world coordinate system. Firstly, the checkerboard calibration target is photographed with the camera under test, and the internal parameters and distortion parameters of the camera are calculated by using the pinhole model and the Kannala-Brandt (KB) fisheye model, respectively. Then, the same camera is used to shoot two targets in the field of view (FOV), and the pixel coordinates of the two target points are detected from the image. Thirdly, the inverse projection model is used to calculate the distance between the two objects and the angle between the camera and the two objects, and the real distance and angle are compared. The experimental results show that the average distance errors of the pinhole model and the KB fisheye model are 0.34% and 0.35%, respectively, and the angle errors are 0.40% and 0.12%, respectively, which proves that the verification method can effectively characterize the calibration accuracy of the camera. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, a dual-band antenna for 5G communication based on an antenna design with self-decoupling properties is *** antenna is composed of a self-decoupled antenna unit vertically placed on an 30×80 mm2 ground plane and printed on 0.8 mm thick FR-4(ϵr = 4.4, tanδ = 0.02) substrate,and then added a pair of L-shaped coupling feeder structures on this *** shows that the antenna has two operating frequency bands of 3.3-4.2GHz and 4.8-5GHz, and has good transmission and isolation in the above two operating frequency ***,it also has the advantages of small size, self-decoupling,high isolation,simple structure and easy *** antenna can be used as 5G mobile phone communication antenna unit. © 2022 IEEE.
